Hi, I'm James Tutton. After serving in the British Army, I started Chelmsford Removals in 2007. What began with just an ad and a single van has grown substantially over 17 years. Now, we're a key player in home and commercial moves within the region.

Our company holds accreditation from the British Association of Removers and is a Which? Trusted Trader. We were also honoured with the Essex Business Excellence Award for Best Growing Small Business. Chelmsford Removals came nice and early. The removal men took great care in storing our furniture. They were very helpful, friendly & trustworthy. Would recommend the company to anyone. Very satisfied.

We sought out 3 quotes and the professionalism, comprehensiveness and lack of hidden extras left us anticipating Chelmsford removals would be far more expensive than all the others but still wanting to go with them. As it happened there was only £30 between all our quotes and Chelmsford wasn’t even the most expensive so it was a no brainer! We had the full pack service and moved on a Monday so they came on Saturday to pack us up and were prompt both days. All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They got on quickly and efficiently with everything. We had a delay waiting for the keys but they worked around us and there was no moaning or complaining at any point. They stayed until we were sorted and triple checked if we were happy with everything before leaving. No problems or breakages. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you.

So glad we chose Chelmsford Removals. Everything went like clockwork, the team were professional and nothing was too much trouble. No damage or problems at all, excellent considering we moved from a 4 story house with 3 flights of stairs, well done and thank you.

They arrived on time and reviewed all items in the house. Fortunately not much to move into the van from upstairs and most items were downstairs. All fragile items were packed in padded jackets e.g. china, cabinet and TV once van was packed it was then met by us at the new address. A bit of a wait but they were used to the system. Unloaded nice and quickly, put in the relevant places. Plenty of tea supplied and the guys worked really well together. Made a possible stressful time a piece of cake.
