I’ve been using this company for a few years now. Turned up on time and advised what work was necessary. Capped off gas supply to gas fire. Installed 2 new carbon monoxide detectors and carried out landlord safety inspection on boiler and gas hob.

I’ve used this company for the last four years to service my Ideal boiler, and have always been impressed by the quality of service they provide. Their work is thorough, reliable and their customer service is excellent.

Two jobs were done, one needed, the other seemingly not. On the latter, sporadic CH noises were basically put down by this company to an old TRV, which they replaced. In fact, the job size for the overall work had been overestimated - a convenient drainage option was quickly discovered when the workers came, but though I asked, no invoice reduction was allowed - "that's not how it works". Anyway, the TRV did not solve the problem, and we still must adjust TRVs when the booming noises begin in the system. So, we're dissatisfied somewhat by job analysis & pricing.

Clifford Heating arrived on time for the quotation. I was impressed with their attitude and knowledge. I had done considerable research into products. They were thorough and informative in discussion. I chose the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000 and this installer who could offer the extended 10 year guarantee. During the installation I was consulted about rectifying a problem from the previous installation and improvements made. Jonathan was fastidious and considerate. Everything was left clean and tidy by the predicted time. After 13 months and the first annual service, I am very pleased with the boiler, the installation, servicing and everything about it. Clifford heating and the boiler have performed faultlessly. I have recommend Clifford Heating to anyone who asked.

Clifford Heating had carried out the 2 previous services on my 34-year-old boiler before it started making groaning noises. Anthony had a look at it and said it wasn't dangerous, just very old and tired. I decided then it needed replacing, so discussed the type of boiler and installation requirements, and agreed a Vaillant system boiler would be best with a replacement pump and filter and a full system flush. I received a good quote for the whole job and agreed a date for installation. Anthony, Jonathon and Johnnie arrived bang on time and got straight on with the job, always checking with me if clarification was required on where things went. They resolved some plumbing and electrical faults discovered from the original installation and also fitted an external loop and pressure gauge in my airing cupboard so I wouldn't need to climb into the loft if the system needed to be re-pressurised. It was a very cold day so I kept them topped up with hot drinks. After installation, all radiators were balanced and programmer set with the times I requested, and everything was left tidy. The whole process was completed by 19.30, a long day, and everything working perfectly. Everything had been fitted with great expertise and care for my property, and with an eye to ensure the end result looked right. Extremely pleased with all aspects of the job and all three guys were very polite and friendly. Highly recommended.
