Like anyone considering solar its a complex system individually designed for your property. I did the usual thing of getting three quotes ranging from 7k to 13k. One being one of the top two companies being the 13k.Cahill renewables were at the lower end. But the main thing that swung it for me was that there was no pressure or pushy sales from Cahill. I researched them thoroughly, so my decision was made easily. I had spoken to Josh several times over the phone and by email, he went through what would be the best for me. I was aware due to the size of my roof I was limited to the size of the system, so I would not be completely self sufficient. So deposit paid and things were on the move. site survey completed, date sorted Scaffolders arrived when arranged and everything was a GO. I had also asked for a Velux window to be removed which I was quoted for as well. Electricians arrived and were great and all the work carried ,very tidy work completed throughout and left clean. My house is Edwardian and over 100 years old and is like a bomb shelter, however there was an issue with my roof tiles, due to the age of the house they were quite brittle. After a conversation with George this was resolved and dealt with. Fox equipment installed and was registered and set up on the app and could see the generation straight away. To summarise the whole process was easy effective and professional throughout. I would definitely recommend Cahill to anyone considering an installation.

All of the staff at Cahill have been friendly and professional from the first inquiry call through to the after installation support. They talked me through the options and helped me choose the best solution for my home battery installation. The recommended options were presented with full costings. Upon making my choice they provided a timely installation date, designed to fit into my requirements. The installation engineer arrrived at the advised time and proceded to install the system. He was friendly and informative. The installation was neat and tidy. Upon completion he walked me through setting up the app so I can control and monitor my useage and didn't leave until I was satisfied and he answered all my questions. The following day I recieved a call to check I was happy before the final invoice and supporting paper work (still awaited due to external factors) are sent. The final invoice was as expected with no 'hidden' extras. They came recommended and I highly recommend Cahill Electrical for the installation of Battery systems.

The team at Cahill were extremely professional, from first contact through to quote and installation. No pressure selling, offered advice where our requirements or expectations may have been unrealistic but never once forced us into any decisions. We had a seedless installation with the solar panel installers timed to complete as the hardware installation began. Discovered that we had a problem caused by UK power networks, Cahill handled that and had the UKPN in to make the required repairs then came back to complete the job. Everyone hopes for a faultless system, but to us, the real quality of a company is when you do have a problem. Some of the kit failed, but a call to the team and they pulled out all the stops to get things fixed. Their after sales customer experience is exemplary, if only every company were as good. If you’re look for solar installation with batteries, you can’t really go wrong with the team at Cahill.

Cahill's arranged our Heat Pump central heating very professionally from the start. They took care of every detail, nothing was too much trouble. The team who came to do the installation were very good. As we are getting on in years and live in a small bungalow moving things in preparation could have been a problem, but, the team took care of everything, moving things and clearing up after themselves at each stage, we just provided the tea, coffee and biscuits. In three days the whole thing was finished and working. One of the main points we were pleased with was the way they ran the pipes under the house, so, no pipes running along skirting boards. All this for a very reasonable price. A very professional company.

Having decided to have solar panels and batteries installed Cahill Renewables were one of five companies we approached for a quote. Right from the start we were impressed with their response, their efficiency and willingness to listen to what we wanted and to answer all the questions we had. The quote we received was competitive and having agreed a date and timescale for the work it all went ahead as planned. All of the guys who came on site were polite, considerate, careful and professional. They worked extremely well as a team to ensure the job was completed in a timely manner and kept the site clean and tidy. We enquired about having some additional electrical work done linked to the solar installation and this was scheduled to fit in with the existing work whilst they were on site. We have no hesitation in giving Cahill Renewables 5 stars in all aspects of their work and would certainly recommend them to others. A great team in all respects.

