I went to Which to find a gas fitter and saw Celtic Plumbing and Heating and noted that I had used Richard before to service my gas fire and had posted a review on here saying how good he was. I asked him to come back today to service my gas fire again. Alas, it did not go well. He managed to arrive at a time when I said I would not be here. My wife found him unhelpful and discourteous. I later contacted him and he said he was too busy to come back and do the work. This was all very unsatisfactory so I cannot recommend him or Celtic for these reasons.

Jon was recommended by a friend, he came and took a look at old boiler as it was not working correctly cutting out leaving me no hot water. Jon gave me option on either try to have it repaired or new. I choose to have new, Jon gave a great competitive price. I felt comfortable enough to give Jon a key so I didn't need to take annual leave. Work completed fast and all paper work left with instruction, also if i didn't understand anything to ring him and he would pop round to show how everything worked. I would not hesitate recommend this company and use again.

I was recommended Celtic Plumbing through a friend and I am very impressed with their services. Richard conducts himself in a friendly and professional manner and has carried out the work to a high standard. Nothing is too much trouble and I really appreciate him going through the instructions in simple terms to ensure I understand how to use the boiler correctly, as well as reassuring me that I can call him at any time if I have any questions. I selected Celtic Plumbing for my short list because of their very good reviews. I was impressed, during his survey, with Richard's professional, no nonsense approach and his affable demeanor, not to mention his quotation (to fit a Combi boiler) which was the lowest of three. The team of three turned up at the promised time and got straight on with the job working non stop without a dinner break until they had got the boiler up and running at 6pm that day. They were careful to lay floor covering in the hall, stairs and landing before starting work and removed their footwear whilst in the house. They spent some time at the end of the day relaying carpets and cleaning up to leave everywhere very clean and tidy. All of the men were very pleasant chaps and did a fine job. A very professional team whom I can thoroughly recommend

I contacted Richard as a result of his very good reviews on Which Trusted Trader - he responded on the same day with a home visit and took great care to service our flueless wall mounted fire. He went into it much further than had been done on the last service and I was very pleased with the result. He took great care to put it back together and made a point of giving it a good and thorough clean. Frankly, I thought his call out fee of £65 was rather light given the time he took to complete the task. Thanks to Which for this very successful outcome. I would highly recommend Richard for any gas related work - he is clearly a highly skilled plumber as well.

Richard carried out a central heating servicing for me with efficiency and professionalism. He was helpful, kind and courteous throughout, which as an older person, I really appreciated. He has my full recommendation.

Richard and Paul aka Celtic Plumbing and Heating have this minute completed installation of new boiler. This has involved their relocating the coiler to the loft, thus vacating valuable cupboard space which my wife intends to fill. They have also fitted thermostatic radiator valves and removed two radiators that were superfluous to the needs of the bungalow. Excellent workmanship and very pleasant to deal with. Nice little touches like making sure that I fully understood how to operate the new system and very scrupulous in cleaning up afterwards and removing all of the rubbish. The parting words to me were "If you have any concerns at all please get in touch with us immediately." Like many people I have had some past poor experiences so I hope that my review will be of help to those who have had similar concerns. I totally recommend Celtic Plumbing and Heating and wish that I had found them years ago. Many thanks gentlemen for an excellent job and the willingness to provide future support to my heating system, for example servicing.

I had a problem with my central heating, in as much that when I turned on the water to heat alone, unfortunately the whole central heating also came on. After an initial problem of communication, when i undertstood that somone who answered the Mobile Number given in the advert, would arrive two days later at 3.30. By 4.00 pm no one had appeared so I rang again. for some reason i had not heard the day or time correctly. A new appointment was made for Friday 16, and I was asked if it could be changed for Saturday morning. In due course Richard arrived and disgnosed the problem to be a faulty actuator valve. He arranged to come on the following Monday ( to-day 19/06/17 gave me an estimate of £135 but asked rather strangely to be paid in cash rather than by cheque. The work was completed successfully, but Richard was rather reluctant to give me a company receipt. I therefore printed out a form for him to acknowledge that he had recieved the £135, which he duly signed. He also told me that I had a year's guarantee on the work undertaken.
