Christian James Bathrooms And Kitchens

We are very happy with the work Christian has completed for us. He has fixed an unstable floor in the upstairs of our house. The work was completed on time, all done very well and properly tidied up afterwards. We have already engaged Christian for a larger project to renovate our bathroom. His attention to detail gives us great confidence that we will be happy with the result.

Our partial kitchen refurbishment was undertaken professionally and to a good standard with excellent and clear communication throughout (often a weak point with trades). Christian provided useful advice and prompt responses to questions, using his initiative and solving problems at all stages of the work. Will certainly recommend him to others.

Christian has done work for me several times over the past few years. He has fitted a utility room for me, repaired kitchen cupboards, refitted a shower and replaced bathroom tiles. Most recently he refitted some water damaged cupboards in my kitchen, he was incredibly helpful in suggesting what replacement bits of the cupboards I did and didn't need, which saved me quite a bit of money. He also repaired some broken tiles in my shower room and fitted a new shower basket. His work has always been of an excellent standard, completed on schedule and on budget.

Christian James took out my old kitchen, and installed a new one. My space is very small, Christian managed to get everything needed installed perfectly, making the kitchen easy for me to work in. His advice on lighting, flooring and other needs was just as needed for the area. Christian always left the area clean and tidy, was very careful with everything he handled . I am about to use Christian's services again for another job and look forward to an equally excellent finish.

Christian first attended to discuss the work and suggested some improvements which could be made on the old installation. He sent his quotation a few days later and we agreed the budget. He completed the work shortly afterwards efficiently and within budget. This is not the first job Christian has carried out for us and we have been very satisfied with his standards of execution, and his pleasant and helpful manner.

Christian is the consummate professional. He fitted a new kitchen for my mother, a widow in her eighties, and not only did he do a great job (as I know from previous work he's done for me), but my mother fully trusted Christian and often left him working by himself in her property. Christian also advised my mother on the finishing touches e.g. tile types/ colour etc which was very helpful.

Christian was recommended to us and we have been really pleased with the work that he has done. Always prompt and reliable and communicating if held up. Talked through illustrated options and solutions before providing reasonable quotations that he kept to. Kept work area clean and tidy and cleaned up afterwards very well. We would certainly recommend him and use him again.

Work requested. Remove Shower enclosure, replace shower tray and replace screens. I arranged all the above via email as I was concerned about a crack in the old tray and wanted a replacement asap. Christian always replied the same day and provided a thoroughly explained work schedule and quote. Recommended a decent shower tray to avoid the rubbish one installed 2 years ago. (should have gone to which trusted traders then) Christian's quote reflected what I had specified. Other quotes went above and beyond what I wanted, and reflected that in the price. Arrived on the date and time agreed. Clean, tidy and thorough in his work. Honest final invoice. Adjusted downward from original quote. No negatives at all.

Christian has recently transformed the ‘half-finished’ kitchen that we inherited when we purchased our house in November 2022. Not only did he fit units in our large, empty utility room beautifully, add units to the existing ones in the kitchen and make useful suggestions, but he also removed laminate flooring in both areas and laid ceramic tiles expertly throughout. He has an attention to detail that is impressive; a large island, integrated appliances & free-standing ones were moved and then put back in place so that no corners were cut. We cannot praise his work highly enough. He is also utterly reliable, turns up on time, according to what has been agreed and cleans up afterwards. We are absolutely delighted with his work and recommend him unreservedly.
