I’m very impressed with Ceiba Renewables as a company. I spent a long time researching solar panels and storage batteries. I had originally contacted another company based in Edinburgh to discuss a solar installation and I was very disappointed with their design. I then contacted Ceiba Renewables and it was like a breath of fresh air. The Designer at Ceiba took the time to listen to my requirements and arranged a site survey. The solar panels and battery recommended were completely aligned with my expectations. I wanted quality, high efficiency panels with an excellent warranty, and the same level of quality and warranty with the battery storage system. I was very impressed with the micro-inverters and related gateway that were suggested in the design, too. I am also very pleased with the delivery of the system. The quality of workmanship and the attention to detail is wonderful to behold. I have quite high expectations for quality workmanship and I’m pleased to say that my expectations were exceeded. That is a rare occurrence for me to say that! Everyone in the Ceiba Team is easy to work with. The project management was excellent and I just received the handover documentation, which was comprehensive. Ceiba Renewables is a top notch, quality focused outfit. I recommend them without hesitation.

From initial engagement through to installation of the system Ceiba Renewables provided an excellent service, always responsive, clear communication and the installation team were first class. Quality products and quality people, we have no hesitation recommending their services.

Communication was excellent from day one with regular updates. They were open and honest and managed expectations re install dates. Simon discussed all aspects of the install and even saved money from the original quote by suggesting i could switch to the standard Enphase gateway as the energy monitoring would be done by the Tesla gateway once the powerwall was installed. He also sorted out my untidy and potentially dangerous EV charger install. That's proper service and not someone there just doing a job but taking pride in their work and a genuine interest in their customer. A few weeks after install, a couple of panels failed due to a firmware issue with the built in microinverters (sunpower maxeon panels with enphase microinverters). This was resolved without issue and replacements were ordered and installed quickly. I initially contacted a few providers for quotes and while, on paper, Ceiba may not have been the cheapest, it is important to look at exactly what you are getting for your money and compare like for like. Not all panels and batteries are equal and so I was very happy with the overall cost of my system particularly factoring in the service received and the peace of mind afforded by the lengthy warranties. Every member of the team was friendly and professional. From the sales consultant/planner, admin team, scaffolders and electricians. I was delighted with every apsect and would have no hesitation recommending Ceiba to anyone.

What a brilliant experience from start to finish. East step was explained to us throughout the process from planning to installation. Very neat work and no mess to clear up. Very knowledgeable about the Powerwall. App shown to us and explained how to use. Would certainly recommend this company.

The team of engineers from Ceiba renewables are professionals. Simon and Mark did excellent job installing the Tesla power wall battery .They explained the whole process before and after installation and everything neatly done. They know their onions. Will recommend. Also starting from placing order Duncan ,Gemma, Romina and Farisa are all amazing .

Stage 2 of Solar PV system, and it was time for the battery installation. Having used Ceiba for the Solar panel installation I was more than happy to have them return to install the battery. Their Project Manager, Romina, contacted me about a week beforehand just to reconfirm that the date and time still suited me and to give me an expected time of arrival for the team. And as per the confirmation, the team, Simon, turned up as agreed. Prior to starting they chatted through what their plan was for the installation, explained that there would be a short power outage when they came to connect everything together and would give me plenty notice. Sometimes its just these little things that can make all the difference. The installation went smoothly and at each stage of the install Simon cleaned up as he went and when finished made sure I was happy with the installation. Simon then talked me through the intricacies of the install and ensured that I had all the information I needed to manage the system (App installed on phone, logged in and working correctly). When I am ready for Stage 3 I will definitely be using Ceiba Renewables.

We hadn't heard of Ceiba before considering Solar and battery storage. However, Duncan proved to be highly knowledgeable in all of the technical aspects of the product, much moreso than other 'sales' people from other companies. The panels, microinverters and Tesla battery supplied by Ceiba are of higher quality and spec. than other companies which obviously make the price more expensive but we believe you get what you pay for. The installation process was fully explained to us by Duncan and we accepted that the battery installation would be delayed due to supply and demand issues with Tesla. Communication was excellent via Romina regarding the actual installation dates and we are delighted with the operation, performance and aesthetics of the panels on our roof.

I have used Ceiba renewables twice. They fit 13 solar panels November 2021 and they have just installed a Tesla power wall. On both occasions they proved to be brilliant. The before sales and most importantly for me after sales is excellent. After new technology is fitted I always take a while to adjust. Ceiba renewables are there checking everything is working and helping you navigate the app. They arrive on time, are the cleanest workmen I have ever come across, everyone is polite and helpful including the people onsite and the off site office team. They are highly recommended. After fitting my solar panels I would never have gone with another company. They only fit good products and know how to do it.

Ceiba just completed the installation of our 10 solar PV panels and the Tesla Powerwall and Gateway. The whole experience from the outset was thoroughly professional , from the initial enquiry until the completion of the installation. We initially chose to contact them because they were recommended by Which, and they lived up to the high standard we were led to expect. There were some issues at our end about scheduling the installation, but Ceiba were very accommodating. All the guys who did the installation were very helpful and knowledgeable, including Chris the roofer and Simon and Douglas who installed and commissioned the Powerwall and Gateway, and who were very keen to explain the installation and operation of the system, and the setting up of the app. Romina and Gemma have both also been very helpful in sorting out the installation dates, payment arrangements etc. The cost of the system may have been a but higher than you could find elsewhere, but I believe that Ceiba have given us a high quality product and great service representing very good value. Overall, we are very pleased with the whole experience, and would certainly recommend - in fact have already done so.

