John (with a colleague) came out on a Sunday evening to have a look at a very old and complicated electrical job. Gave very good professional advice and a sensible assessment of what needed to be done, rather than the astronomical and unrealistic estimates we've been given by the many rip-off merchants out there. John is everything you want in a handy man - courteous, professional, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. He delivers everything he promises and more. He is always bang on time, does a fantastic job and gives great advice if you're not sure what you need or should have done, often suggesting much more cost effective ways of doing what you thought would cost a lot more. And unlike almost every other builder, he will actually work for the whole time he is with you, rather than taking taking endless tea breaks. He also makes life very easy for you by making sure he buys and has all the tools and equipment necessary before arriving on site even going so far as to buy all the parts too, even large items like toilets, etc. He was so good on the first job he did for me that I have already booked him in for a whole series of other jobs. The house is going to be amazing once he has finished the work. So so pleased I have found John and am a little hesitant about recommending him to others for fear that he won't have any time left for me! But in all honesty, I can't rate and recommend him highly enough. If you need any kind of building work done, John is DEFINITELY the man to do it. You need look no further.
