We are very pleased with the work done by Cheam Plastering. The work involved boarding and plastering a ceiling, and skimming all walls in our main bedroom. Communication beforehand was good, the work was done to budget, in the time stated, to a very high standard. The house and drive left as clean (if not cleaner) than before the work. Despite our letting the plasterers know that the carpet was to be changed full floor protection was put down and afterwards the carpet hoovered. Similarly protection was laid throughout the route through the house. We have had plastering work done three times in the past by other tradesmen: this was by far our best experience.

He and his colleague were both polite, punctual and tidy throughout the job itself. The work has only just be completed, but it looks good so far at addressing the issues with my property. John is not your stereotypical tradesman - he is an honest gent!

I can’t recommend John enough! He recently plastered our bedroom and I couldn’t be happier with the results. While working he also noticed we had some gutter issues, he offered helpful advice and even recommended someone who could take a proper look for us. That level of care is really appreciated. He was punctual, tidy and respectful of our home. We’ll definitely be calling John again for any future plastering - highly recommended!

John has carried out work for me on three different occasions: The first was on my mother's house where the rendering was crumbling away from the window frames. John did an amazing job transforming the house to it's former glory. The second occasion was installing coving in my hallway, landing and lounge. The third and more recent occasion was rectifying ceiling and wall cracks in readiness for painting. John is totally trustworthy, reliable, professional, dedicated, does excellent work, as well as being reasonably priced. I cannot fault his work and would recommend him to anyone.

John reconstructed the underlying support for an oriel window, applied new pebbledashing and then painted it to match the rest of the external wall. All this work was done to the agreed schedule and budget. Communication with John was efficient and prompt. I am very pleased with the work and would use the service again.

John from Cheam Plastering came round to fix some large cracks that we had in the render on the back of our house. He fixed where the cracks had extended into the brickwork below with various resins, glues and wire, then overlaid a scratch coat and finally a top render that also included lime. He was neat and tidy and kept us informed at all stages in the process, answering any questions that we had. All in all very pleasant to have around.

John came to look at the cracked rendering on my house walls and said that if it were his house, he would ask a painter to repair and paint, as the render is sound. He clearly knew what he was talking about, so he has saved me a lot of money. And he's also recommended a painter to me for the job. I shall take his advice very gratefully!

John and Jamie at Cheam Plastering have just completed the plastering of two rooms in our house and they have done a perfect job. They were so conscientious and a pleasure to have in the house for 4 days.
