From the initial planning stage, then the survey, on to the installation, Cahill Renewables reflected the best of British solar installers. Their communication with myself, the customer, was excellent. The actual installation was not rushed. Attention to detail was applied at all times and the work was conducted in a very friendly but professional way. I believe that the full service that was given and the results that followed could only be equalled but not surpassed.

Fred & Richard were “first class” … with all the attributes of experienced engineers that we could have hoped for! It was great to see that the heat pump replacement / installation matched the experience of the solar install, led by Danny and his ‘crew’.

We have had a wonderful experience with Cahill and their installation of our 2 new Midea air source heat pumps. It was a challenging installation on our flat roof, including the use of a crane to place them(!) and all went smoothly. Every aspect of the journey with them has been smooth and professional, starting with discussing the project with Josh, to Bowen overseeing the planning ( including a heat loss survey, etc and deciding the project was practicable) and eventually Darren and his lads ( huge thanks to Cynnamon and Rich!) completing the installation. They were all helpful, friendly, professional, and very likeable! They responded quickly to questions and problems. Things were a little frantic on the last day and the only slight niggle was an initial misplacement of one of the heat pumps, which was quickly resolved. The hot water cylinder sensor also initially malfunctioned but was immediately replaced. The cost quoted was very fair, compared to other quotes. They also gave very honest advice with no hard sell. Everything is working smoothly so far, and the system has been fully explained to us, including weather modulation and how to run it most efficiently. The crucial test will, of course, be how the heating system functions when winter comes—I am optimistic and will provide another update at the end of the year. Until then, I can say that, overall, it has been a great experience and I would unreservedly recommend Cahill to anyone thinking about getting a heat pump!

It is over 9 months since our solar panels, battery, inverter and Eddi were installed by Cahill and we are delighted with the system. It took a while to get the Eddi working properly but myenergi customer support was brilliant and did a firmware update which did the trick. The Eddi diverts excess solar to heat the water in our hot water tank before sending any further excess to the grid - for which we get £ from our supplier (Octopus). So now we are saving on gas as well as electricity on sunny days! With the sun shining so much recently we are exporting to the grid on a daily basis, topping up our hot water and getting the washing done for 'free'. We would not have had the confidence to go ahead without the consistent, patient and knowledgeable guidance provided by Joe Todd in the sales department. At no point was he pushy and he was true to his word at every step. We did have a few twists and turns with the installation which was a little frustrating. However, we can understand why that was the case as there were a few issues with our roof which Cahill, helpfully, arranged for their roofing team to sort out at a very reasonable cost. We are very pleased that we chose to go with Cahill and highly recommend them to others.

Will recommend Cahills to everyone , From start to finish excellent communication, With the solar install very impressed from the start with the plans of where we can fit solar panels which other solar companies didn't even offer us to the install all the cables neatly placed , clear and detailed information on what was being done and even after the long day the guys had still insisting on making sure property had no mess left behind even with our instance on we will tidy so they could make the long journey home. My experience with Cahill was brilliant from start of my enquiry to installation. Keiran and the team are, patient, warm, professional, amongst other likeable things. They have great expertise in their products and their workmanship I feel is fantastic. We had many questions in regards solar& battery, we didn't feel confident in understanding the system. Cahill explained everything, no matter how many times we rang them or asked, they were always patient and put our mind at ease. A fantastic company with a great team who know what they are doing. A breath of fresh air. They will not try to oversell or push you into anything, they will always only supply you with what you ask for or they will recommend. Cahill recently installed solar panels and a battery system at my property. They were, by far, the easiest to deal with and most straightforward of the 5 companies that I asked to quote. The installation team was polite and efficient, and worked very quickly - the same can be said for the scaffolders. The office staff, surveyor, and admin have been first class - Cahill seems to set their standards very high, and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for electrical work

Cahill Renewables recently installed a solar panel and battery system at my house. From start to finish all of the team at Cahill provided us with a superb service (sales, electrician, panel installation, scaffolding, technical and general advice). In particular, I always felt confident that Cahill were providing sound advice, great products and competitive pricing. I compared Cahill to a number of other suppliers and, for me, Cahill provided a great all-round service. Everyone was very pleased and prepared to answer any queries and we now have what looks like a great solar set-up for the coming years.

