Darren responded to a Saturday phone call about emergency work and arrived 9.15am Sunday morning. He was very efficient, polite, friendly, careful with our home and knew exactly what to do. He competed the work very quickly and also did another, less urgent job for us whilst he was on site. We are reassured that we now know what the problem was and how it has been resolved. We intend to get Darren back to undertake electrical certificated and gas certificated works as needed. We have complete confidence in Darren and found him pleasant to deal with as well as efficient. After other people had come to look at my kitchen then blanked me without providing a quote, Britannia have been a breath of fresh air. Darran came the next day and provided a detailed quote for the work - removing an old oven and hob, and fitting a new dual fuel range cooker plus associated wiring needs - the day after. He suggested two days to come for the work, and the only delay then was on my side. I am really pleased with the work that he and his employee have done.

I needed several electrical jobs dealing with, mainly fitting some new hanging bulbs/lamp shades in the dining room, loose sockets etc. Darran dealt with all issues and problems with a smile, rectifying short cables, wrong connections and other time consuming issues. He double checked all circuits before he left, leaving a very happy customer, who will definitely have Darran's number on speed dial!

Flexible around scheduling, explained things clearly and even didn’t charge when it turned out the issue was resolved and didn’t need the repair. Very happy and will always use them moving forwards.

Two day install and Darran was efficient, polite and extremely tidy not to mention thorough. He explained everything from start to finish from the type of boiler, regulations and fitting. Cant thank him enough and extremely happy with the product and finish Would definitely recommend Britannia and will definitely use them for other works

Aware of the company Britannia being local to myself, however not previously used before I gave Darran a call one evening to discuss problems i was having in my flat with the hot water. He seemed quite knowledgeable about the issues I was having and the boiler and control box I have installed. Offered to come on a Sunday (without a ridiculous call out charge like other company's do) and diagnose the problems I was having. Darran diagnosed the problem within a few minutes, one being the main thermostat and the other being the timer/control box having wires behind all burnt out! He bypassed the fault making it safe and useable until he came back with the parts to finish the job. Quote/invoice was sent a couple of days later with the parts and labour to be carried out which were reasonable. As I wasn't in a great rush Darran came back Friday and finished the job. Cleaned up after himself and set up the control. 3 weeks later not having any issues. Would use it again without a doubt and recommend it to anyone!

I initially met Darran from Britannia Building Services to discuss the installation of a bathroom extractor fan for a property in Featherstone The advice given and quality of work was exceptional, so much so that I immediately recruited his business to also install Smoke/ Heat Alarms, additional lighting and significant rewiring in a rental investment property I had recently acquired. Each and every time not only am I impressed by the work completed but I receive feedback from other trades people about the quality of work completed has also helped them with their own work In testimony to the type of business Britannia Building Services is, when I uncovered a problem with some bedroom flooring the day before a tenant was moving in Darran made time to come over and help. The issue proved to be due to some poorly refitted floorboards from a previous bathroom installation but Darran went far over and beyond to sort out the issue there and then so then tenant could move in safely as planned. Having worked with so many trades people or agencies who see desperate situations as an opportunity to profit I was truly taken aback when after helping me at the last hour Darran then refused to accept additional payment out of good will and support for my own investment. If you want to work with a business that provides an exceptionally high quality service, give useful, professional advice and has your best interests at heart I cannot recommend Britannia Services highly enough.

Quick, superb service. Clean, tidy working and offered to sweep and clean up after completing the work. Covid Safe. Excellent - will definitely call out again when I need work doing.
