Charles was very quick to come and quote for a replacement door and furniture and also replacing some internal door handles. The new door (which he purchased for me) is excellent. He was thorough and gave me advice regarding varnishing. A really nice guy. I have recommended already.

Charles did a wonderful job installing my kitchen despite the need to remodel several units to fit my wonky room. The results are perfect and I whole-heartedly recommend him to handle any building or plumbing task. Always on time and a pleasure to have on site.

Having had a bad experience with another prospective "no-show" contractor, I thought I would try a Which Trusted Trader for a gutter replacement job. I phoned this company and discussed my needs. They agreed to come round the following day to have a look with a view to providing a quote. I said I would be in and they said they would phone to confirm the time. They didn't phone, they didn't come. I had wasted a day staying in. I am disappointed by this behavior, which sadly seems quite prevalent in the house repair industry. I am also disappointed by the Trusted Trader scheme. I can't understand the lack of decency or basic business common sense - a lot of work can come through personal recommendation. A simple phone call to say "sorry we won't be able to do that after all" would have been fine.

The repair to the kitchen ceiling was carried out as planned. The end result was remarkable. I would not hesitate to recommend Charles. A job well done.

Charles was referred to me through another Which Trusted Trader. He popped around straight away to check the water leak and do an initial diagnosis. We agreed a start date and Charles arrived and did all the investigations, cutting through the ceiling to access underneath the shower unit. The leak turned out to come from two places and required Charles to do a couple of visits, repairs and tests to fully resolve. Then the job was finished off with a lovely replastered ceiling. Really good communication, very thoughtful, and pleasant to work with. A true professional.

I purchased a new home at the start of lockdown. I wanted to have quite a lot done to the property and thought it would be difficult and stressful. I was extremely lucky to be introduced to Charles. He viewed the property with me and we discussed the initial work I wanted doing. His input as to what was needed and likely cost was invaluable, as was advice on sourcing materials. The project included building a garage, replacing all radiators and light switches and fittings, refurbishment of 3 showers, cupboards in the utility room and tiles in the kitchen. In addition to all this, Charles also helped with hanging pictures, building furniture, relaying outdoor steps and lights and fixing light shades. His work has throughout been to the highest standards. He is tidy and very pleasant to deal with. His attitude is can do. He has always communicated well on costs, timescale and available options. The project has been a pleasure.

We needed a completely new bathroom fitting, including shower and cabinet, tiling, new ceiling and wall insulation. As a customer, it couldn't have been any easier - completely trouble-free. Work was done to a high standard, any last-minute alterations accommodated without fuss and finished within the time estimated. Highly recommend.

Charles and his guys took out a wall and fitted my new kitchen, his work is flawless and all the way along the project Charles kept me up to date with what was going on. He kept my house clean and tidy and was worth every penny.
