My dad with Alzheimer's and ordered a scooter from a catalogue from Careco and he was additionally charged an extra £900 on top of the 3499.99 he paid. On speaking with my dad if the company had any dementia awareness training it would be immediately apparent that he has cognitive issues. Dad does not even need a mobility scooter. Dad ordered a ranger mobility scooter for 3499.99 - the amount taken from his bank account was 4403.98 - i contacted careco and queried this and have a confirmation email from careco advising me that dad was charged VAT which he should not have. they charged him £119.99 for a years extended warranty and £50 for gel inserts in case he "got a puncture. He was also charged for installation... this is a plug in battery. The order has been cancelled but will take 7-14 days for the money to go back into dads account. I would be extremely apprehensive about recommending this company.

Very pleased with service from start to finish. Very helpful and patient staff in the (Leicester) store. Riser recliner chair ordered, 4-6 weeks delivery promised. Actual delivery was 2 weeks. Installed, set up and functions demonstrated quickly and efficiently. Overall very pleased with the service from start to finish.

I had excellent service from both Leicester and Coventry branches. I went into the Leicester branch with a specific chair in mind, but they hadn’t got it in the showroom. A quote was given to me for a 4 motor riser recliner chair which had to be actually built for me. I asked if I could take the quote home and think about it and maybe bring my friend in to see the chair. The staff were very helpful and were happy to agree to this request. After consideration I decided that I couldn’t afford the chair quoted by Leicester and wondered if one of your other branches had the chair that I originally wanted. Coventry did, so my friend and I took a trip to see it. The salesman(Lesley) was very friendly and gave me plenty of time to try all the chairs again. He explained about the chairs and all the controls. He didn’t put any pressure on me, he just gave me time to think and decide. The chair that I had seen in your brochure and had gone to see in Coventry had all the things that I required and was £1000.00 cheaper than the quote I was given in Leicester. It was an easy decision really and so easy to sort out. Lesley was very efficient and the sale was signed and sealed in less than 15 minutes. Everything was explained about delivery and aftercare and concerning delivery, that was excellent. The communication was great, Tim and Paul were on time, friendly, knew what they were doing and explained everything about the chair. Excellent service by everyone. Thank you!!

I took delivery of the Riser recliner from the Burlington/Hudson range. Firstly, it’s always a difficult decision when you are in the showroom to choose a fabric from such a small sample piece, but I chose the amble pebble and it’s a perfect neutral. The delivery guys, Paul & Sahib, were very friendly and extremely helpful. They even moved an existing chair out of the way into the garage for me, which was above and beyond. Paul then explained all the controls very clearly. A 5-star service by a great company who have been very helpful throughout the process.

I am very pleased with the service. I was kept up to date about my delivery and was contacted on the day, giving me an arrival time. The scooter looks great, and I am looking forward to my first ride once it has been charged up.

The chair arrived earlier than expected. Delivery men were excellent and very helpful. They set up my new chair and went through the directions on how to use it. Saw Jason in the showroom. He was very helpful and did not pressure us in any way. Carefully explained everything we wanted to know. Scooter and other items arrived in 2 days. Unfortunately, there was a problem reassembling the scooter rear. Went back to the showroom and Albert checked it out, and advised that, unfortunately, there was a problem and pointed us to the number to contact. We rang and were dealt with politely and efficiently. An engineer brought a pre-assembled replacement scooter and checked the original. He confirmed that, unfortunately, there was a fault and was able to leave the replacement. He went through the assembly process with me, making sure I was happy with it. He took away the faulty scooter along with all the original packaging. Overall, a fantastic service. We are so pleased that we are taking my mother-in-law to get one also this weekend.

When we visited the Care Co Showroom in Exeter, the salesperson, Lesley, was very efficient and very patient with us. Demonstrating all the different recliner chairs. The after-sales delivery was very prompt and professional. The delivery team were very polite, efficient and thorough, assembling and demonstrating all 4 chairs working and explaining the controls in detail.

I visited the showroom in Hawley and was impressed by how quickly the salesman found two chairs that he thought would suit me best - and one was their cheapest chair. There was no pressure to buy, but I was happy to place an order. Delivery was arranged within a fortnight and the fitters worked quickly and efficiently to set up my new chair and to ensure understood how it works. The people I have dealt with have made it a pleasure to buy from them, and I am not surprised to have overheard a customer in the shop say he had come back to buy more equipment after the excellent service he had previously received. All staff members were very helpful and pleasant, from the showroom staff to the delivery staff. Slight problem with delivery as the sofa would not fit through the door. This issue was resolved quickly and efficiently by Paul & Sahib. Excellent service

Ordered a recliner on 16th Oct. I was kept informed along the way about delivery, etc. Two super chaps, Bailey and Ross, delivered my order and gave a clear demonstration of the working mechanics of the chair. Really pleasant and helpful guys, and they even listened to me babble on about some of my artwork! Also impressed that they actually found me; my flat can be tricky to find, but these guys nailed it. from start to finish whilst ordering the new chair the sales person we spoke to Alfie Adam’s was very helpful in placing the order it only took about 3 weeks for the chair to arrive the 2 engineers who came to install the new chair were fantastic very helpful in demonstrating how the chair works we also had a friendly conversation with them as well the product is very good we also took out the 5yr warranty on the new chair as well which gives my mam peace of mind so if anything goes wrong with the chair they’ll come out straight away to fix it and if it wasn’t fixable they’ll replace it no problem

I need to call out managed delivery guys Paul & Paddy who let me know when they were coming and arrived as indicated. Installing the riser/recliner was no trouble for them even though they had to work around stairs and narrow doorways. They set it up, demonstrated how it worked and cleared everything away in no time at all. There was no inconvenience and they were both courteous and efficient and wonderful ambassadors for CareCo.