I considered quotations from six providers before choosing Cahill. All communications were professional. We set a date and Cahill delivered on time. They said they could install in one day and they did it. The two roofers were very experienced as were the two electricians. The commissioning was done the next day. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Right from planning/designing the system Cahills showed they knew what they were doing. They gave open and honest advice, listened to our expectations and told us what we could get. We asked for some changes to the proposal and a discussion adapted those to the final design which was installed in a single day - panels, inverter, and batteries. My son had Cahill install a similar system and was very pleased with the quality of the work and the attitude and enthusiasm of the whole team. Having recently had two chimneys removed this gave me a large roof area suitable for a reasonable PV array Cahill were helpful without being pushy Joss in the office was enthusiastic and knowledgable and supplied a detailed plan for my roof area. At no time was I put under pressure to buy although their quote was not the cheapest it was very competitive however I was impressed by their attention to detail and technical ability. They arranged for scaffolding to arrive on the day they were supposed to be here and completed all the work within their declared timeframe. From start to finish everyone was polite, helpful and dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. All in all great job from tradesmen to the Directors I can highly recommend this company for their can do attitude .

Cahill Renewables installed a large solar installation of 28 PVs and solar edge battery/inverter at my home. Initially recommended by a neighbour, they quickly drew up a draft design based on the google earth details of the house. They then arranged for an on-site survey which supported their initial design. At this stage they were able to finalise the estimate of cost to include the scaffolding and ground works. While not cheap, I considered the cost reasonable. During this stage of the process, they were very responsive to queries, and to carrying out (small) iterations of the specification. We agreed a date for installation. The day before installation their scaffolding contractors arrived, set up the scaffolding and the next day the installation team of 2 turned up. They worked solidly for two days, solving a number of unanticipated challenges along the way. They had a very professional 'can do' approach, and by the end of day 2 the installation was up and running. The following day some set-up was needed with the Solar Edge software, which the team at Cahilll did efficiently, making sure to communicate clearly what was happening. Two days later the scaffolding contractors returned to remove the scaffolding. Considering the size and complexity of the task, it was carried out with minimum of fuss, tidily and professionally. My electricity costs have dropped by over eighty percent in the three days since installation. Well done, Cahill team!

Our 6kW solar pv and battery system was installed by Cahill Renewables on 8th June 2023. Before deciding on Cahill, we sought many more than the recommended three quotes and by the time I spoke to Office Manager Joe I was getting thoroughly confused by the variations in proposed designs, components and costs. Joe’s patient explanations gave us confidence to choose theirs over similarly priced quotes, plus we wanted a local East Anglian company that specialised in all renewables, not just installing solar panels. Once the installation was done, on the promised date, they immediately provided the necessary MCS Certificate and DNO approval letter so we could export energy to the grid. In the first four weeks of operation, solar and battery power provided almost all our needs and we exported over 1 megawatt. Such is our confidence in Cahill Renewables that both our immediate neighbours are having their installations this week.

We looked at several companies when considering our Solar installation. The key reason for us to select Cahill was the quality and manner of the interactions we had with Shane, the salesman who replied to our enquiry. At no stage were we put under any pressure, indeed He advised us when not to spend money as we wouldn't get the benefits from it. In terms of value, it was extremely competitive but extremely good quality, so the value was clear. Additionally, Cahill make a big thing about Ethical Sourcing and wanted to ensure that we had kit which was high quality and ethical. The quality of this interaction continued as we spoke to the directors and sub contractors who managed the install. They were very approachable and made good suggestions to improve the install. The sparkies were especially commendable and the quality of the install was superb. After sales service has also been superb and very responsive. We have already been delighted with the solar install and have saved significant amounts in just the first week. My conservatory makes it difficult to erect scaffolding on to get access to my west facing roof. Numerous solar companies had told me it wasnt possible to put scaffolding up without putting legs into the neighbouring property which was not an option for me. Cahill Renewables took a look at the space they had to work in, consulted their scaffolder who said they could put up the scaffolding without needing the neighbours garden and got it done with no problems. The rest of the install went ahead with no problems. The staff are friendly and have provided brilliant customer service to me. I would recommend them to my friends.

