On Thursday 8/11/2023 I telephoned Dave (It was only later that I learnt his name), of Climate Control to ask if he could repair a leaking tap in my kitchen. His response without hesitation was to say that he would send a technician to me that afternoon. The technician arrived promptly at 2.00pm and within a few minutes had found the source of the leak, and had repaired it with a new better tap connection. I used the opportunity to ask if he could repair a similar Bath basin tap. He agreed to come back on the following Tuesday (14/11/2023) and again within a half hour had replaced the offending tap. My first impressions, of Dave and his company, was his helpfulness, meeting my problem head on (and for an old Pensioner nearing my 90years) this took a great weight off my shoulder) The cost of the 2 jobs was very reasonable, considering the promptness of the response to my predicament I would not hesitate in calling on his company for service and advice in any future problems

Following installation of a smart gas meter by another company working for Octopus we were told that we had a leak somewhere in the house, that it was dangerous and that the supply had to be turned off at the new meter. We were therefore without central heating or the gas fire just when another cold snap was on the way! We found Climate (Cardiff) Ltd, on Which Trusted Trader, and they came promptly the following day, very quickly identified the problem as the shut off valve associated with the pilot light on our boiler and fixed it. So, we were highly satisfied with Climate's promptness and their sensible and re-assuring approach to the problem. So impressed are we that we have asked them to quote for renewing our ancient boiler. Well done and thanks to Dave and his colleague.

We had a boiler emergency whereby our boiler was considered dangerous and condemned during an assessment on the 8th November. This was a grave concern as we have a baby in the house under 1. Climate came out the same day to quote a new boiler - given our circumstances they worked tirelessly to supply and fit a new boiler by the 9th November. They were friendly, efficient and very meticulous in what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves and we were happy to have a fully functional boiler within half a day! We are incredibly grateful for them squeezing us in. I highly recommend them. Climate provided several quotes and were honest about boiler standards. The price was as expected and the quality exceptional.

As they are a Which? Trusted Trader, I used this trader to service my boiler. These are the things that concerned me: 1. Did not arrive at expected time - no communication had to phone to ask where were. Rebooked and received £5 off invoice. 2. Did not receive any service report as recommended by Which 3. Did not ask to see Gas Meter so suspect did not do a 'burn' test. When queried said did service as maker's instructions. Only service in 25 years of servicing boiler annually NOT received a report on the service AND not been ASKED to show gas meter so a burn test could be conducted. Emailed to request a Service Report and 4 weeks later none received. Not sure I trust Which? Trusted Traders based on this experience.

This company have done several jobs for me. They are a family run business and they are all polite, friendly and trustworthy . Their work is good and they tidy up after they have been. They were very helpful in finding a solution to the problem of restricted access to the plumbing in the bathroom and seemed to care about doing a good job for their customers.

Urgently needed a plumber to help install our new kitchen. Dave (Climate) came out at short notice and gave us a very reasonable price to install new taps and isolation valves. Came when he said he would and did a very professional and neat job and gave us good advice on another job. During the installation, he came out again, at very short notice, to solve an unforeseen problem (not arising from his work). Without his prompt response we would have faced a weekend without water in the kitchen. He was courteous, helpful and patient! Would definitely use him again.

I needed new kitchen and bathroom taps, a leaking toilet repaired and silicon on the shower tray. Climate were friendly, prompt, did an excellent job and were completely trustworthy. They also sorted out a problem I had with the upstairs water pressure and fixed it at no extra cost. Would highly recommend them. I will use Climate again to service my boiler. A great family firm that has been running for 40 years.
