My property when I bought it was a four-bedroom house which had had a ground floor extension previously to make the tiny kitchen more usable. That initial extension left a flat roof with all the problems that are often associated with it. I therefore applied to the council to have the property extended after living there for some time to eliminate the flat roof. I received several quotes and Henderson Construction was very competitive even though it was by no means the cheapest. I therefore decided to choose them even though I had no foreknowledge of them from the professional point of view. I was not disappointed. The team was very professional and gave my wife and I excellent service. They completed the work in a timely manner and their efficiency as well as the looks of my property at the end of their work left nothing to be desired. Indeed, the neighbours were keen to have their contact just in case they needed to carry out similar work. I engaged CHC to undertake the complete renovation of a severly neglected flat - including new kitchen and bathroom, new windows, new central heating system, replastering and painting walls and ceilings and installing new flooring throughout. CHC's quote included full project management of the renovation, which in my view was definitely worth paying for. I have a full-time job so the fact Henderson and his team were able to co-ordinate the works with minimal involvement from me was invaluable. At the initial site visit for the quotation, Henderson offered useful advice and recommendations, and this continued throughout the process. Communication throughout the renovation was quick and clear, and problems were raised promptly with reasonable solutions proposed. Any questions were answered properly, and photo updates were provided when requested. Big thanks to Chantelle who put up with lots of silly questions from me with professionalism and most importantly in this industry - complete honesty! I was very nervous about finding the right firm to do this work, but I am so thankful I chose CHC. The finished standard was exactly what I hoped for and the aftercare has been excellent too.

The building work which Charles Henderson Construction (CHC) was employed to convert a Garage which was attached to a semi-detached house to an Ensuite Bedroom, this included separate Toilet and Shower facilities and complete a New Fibreglass roof covering the existing Kitchen and Ensuite /Garage roofs and the tiling of the Toilet & Shower, the whole floor area. CHC teams were very considerate with facilities at the home in maintain the home by laying the necessary protection covering the carpets, and in front of the home laid boards to prevent any damage to the outside driveway before skips arrived. The Budgeted amount agreed for the work which was quoted did not change from start to completion. During the build Invoicing was done after completion of each stage of the work, and the final amount was presented after all the different agencies after completion. I had no concerns, and in all that time work was going to plan. The whole experience of employing CHC was very good with only one or two issues, and whenever this was brought to the attention of CHC, these were fixed without any fuss or problem. I can certainly recommend CHC as a builder who respect the Customer property and working areas, ensuring that the build was made on time and to Budget. After each day’s work, the team ensured that the building was secure on completion of each working day. On completion of the conversion a beautiful new room(s) was created by CHC and his staff. New open plan kitchen Henderson came highly recommended to me, and I can highly recommend his company to you. I wanted my ground floor (small kitchen, hallway, living room) opened up to give us more space. I relied on Henderson’s advice for a new open plan kitchen and living area. He advised us on the best use of the space we had available, and his advice was spot on. The CHC team are highly skilled professionals. They worked extremely hard for us and to a very high standard. Their attention to detail was excellent. They were always punctual and polite, and were fun to have around. Any unforeseen obstacles were swiftly figured out and sorted. Henderson visited our house throughout this project, he was easily contactable, and was always on top of the project. The finished work was perfect. CHC did the rebuilding work in our kitchen and made a small utility room and ground floor toilet for us in our home in West Ealing. between April 2023 and June 2023. The owner of the company, Henderson, project managed the works. He made frequent visits to the site ensuring that the work was completed correctly. As a project manager Henderson was extremely personable, caring and understanding. Early on in the work there was a possible structural difficulty. Henderson took the issue extremely seriously, was very careful to sort it out and he sought advice from his structural engineer before taking any action. He kept us informed about all of this process. We really appreciated his careful, considered and calm approach to this issue. All the team working for the company were quiet, respectful and efficient, producing work of very good quality. We are happy to recommend CHC and will use them again if need be in the future. Esther and I just wanted to express our extreme pleasure with the completion of the new rear extension to our house to accommodate our new kitchen. Also, modifications to our existing kitchen space to a bathroom and utility room. Charles Henderson Construction delivered a first class product. From our first meeting with Henderson, he came across as being trustworthy and sincere in his commitment to producing a finished product that we would be very pleased with. His communication skills were very noticeable in the way he offered constructive alternatives to our original plans, which we found very helpful and therefore accepted. Henderson was on site very frequently demonstrating his site management skills in coordinating the different trades at the site. He exhibited his knowledge of the different trades when we asked questions. His workmen were very professional and vacated the site leaving it in a clean state at the end of the day. Our family and friends were very impressed with our new extension and the way in which our previous kitchen was converted into a comfortable bathroom and utility room. The finished layout was all Henderson's alternative design suggestion which we were happy that we accepted. I recently engaged Charles Henderson Construction for a major refurbishment of a large 4-bedroom maisonette in Harlesden. Henderson and his team worked diligently and steadily throughout the 4-months, delivering a well-built and superbly finished product. Henderson is a master builder who will add great value to any building project. His knowledge of the industry is unrivalled, and his project management skills are superb. When you engage CHC you will not only get an excellent Contractor but a project manager (Henderson) who will look after your property and budget like it’s his own, from the design phase through to post-handover. The attention to detail and long-term view regarding quality and maintenance is something I was particularly impressed with. CHC work is covered by a 10-year structural warranty and Henderson has been quick to remedy any inevitable teething issues that arise post-construction. I have used many different builders over the years, and I must say Henderson has proven to be the most knowledgeable and professional by some measure. I would have no hesitation in using CHC again and recommending them to anyone embarking on a Construction project; big or small.

Henderson and his team have done a great job in rebuilding our kitchen. He is an experienced and honest builder and was able to advise us well. His team worked very hard and their standard of work was excellent. A few tiny ‘snags’ were swiftly sorted and the overall result we couldn’t be happier with. We had chimney breast removed, back wall of the house rebuilt, and a door cut through another wall, floor dug out and rebuilt, new ceiling, lighting etc. Security was well maintained and mess was kept to a minimum. Henderson himself visited the site every day and was pleasant, polite and knowledgeable at all times. We had separate kitchen fitter/designers, and they worked well together. From the outset we were impressed by Henderson’s approach - business like, professional and trustworthy. This was a big project for us which is why we turned to Which Trusted Traders - and we are so pleased we chose CHC.