I chose Cahill after reviewing many review sites and I can honestly say their customer service and their installation teams are excellent. From the initial phone call with Joe in the office discussing the technicalities of the solar panels, the inverter and the battery system they addressed all my technical questions expertly. There was no big sales push, once I received the quote, they let me decide in my own time and I had to approach them to place the order! Coordination and communication from George were excellent from when the scaffold would be erected to when the engineers and roofers would arrive. On-site discussions with their electrical install team (Ken) were clear and they understood my requirements with respect to cables being in trunking and the colour of the external conduit etc. Their installation is exceptional, and their communication exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar on their property.

We wanted a solar system and, after many false starts, were lucky enough to find Cahill Renewables. From the start they did everything they could to build us a system that matched our needs. They gave us an installation date but put the panels on the roof 2 weeks early. They then tried to fit the remainder of the system a week early. This did not happen, unfortunately, due to the electrician having an accident. They did come to us on the due date and installed, over two days, a brilliant state of the arc system. It works better than we could have wished for. All the people we have dealt with at the company have treated us with care and consideration. These people really do care about their customers. We would not hesitate to use them again.

I contacted Cahill Renewables, after reading some of the reviews about the company. After speaking to George the contracts manager about the fitting of Solar Panels, I found him to be extreamly helpful, and was not at all pushing to get a sale. He very worked out a price for the system that would suit my requirements, and an aggrement reached. We have looked at getting a solar installation previously from other contractors and have always been put off by their pushy sales pitch, Cahill Renewables was completely different. We spoke to Joe in the office and his responses were polite, quick and always aimed at getting the right solution for us with no pressure at all, and at a competitive price. He shared plenty of technical detail in advance so we knew exactly which panels, battery and inverter we were getting and when they turned up the installation happened very efficiently. The on-site team were very professional and the electrician talked us through the equipment as he was setting everything up. I've recently had solar panels, together with batteries and Solar I Boost+ installed by this Company and can HIGHLY recommend them in all aspects. I had looked at many reviews before requesting a quote for the work to be undertaken, and all my expectations were exceeded! Following my initial telephone enquiry to the office, Joe and George were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Once my objectives and circumstances were discussed, Joe provided a prompt detailed quote which was modified, after discussions, several times over the next few days. The professionalism was exemplary without any "pushy" sales techniques. At this time, I had been exploring the possibility of participating in the Essex County Council Solar Together scheme and had submitted my details. I was so impressed with K.Cahill that I decided to use them prior to receiving the quote from Solar Together. In the event, K.Cahill were 10% cheaper for a much better service! Installation was undertaken only 3-4 weeks after contracts were signed and, on the day itself, everything went very smoothly with minimal disruption. Keiran, the electrician and Steve & Lewis the roofing panel installers were, again, extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly as well as being very tidy. Everything was completed on the day, and we were generating our own electricity by 2 pm!

If you are thinking of having solar panels installed - this company is epic. Pre-sale: I spent considerable time researching different companies and it was a minefield. Eventually, what persuaded me to go with K Cahill was my communication with Joe in the sales office. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful - without being pushy. The system options were explained fully and all my questions answered. There was never a point where I felt pressured into anything. Pre-installation: Once I decided to go ahead with the installation, my perception of the company only improved. On two occasions I was given automatic upgrades of equipment (first more efficient, higher capacity panels, and then an upgraded battery) for no other reason than new, improved equipment was now available. Installation: The scaffolding team (I believe sub-contracted) arrived on time, were efficient, polite and had the scaffolding erected within 2 hours. The installers (lead by Kem) were amazing. Again, they arrived perfectly on time. Very tidy, (shoes removed when entering the house, without being asked), incredibly polite and had the installation completed and up and running within 4 hours. Amazing. After sale: The after-sales contact has been brilliant, with a thorough run-through of the monitoring system. Our panels are functioning amazingly well and our electricity usage from the grid has plummeted. Happy days. So completely happy with this installation and cannot recommend K Cahill highly enough. A*

I approached K Cahill after I had been badly let down by another PV system provider. I was given good advice, no pressure and an extremely quick installation date. The team of two arrived when expected and tolerated my poor jokes about getting a move on because the sunlight was being wasted! Two days later and the battery is fully charged and the system is exporting electricity. The only glitch has been that the export meter is faulty - there is no way they could have known that, and a replacement is coming. George has been extremely friendly and helpful both with the planning, communicating regarding the installation and now solving the problem. Nobody could ask for more. I have ended up with a better system than I originally intended, better value and much quicker than expected!