Ceiba Renewables have just completed the installation of 14 Sunpower Max6 Solar Panels with Enphase and a Zappi EV Charger. Ceiba Renewables is an excellent company to deal with. Duncan carried out the survey, and it was clear from the outset that he is knowledgeable and passionate about his work. The information and communication has been excellent with special mention of Romina and Gemma. Chris and his team of roofers started the installation and this was then completed by Mark the electrician assisted by Andrew. All members of the team worked diligently, efficiently and left no mess behind. Again the communication was excellent from the installation team. All were very polite, friendly and helpful. I am delighted with the outcome and would be happy to recommend this company.

The Ceiba team installed my Tesla Powerwall having installed solar panels in February 2022 and as ever the service was excellent. The preparation from the office team in advance was detailed and very clear. The onsite team were friendly, polite and very tidy. Simon also sorted out some issues on my consumer board, a result of a rogue electrician not doing his job properly (which he also did the first time he visited!). The advice on setup was excellent as always and I would highly recommend the Ceiba team for high quality, technically excellent service.

Ceiba installed 30 solar panels, two Tesla Powerwalls, and a Zappi charger together with all the ancillary equipment, for us at a remote location in Argyll. Notwithstanding some pretty challenging weather, travel and site conditions, everything was done in a thoroughly professional and tidy manner. The team were well prepared and went the extra mile to ensure the job was completed on time and within budget. Communications with Ceiba have been prompt and helpful both pre- and post- install.

I cannot rate Ceiba highly enough. From the very first contact to completion… just the very best people to be dealing with! ( oooh and just as an aside , every home should have a Tesla battery installed by bills have reduced by about 80% …. Might be a lot different in winter though ?) Anyway Ceiba are highly recommend!

Some years ago I moved into a house with an existing solar array and recently chose to add a battery to the setup. After looking around and making a lot of enquiries I found Ceiba, and I'm so glad I did. From the time of my first enquiry to the weeks following the installation of my Tesla Powerwall Ceiba have been nothing but excellent. The office team are often the unsung heroes of a good service company and that's very much the case with Ceiba. Add to this the expertise, courtesy and efficiency of the engineering team and it makes for an outstanding company. Ceiba had a number of online information / Q&A sessions which were really helpful, and I also had two video calls with their team prior to the install. I'm in Fort William so that made like easier all round. The install itself proved to be more tricky than first thought because of the difficulty of finding a suitable place for the earth-rod, but they persevered and found a spot, though it meant more work for them and a lot of digging up of the garden. It's to their great credit that they filled and covered the required channel such that there's no evidence of it at all. All in all, it was one of the best experiences with a trade that I've ever had. I've had two follow ups from them as well, which was much appreciated. If you have any doubts about Ceiba - just go ahead and book them in!

We had a 10-panel solar array + battery installed and had a great experience with Ceiba. They were thorough, knowledgable and fast. We also chose them as the panels they use are more efficient and ethically sourced than other companies we looked into.

Ceiba installed solar panels and a powerwall on our 1980s house.It was done in the planned time-frame and very neatly installed. The panels and powerwall look like top-quality hardware. They helped me get the Tesla app up and running on my 'phone and checked our Myenergi car charger was integrated into the system. Just a week in now but it all seems to be working perfectly without us having to think about it and I feel confident I could call them if I have any questions or difficulties. Their staff were polite efficient and approachable. Post job they have sent me a well-organised pack with all the warranty details partially completed by them therefore making it easy for me to add my info. and take the final steps I need to register. Very glad we found Ceiba for this project and have no hesitation in recommending them. They will install good kit in the proper fashion.

I had 5.2kWhp solar PV and Tesla Powerwall 2 installed by Ceiba. I had quotes from various other suppliers but none offered the level of detail in specifications or the number of options that Ceiba offered. The install is very professional. All wiring is neat and a complete system diagram was provided. The system has performed better than expected. In the 2 months that it has been in place it has generated 1200kWh and we have used almost no power from the grid. Very happy with the quality of the work and the system. Whenever anyone asks about the solar panels I make a point of mentioning how good the install is and I highly recommend Ceiba for anyone considering a solar system.

Really pleased with both customer support and the installation by Ceiba. From the discussion of what we wanted & could do, to the installation and after install support they have been excellent.

We decided that the time was right to invest in a solar PV system with a battery back up, several quotes were obtained and I must admit to being perplexed at the variety of systems and advice. Duncan at Ceiba was on holiday when I made contact however Lucy sent me a questionaire to complete with the promise that Duncan would come back to me on his return. After speaking with some of the other installers I had quotes from, they seemed to be less inclined to go into detail and help me understand what I was buying. I then received a quote from Ceiba with proposed panel siting and numerous technical details followed up with a detailed discussion in my home with Duncan. Although his quote was at the top end of all the quotes and my budget, the attention to detail and professionalism showed to my case gave me a very good feeling. After a brief period of negotiation we agreed on a scope of work and a final price. We were kept up to date with proposed installation dates and even managed to jump the queue due to a cancellation (virus related). The guys appeared on time and did exactly what was agreed, the installation of the panels was completed on one day, thanks guys, and the Powerwall took a day on either side of this. All the installers showed great professionalism and an ethos to do the right job for the client. Overall I cannot say it was the cheapest but when you stand back and look at the complete package I feel Ceiba offer tremendous value for money.