Cahil installed my Solar, Givenergy Battery & Gateway system in May 24. I cannot fault the lads on location, although some planning issues did materialise with the late arrival of hardware & scaffolding. The company were efficient and proactive leading up to the installation apart from the above. The real issue comes, with after-installation support which is not at all forthcoming unless you're prepared to pay £250 + VAT for a technician to call. After the installation was completed, I was told, as soon as my smart meter is installed you'll be up and running, and your Octopus smart tariffs will kick in. Now, and this is an important point for anyone considering a similar system, if you have any Wi-Fi issues, unstable signal or change providers you are then in a world of Solar & Battery pain because the system will no longer talk to itself and needs someone with knowledge of the set-up, the battery, AIO inverter & Gateway, not forgetting the Fox ESS inverter in my loft, you'll need the Passwords to re-set inverters, to connect them to your wi-fi, to the various Apps to run the system etc. etc. etc. It's absolutely key that customers understand, there is no paper handover on how it all works, it's all online and you're expected to go and find the answers yourself :( The support or lack of it I've received thus far has been poor from all sides, Cahil, Octopus & Givenergy with all referring me to the other. Buyer beware, the support is poor unless you pay upfront :(

I have just had my solar system installed. Right from the beginning the sales team gave expert advice on what I needed and how it all worked. The price was very compatible as some companies had the same equipment for a lot more money. The equipment arrived on the pre-booked date and was installed by a good qualified engineering team. Once fitted the electrician explained how all the equipment worked and then helped me put the monitoring App on my phone. The team cleared up after they had finished and left my house as good as it was when they arrived. I would recommend this first class company not only for the professional way they do business but also for the after sales, as they are their to help if you need anything or need anything explained.

Really pleased with the Cahill team who were recommended to me by a friend. Very helpful explain options during the initial consultation and sale helping me to understand quite a technical solution. The installation guys were all very friendly and polite working hard to get the system commissioned. Very tidy job and all working as I had hoped - would definitely recommend 😀

After much searching for various firms to install solar panels and batteries, chose Cahill after a visit by Joe left us with a good feeling regarding after-installation support. All work done to install panels was done in one day, and we are now using solar with Octopus to get flexible operation of battery power to best use. Would recommend them for anyone thinking of going solar.

Joe, who worked on the design of our system didn’t tire of our questioning and reconfigured our quote several times. Ross the surveyor was very thorough and reassuring. On the day of installation Dan the electrician was quick and considerate of our house. Even the scaffolders were mindful of our precious new roof and took steps to minimise any damage. I don't normally complete surveys, but this firm really deserve the praise. I cast about for quotes and this firm were head & shoulders above everyone else in their approach. They discussed what I wanted rather than telling me what they wanted to install. From start to finish, everyone was professional and pleasant to deal with. Special mentions: Joe, sales - put a lot of effort into building the system with lots of chats with me Ross, survey - really pleasant & helpful. Did the job in quick time, gave some good advice and liaised between me and the company Kieran, owner? - fitted my installation in within one week following the above liaison! Danny, Dave & Charlie, install - started early, worked hard all day, left late. Only a small install but I'm only a small user of power. I'm really impressed with the performance of the system in the 6 days I've had it, bearing in mind there hasn't been a lot of sunshine.

Had our install done 14 panels and batteries on a rather rainy Friday, even though it was tipping it down the guys put the panels up in record time and the electricians completed the job. They were all superb and cleaned up after. You wouldn't have known there had even been there. Great service and highly recommended.

I have added 6 panels and two batteries to my existing system. The whole service, from getting quotes in to fitting was easily understood, and very friendly. The work was carried out quickly and the two young men fitting it were a credit to the firm. I would throughly recommend Cahill to anyone looking to have solar fitted.