I’ve bought a two seater sofa and two matching petite armchairs. Delivery men (Paul & Sul) called 20 minutes before arrival, were courteous and pleasant. Sofas were put together and arranged exactly as I wanted, the paperwork was explained and all rubbish removed. Very happy with my purchase as they are comfortable, it’s easy to get up from them and they look great.

Grey plaid Blenheim Dual motor riser, ordered for my elderly Mum. She is really happy with it and it is far superior to her previous one. The back support is firm but not too firm. Easy to use controls and the rise function is excellent as she has been struggling to get up and down now to being frail. My older sister has her eye on one now as well! Delivery was simple and efficient with friendly delivery staff Paul and Sahib who went through the controls etc.

Purchased for my elderly mother from the Coventry store. The advisor Mariam was very helpful and patient. The scooter was delivered today as agreed and fully explained by the delivery team. I was kept upto date via email on everything. Very happy with the service.

Phil and Justin came to deliver my riser recliner this morning. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way and they had already been informed about my flat being on the 3rd floor. They were friendly, asked my name and told me their names. They were careful with the chair and with my property and made sure I knew how to work everything before they left. They took all the rubbish away with them. I was very happy with their service.

This is my first purchase from careco and my first (and hopefully last) riser recliner. We visited our local showroom after visiting the website to test the chairs out and Natasha was there to greet us and help us with all our needs. We went away to think then called up the showroom to place the order and within 2 weeks the chair was delivered. It meets all my expectations. The delivery team were very friendly and patient. The chair itself is of excellent quality and value. Would highly recommend.

My first experience with CareCo was when visiting their showroom a few weeks ago. It was a totally different experience to my visit to their main competitors and has cemented my choice of suppliers. I visited their showroom twice before deciding on the type and style of riser / recliner chair and the staff on both occasions could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of delivery I was pleasantly surprised to see it was delivered in two specially made carry bags and assembled inside the house. Once assembled, it was maneuvered to the desired locations and I was given detailed instruction on the use of the chair. I could not have asked for more from the delivery guys. Since using it for a few days I have become very comfortable with the chair and am delighted with the features.

I never knew you could be fitted for a chair, which was done at the showroom with great tact and diplomacy. I was contacted for delivery last week and we sorted it out for today. On 5th November 2025 we stepped into Care Co's showroom in Bristol and found to our delight a wide range of riser recliner chairs. Gareth greeted us and established what we were looking for. He showed us those in the range that would suit our needs and left us to try them out in our own time. He came back and answered all our questions, in a thoroughly knowledgeable way. We were with him for about two hours. When we left to go for lunch he was not pushy in any way and expected us to take time to think about our purchase. Returning an hour so later we were greeted like old friends and again told to take our time making up our minds, choosing colours and that which fitted each of us correctly. Another hour or so and we ordered two different chairs, one for each of our needs... Upon delivery of the first chair, Jack and Stevan carefully unloaded it from the van and put it on a trolley to transport it down the sideway to the rear of the house and then lifted through the patio door and unwrapped it from its "raincoat".(very well covered and protected) They assembled the chair and Stevan demonstrated how it all works and put it in its new home, whilst Jack gathered up all the wrapping and put it in the van. Both of them were very happy in their work and answered all our questions. As a company Care Co. appears to excel in their customer service.

After seeing the CareCo advertisement on TV I decided to look them up. Discovering a great selection of seating I decided on the Wentworth fireside chair. Ordering was simple and straightforward. Chair was delivered when expected by friendly, helpful Dave and Mick who rung half an hour before delivery as promised, Good work chaps! We recently ordered a riser/recliner chair from Care Co in Canterbury. The showroom staff were extremely helpful in making sure that we ordered a chair that was suitable for my wife and would fit within our home. The chair was delivered and assembled yesterday by Graham and Bailey. They were fantastic; polite, professional and extremely friendly. They arrived on time, were extremely neat and tidy, and made sure that the chair was positioned exactly were my wife wanted it. They then explained, in detail, exactly how the chair worked and only left when they were sure everything was OK. Well done and thank you.

I bought an Abilize Ranger Li to enable me to give our border terrier, Rosie, long walks. Osteoarthritis prevents that otherwise. I am absolutely delighted with the scooter. It gives a smooth ride on our uneven pavements and the mirrors give me a very clear rear view to avoid Rosie being surprised by other dogs coming up behind us. Controlling the scooter is very simple and it is really comfortable. I was also delighted with the home delivery and set-up process. It was done by very helpful people, at the expected time, and no packaging was left behind. It's also worth pointing out that I had gone to CareCo's nearest showroom (on a Sunday) and was given plenty of time to test drive 3 different models of scooter that met my needs. That included driving outside. The staff were very helpful and I was able to make my own choice.

First delivery was chair installed with utmost care and drivers very pleasant then went back on 17thOctober to order settee to match. This was delivered within the time specified. the drivers who installed (Shaun and Paul) were very careful, tested everything and were very efficient. Excellent service and would recommend to anyone. Also on visiting the Store Hannah and Shai were very helpful, you were made to feel very comfortable.

What a team! Arrived at exactly the time we were advised they wood, parked the van sensibly out of the way of other road users, delivery men, Tim & Stuart introduced themselves ‘ confirmed the item to be delivered. Assembled chair including the extra covers ordered and care kit. Demonstrated how to use the chairs remote control and then cleared all the packaging away, leaving the property exactly as it was prior to arrival but ensuring chair was located in the correct position for use. Careco are fortunate to employ such professional and conscientious workers. Thank you.
