Absolutely disgusted with the service.

I had previously been a long standing customer with no issues. Annual boiler service was done on the 13th Sep and everything seemed fine. On the weekend of the 14th Oct the heating was put on for the first time and it became apparent that there was an issue with the pressure. Called them and an appointment was made for the 20th Oct. Chap turned up was there for 10 mins and said that we needed a new pressure release valve !!! Carshalton Boilers tried to charge me £100.00 for this despite the boiler being serviced 5 weeks previously !! Same chap came round on the 27th Oct and declared that there was also a crack in the flue and the boiler could not be used at all. When we asked why these issues were not picked up during the service, he got very defensive and aggressive saying "it's not my fault" and walked out. It's very convenient that this has only happened after the warranty had expired. Over the weekend the controller is now telling me there is a fan fault !! Called then on Monday to advise the latest problem, to be told that I was better off contacting Ideal boilers direct and they washed their hands of the whole problem. Totally disgusted with their so called customer service. DO NOT use this company under any circumstances.

Highly professional and skilled boiler replacement

After a disaster with my 16-year-old boiler, Carshalton Boilers were recommended to me by friends to quote for installing a new one fairly urgently. Jackie managed to get me an appointment for their surveyor, Paul Harvey, to visit within just a couple of days. I was so impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness and knowledge that I immediately cancelled an appointment I had made with another contractor. My preferred boiler was sourced, and a three-day installation date was fixed for two weeks later. Installing a new boiler, flue, controls, pump, filter, valves etc was always going to involve considerable disruption throughout the house, so I was very pleasantly surprised by the consideration shown to me by the highly experienced and skilled installation engineer, Ashley, as he quietly and professionally tackled the numerous stages of his task. I was also grateful to the very experienced electrician, John, who found ingenious ways of overcoming the inevitable complications, with minimal disturbance to my decor. A brilliant job was completed tidily, considerately, on time and on budget, and I could not be more pleased.

My central heating system broke down the Saturday afternoon before Christmas. Called Carshalton Boilers and left a message on their answerphone. I was concerned that I would be left without any heating over the holiday period. Had a call back the next day and an engineer arrived on the Monday. He replaced the broken part and the system was up and running again within an hour. You can't ask for a more professional service than that.

Removed old boiler, installed completely new system - Worcester Bosch boiler, gas supply, hot water & heating system, 2 additional radiators.

Efficient and experienced installers, James and Paul (electrician), provided very good service. Friendly and very willing to discuss all technical questions. Quality of work was high. Solved new pipe run problems, and installed with minimum disturbance to fabric and décor. Great result, great service.

I was very pleased with the work carried out. Namely, a new boiler and radiators. Also new bath mixer taps, a shower and shower rail. James, Josh and Josh were all punctual, courteous, tidy and efficient. Very pleased and would use the company again.

My 30 year old boiler failed 2 weeks before hosting the bride's party before a wedding (no heating or hot water - help!). Carshalton Boiler Services pulled out all the stops to install a new boiler and control gear in time for the wedding. I was kept informed at all times and the customer service was great - queries were answered in a timely manner. Financial details were handled professionally and everybody we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The whole job (including draining and flushing the system) was completed in two and a half days. The plumber could not have been more helpful and friendly and took on board the urgency of the whole situation - including working extra hours where required. Basically they did what they said they would, when they said they would and at the price that we agreed. I could not be happier (or more grateful).
