Best plumbing service I have ever used! Contacted by phone and answered straight away. Really helpful on the phone and gave me initial advice on what to do with a blocked kitchen sink. Arranged for a plumber to come out and fix it when I couldn’t do it myself. Alex arrived on time and was really polite and friendly. Cleared the blocked pipe and fixed the leak in hardly any time at all. Wore a mask the whole time so Covid safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company, I use them for anything plumbing or boiler related. They are friendly and punctual and always seem to go above and beyond to get things sorted in the most effective way possible for the customer. I trust them not to overcharge me for things that don’t need doing and they are always honest and open about what the problem is, the solution and the costs involved. 10/10 i recommend them to everyone.

We have had this leak under the bath for some time. We needed the work carried out before the end of the week due to going on holiday. Despite the short notice they were able to accommodate our request. The original quote involved removing the bath, but Martyn the engineer managed to cut out the floor board under the bath and effect the repair without removal. This saved us considerable costs and disruption, we are very happy.

Came out at short notice to install a toilet (I supplied). Minor issue with the install which the plumber followed up on and fixed the following day. Very happy with the result. Not the cheapest - but you get what you pay for.

This is the second annual service that Christopher Plumbing Services have carried out on our boiler (which they installed in 2022). We have also employed them on other jobs in the past. As always, they were quick to respond, carried out the work on time and on budget, and supplied the relevant certification. They leave the worksite clean and tidy and are always willing to advise on matters outside the actual job.

Christopher responded to my e-mail on the same day as I requested a quote to fit a new shower mixer. By arrangement, the plumber visited the next day to survey the bathroom and existing plumbing arrangements and an estimate of time to carry out the work and cost. The plumber arrived promptly at a time agreed and fitted the new mixer without any disruption or mess. The cost was reasonable.

I first used Christopher's to fix a kitchen tap in a rented property I own. I got a quick response and detailed estimate of costs and the job was done quickly and well. I then requested an estimate for a new bathroom including replacing the shower with a bath and shower. Again I was given a comprehensive estimate of costs of labour and bathroom suite. A date was agreed for the work and started on time. Brian worked on his own for several days dismantling the old suite and taking down one tiled wall. A new suite was installed. No mess left each evening and every effort was not to inconvenience the 2 tenants. During the whole process any queries I had were dealt quickly and comprehensibly by Chloe their office manager. There was a minimum number of snags which were dealt with the same week. At the end the whole cost came in under budget so I received a refund. I would use them again and also use them to do work on my house. A pleasure to do business with.

Problem was a leak under sink in awkward place. Plumber arrived on time, explained issue well and fixed it quickly at agreed price. Excellent service.

Excellent customer service and quality of work. We were kept informed at all stages and the work was completed on the agreed dates. Staff were courteous, tidy and on time. Response for quotes was quick and the end bill was accurate. Highly recommended and will use them again.

We called Christopher Plumbing for assistance as our central heating had stopped working. The circumstances were discussed in the initial call and we were talked through some things we could do. Within five minutes our heating had sprung into life!! We suspected the problem was fairly simple and indeed it was. From past experience, we know other companies would not have been so “sympathetic” to our circumstances but our call to Christopher Plumbing was handled in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner. We shall certainly be using this company for any future plumbing issues and cannot recommend them highly enough. I had no idea there were batteries in our thermostat on the wall!!

Chris replaced our leaking bath mixer tap for us. He arrived on time, the tap was replaced successfully, and the bathroom left tidy. The amount we were charged was reasonable for the job undertaken, and Chris was clear on rates when we initially contacted him. Would definitely use this plumber again.

New boiler installation. The engineer was punctual, professional and polite. I was kept informed of progress at every stage so no nasty surprises, certificate and guarantee issued very promptly after completion. Very good value, highly recommended.

I have used Christopher’s Plumbing for a number of years. They are so responsive, professional and really care about their work and you. They are respectful of your home and time. Many times I have asked their advice about best course of action (ie replace vs repair) and I would trust them 100%. They have done everything from a drip to a boiler replacement. I cannot recommend highly enough. I had used British Gas Homecare previously and my experience with Christopher’s Plumbing was so remarkably amazing compared to BG. You will not regret giving them a call.

Brian arrived at the agreed time. The leak was believed to be behind the washing machine but because of the way it was fitted, took ages to get away from the wall. Once out, a leak was obvious but finding it would not be easy. Brian spent a lot of time, carefully examining every option. All the pipes behind the machine were removed and checked. They were full of waste and were thought to be the cause. All cleaned and replaced along with a longer hose. The machine was run and found to be in perfect working order. The level of service was excellent, everything explained as it was done and included a couple of tips to make any future movement of the machine easier. The bill was a fair representation of the work done and I was very pleased with the overall service from start to finish.

We were very impressed with the quality of work that Mike completed. The boiler installation and all other work was completed to such a high standard. He was also very polite, professional as well as being respectful of our home. He also did a great job tidying up. The standard of customer service we've experienced has been consistently high. We have used Christopher Plumbing for domestic plumbing, including annual service of our gas boiler, for over five years. I have used CPS a handful of times. Most recently to replace a conventional boiler and hot water cylinder. As I am accustomed to, Christopher and Craig are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They offer plenty of detail and comment on the options available and are always timely in communication and professional in dealing with my tenants.
