Chris at Connect Electric responded quickly to our enquiry via the website and came to see us promptly. He talked through various options for sola panels and a battery, gave us lots of information and made suggestions of what would suit our needs. The quotation had 3 different options with all the information that allowed us to make an informed choice. The work was booked in and completed within 4 weeks of our initial enquiry. There were a couple of teething problems with the supplier but Chris sorted them out quickly and did not send his final invoice until both we and he were happy with how the whole system was working. Any query we have had has been responded to quickly and the aftercare has been great. We are really happy with our solar system and have already recommended Connect Electric to a couple of friends.

I've got quotes from both local and national solar panel installers and Connect Electric was by far the best one for me - good communication from the start (not pushy like some of the others), matched other quotes, and supplied the specific equipment I was after (solar panels, inverter, battery). The quote was adhered to exactly with no deviation in price or components. The terms for the install were also much better than others I've read through. No subcontracting either - Chris was there for the site visit, and the installation. The on site survey was not rushed. Chris had both inspected the roof and the loft, explained the process, and was there to hear how I wanted the installation to look like, and where the components needed to go. He had also applied for the approval for solar energy export, and kept me in the loop throughout. The installation itself was very smooth. I was expecting not to have power for most of the day, for example, but it was only off for 10 minutes - amazing. With 3 people on site, everyone was keen to explain what they do, and follow any last minute requests from me. They also informed me that some of the tiles on the roof were damaged, and were kind enough to replace them with the ones I've provided - really going above and beyond! At the end of the day I had everything installed where and how I wanted, and the space was cleaned up. The handover documents were provided shortly after. Beautiful, professional service. Recommended by a friend. Due to our roof being very old, we had to have a new roof done at the same time. Chris explained that we could have an inroof system that meant we wouldn't have to have as many tiles. Recommended a roofer who was also friendly and efficient. Panels were up and working in a week. A good explanation of the system and app was given. Teething problems were found and sorted out immediately. From my own online research, it was clear that Chris kept up to date with the industry and this proved invaluable in helping me make the right choices. The installation was carried out by Chris and two colleagues and they worked together well as a team, were clearly happy with their job and very friendly. The job was finished in a day and a half. Their installation was very neat and left very tidy at the end of the job. In the almost 4 months since the system install, I have only had to contact Chris once to ask questions on my system software use, and he was able to give me immediate answers that were clear and solved my problem.
