I can thoroughly recommend K.Cahill who installed our 6.8kw solar system with 6.5kwh battery. We moved into our new house a few months ago and got 4 quotes from a couple of local suppliers and a couple of national providers. K.Cahill were not the cheapest but suggested a good system, have a strong background as electricians and George in the office was able to answer all of my many queries. Initially we agreed on 14 panels being installed on the SSE and WSW facing roofs, with additional panels being added at an agreed rate each should more fit. On the first install day Keiren, Kem and Jermaine attended to do the install. They were able to fit 14 panels and install the battery and inverter over the course of the long day. They were able to position them better than I had expected with micro inverters on all of the panels which might be shaded over the course of the average day. Kem followed up for a second visit to fit 5 additional panels in positions agreed on the first install date. Keiren got the system connected to the internet and set up the mobile app for me so that I can see how the panels are performing and showed me how to best control the system with advice on maximum effectiveness. All ran very smoothly and I'm delighted with the performance of the system as well as the placement and look of the panels. From their and my own research, as well as the rapidly increasing energy prices, it should pay for itself within 10 years, after which time it's all profit. I can and will thoroughly recommend K.Cahill and his team for anyone interested in a solar system.

Within a few minutes of completing an online enquiry I was impressed to receive a call from George at K Cahill. He answered all my questions about air source heat pump and pv solar panel system installations and agreed to arrange a heat loss survey for the former. This was efficiently carried out and an indication given of what radiators would need to be upgraded and where the heat pump could be sited. Detailed costed quotations for both systems were provided by George. Having decided to go ahead with both installations a date for them was arranged before Christmas. A further visit prior to the work was made by Jamie to check plumbing details. Darren undertook the air source heat pump instal with Kieran Joining him for the electrical aspects and to undertake the pv work. There was some delay to the conclusion of the work due to a faulty hot water cylinder but both Darren and Kieran were always very punctual, helpful and efficient throughout. The heat pump is working well for both heating and hot water. Having been used to a gravity fed tank we are now enjoying higher pressure water throughout the house including excellent showers. We had 8 solar panels fitted. Some of the scaffolding required affected our neighbour's car parking. George ensured that this was removed promptly after the work was completed. Minor adjustments have been carried out competently and with clear explanation of what is involved.