I would just like to thank George for his advice and planning for the solar and storage. Nothing was to much trouble and he was always at the end of the phone. From initial enquiry to installation in around two weeks. The team arrived as planned to fit the system and nothing was to much trouble for them. Very polite and professional at all times. The job: Solar panels with batteries in the attic and a heat pump with new radiators and water tank. A price was agreed at the start and never changed. The job was started on the day that was originally agreed and finished on time. From my first contact with K Cahill Renewables I was impressed. George kept me informed from start to finish. Any questions I had were answered promptly. He went through everything thoroughly, explaining what was going to be done and in what order it would be done. The contract was also explained in great detail. Whilst the work was being done he kept in contact to make sure I was happy with the progress being made. Darren the plumber was polite, friendly and always happy to talk about what he was doing. Kieran put the panels on the roof and was also polite, friendly and happy to explain what he was doing. The whole process was well planned and executed. I would be happy to use this company in the future and recommend them highly. They are all very pleasant, happy, polite and trustworthy.

I can thoroughly recommend K.Cahill who installed our 6.8kw solar system with 6.5kwh battery. We moved into our new house a few months ago and got 4 quotes from a couple of local suppliers and a couple of national providers. K.Cahill were not the cheapest but suggested a good system, have a strong background as electricians and George in the office was able to answer all of my many queries. Initially we agreed on 14 panels being installed on the SSE and WSW facing roofs, with additional panels being added at an agreed rate each should more fit. On the first install day Keiren, Kem and Jermaine attended to do the install. They were able to fit 14 panels and install the battery and inverter over the course of the long day. They were able to position them better than I had expected with micro inverters on all of the panels which might be shaded over the course of the average day. Kem followed up for a second visit to fit 5 additional panels in positions agreed on the first install date. Keiren got the system connected to the internet and set up the mobile app for me so that I can see how the panels are performing and showed me how to best control the system with advice on maximum effectiveness. All ran very smoothly and I'm delighted with the performance of the system as well as the placement and look of the panels. From their and my own research, as well as the rapidly increasing energy prices, it should pay for itself within 10 years, after which time it's all profit. I can and will thoroughly recommend K.Cahill and his team for anyone interested in a solar system.

Within a few minutes of completing an online enquiry I was impressed to receive a call from George at K Cahill. He answered all my questions about air source heat pump and pv solar panel system installations and agreed to arrange a heat loss survey for the former. This was efficiently carried out and an indication given of what radiators would need to be upgraded and where the heat pump could be sited. Detailed costed quotations for both systems were provided by George. Having decided to go ahead with both installations a date for them was arranged before Christmas. A further visit prior to the work was made by Jamie to check plumbing details. Darren undertook the air source heat pump instal with Kieran Joining him for the electrical aspects and to undertake the pv work. There was some delay to the conclusion of the work due to a faulty hot water cylinder but both Darren and Kieran were always very punctual, helpful and efficient throughout. The heat pump is working well for both heating and hot water. Having been used to a gravity fed tank we are now enjoying higher pressure water throughout the house including excellent showers. We had 8 solar panels fitted. Some of the scaffolding required affected our neighbour's car parking. George ensured that this was removed promptly after the work was completed. Minor adjustments have been carried out competently and with clear explanation of what is involved.

Cahill installed first and second fix electrics for my Orangery. They have since replaced various light fittings and installed a new fuse box. All work was completed on time and to a very high standard. Their electricians are polite, friendly and helpful. All work was completed to a high standard and a certificate of works provided where required.