After much searching in the confusing world of solar, I contacted Cahill Renewables. From the first contact the support, information and advice was by the far the best. After consultation and provision of my information I was given a quote. I decided to go with 14 solar panels, batteries and an inverter. This was well priced and reasonable. I must say that Joe was brilliant! Once I agreed to proceed the surveyor reviewed my property and prepared the plan for installation. A few days before the scaffolders then installed the scaffolding. On the day of the installation the electricians arrived on time and were super helpful. They did the main part of the installation getting ready for the roofers to come and install the solar panels. The whole process went smoothly with no hitches whatsoever. Immediately, the system was online and working!, The after sales too was great following up to make sure all was well. My system was registered to export within a couple weeks from installation. I would not hesitate at recommending Cahill!

I had 7 quotes ranging from £8k-£13k and 3 companies inc Cahills came round. From initial phone call until I went with Cahill there were no pressure phone calls from them that there were from the other 6 companies. Any questions I phoned with, they answered the phone within seconds likewise emails returned promptly. Josh, joe & Kieran were very friendly, patient and explained technical stuff in a way I could understand. They made their options & recommendations and explained any pros & cons of my queries. They were the 2nd cheapest price. Apart from the £13k quote they were providing better/newer quality kit. They were also including 5 to 7 more panels than any of the other companies. Roofers fitted panels and Jermain the electrician was so knowledgeable and efficient starting at 9.30 and leaving at 4.45 after explaining all the kit and the app. After sales has been great with joe & Josh giving all the time needed to help with all my questions. The panels look great, batteries, inverter and new fuse board that was needed at no extra cost are all very neat. I can’t recommend Cahill renewables and its staff highly enough. They are a good, honest, reliable company which is rare to find these days. Thank you

Cahill were one of 5 quotes I received for my installation. My requirements were not straightforward and they were really helpful on all the options discussed ensuring I got a quality solution I was happy with. Their quotes were competitive (they did not over-inflate the quote then massively discount it as some others did) with no pressured sales. The installation team were excellent, very friendly and when problems occurred they kept me informed. The issues were resolved in a timely manner and it took 3 days to complete instead of 2. The groundwork team were excellent too. Really pleased with the end result, a very neat install that is performing well. Customer service post install is excellent too. A great company to work with.

Like anyone considering solar its a complex system individually designed for your property. I did the usual thing of getting three quotes ranging from 7k to 13k. One being one of the top two companies being the 13k.Cahill renewables were at the lower end. But the main thing that swung it for me was that there was no pressure or pushy sales from Cahill. I researched them thoroughly, so my decision was made easily. I had spoken to Josh several times over the phone and by email, he went through what would be the best for me. I was aware due to the size of my roof I was limited to the size of the system, so I would not be completely self sufficient. So deposit paid and things were on the move. site survey completed, date sorted Scaffolders arrived when arranged and everything was a GO. I had also asked for a Velux window to be removed which I was quoted for as well. Electricians arrived and were great and all the work carried ,very tidy work completed throughout and left clean. My house is Edwardian and over 100 years old and is like a bomb shelter, however there was an issue with my roof tiles, due to the age of the house they were quite brittle. After a conversation with George this was resolved and dealt with. Fox equipment installed and was registered and set up on the app and could see the generation straight away. To summarise the whole process was easy effective and professional throughout. I would definitely recommend Cahill to anyone considering an installation.

All of the staff at Cahill have been friendly and professional from the first inquiry call through to the after installation support. They talked me through the options and helped me choose the best solution for my home battery installation. The recommended options were presented with full costings. Upon making my choice they provided a timely installation date, designed to fit into my requirements. The installation engineer arrrived at the advised time and proceded to install the system. He was friendly and informative. The installation was neat and tidy. Upon completion he walked me through setting up the app so I can control and monitor my useage and didn't leave until I was satisfied and he answered all my questions. The following day I recieved a call to check I was happy before the final invoice and supporting paper work (still awaited due to external factors) are sent. The final invoice was as expected with no 'hidden' extras. They came recommended and I highly recommend Cahill Electrical for the installation of Battery systems.
