We had our conservatory roof insulated recently. It's too early to say how much this makes the conservatory warmer in Winter or cooler in Summer but we can say this.... Bev answered our questions fully, promptly and convincingly during the enquiry process. Photos we took of the conservatory were enough for her to decide what was necessary. The quote was reasonable, cheaper than some we investigated. On the day itself Chris, our installer, was superb working very hard all day, sometimes having to improvise cleverly. Everything was completed in the one day. The only problems came with the delivery of some of the parts. We informed Julian that we were unable to take delivery as we were away on holiday so were informed by him that delivery would be on the fitting day. Nevertheless Eurocell(?) seemed to insist on delivery while we were away and sent the same poor chap to our house three times but, of course, he was unable to leave the items. No matter, eventually he was successful. We will be sure to leave a comment on the effectiveness of the insulation in good time.

We had this wonderful company come and insulated our conservatory roof and from start to finish was just perfect. From the start talking to a lovely lady called Bev who organised dates and times. Then to the actual job which went so smoothly, nothing to much trouble even removing centre light and putting up our new one. The gentleman was so quick and efficient, cleaned and removed everything. Now we have a new warm solid room which we can use all the year round. Definitely recommend this company 10/10

The floor was properly protected and the current structure checked before work started. The insulation work was carried out in one day and to a high standard and to the cost as agreed. The operative was considerate and helpful and clearly highly experienced. A good job well done.

We decided to have our conservatory roof insulated And decided on conservatory roof insulation ltd to carry out the work, from the outset Beverly was very helpful and talked us through the whole process, the estimated cost was very good so we agreed a date and time. Chris arrived slightly late but it was a bank holiday so not a problem to us, he was very friendly and explained the way he would do the work and completed it with no problems and in 5hrs with no mess left. We would certainly recommend them with no hesitation.

We moved into our new house 5 months ago which had an existing conservatory in our south facing garden. This was completely unusable due to the heat that built up in the recent fine weather and reached at temperature of 52°c. We therefore decided to have the roof insulated to reduce the heat and hopefully retain any warmth in winter. Having spoken to Beverly at the company she fully understood our issue and quickly provided what we considered to be a competitive quotation. On the date of insulation Chris and Stuart were very professional, completing the work to a high standard and clearing up when they had finished. We are delighted with the results and now have added living space which we can now use. We definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for conservatory roof installation.

Beverly was so helpful when I contacted for a quote made everything easy to understand - the quote was extremely reasonable and the date available was only a couple of weeks from the date of contact. The installers were lovely v personable and helpful - the job was done in half a day they arrived when they said they would did a good job and left no mess or anything yo tidy up. We can now hardly hear the rain and have been able to sit in there whilst the sun is shining - not tried over winter yet. Cannot recommend enough thank you

Fantastic service from start to finish. I had almost given up from finding a reputable business to install the much needed Insulation on the conservatory roof of my recently purchased property, when I checked the Which Trusted Traders website to see if a company whose claim to be on it was true (it wasn't) - when I came across Conservatory Roof Insulation Ltd. From the initial conversation with Julian & Beverly, I knew I was in safe hands, even though I live the other side of England to them, they are very friendly, honest and supportive. The work was carried out efficiently and faultlessly to a very high standard by Chris and Stuart. The roof looks beautiful, and straight away I noticed a difference in the temperature (being south facing, it had got up to 45+ degrees at times), now it's a comfortable 20-25 when really hot. Where before the noise of the rain was unbearably loud, you can barely hear it at times since the installation. The price was really reasonable, very fair and definitely worth it - some of the quotes I received from pushy companies were double. I highly recommend this company.

I had been trying to use my conservatory as a music room, but experienced excessive heat in the summer months and a chill in the winter. The first quotation sought was tackling the problem from the outside roof and resulted in a high price way above my planned budget. On contacting CRI, I was immediately struck by the professionalism, efficiency, and absence of any pressure in the sales process. Measurements and pictures were sent, and I received a fully costed quotation almost immediately, followed up by a planned installation date about ten days from that date. The installation was done in about three hours, including moving furniture and cleaning up afterwards. With several heatwaves this year so far, the product has been put to the test immediately, and the difference in temperature has been palpable, making the room once more suitable as a music studio. I am more than satisfied with the price, performance of the product, and the service received from Beverley and the team at CRI.

We have a small, quite old victorian-style conservatory that got very hot in the summers we are now experiencing and too cold in the winter, making it virtually unusable for at least half the year. After a lot of research, and careful scrutiny of their website, I phoned and spoke to Beverly. She obviously has a wealth of experience and could answer all my questions herself. She described the process and, upon receipt of some photographs, provided a very reasonable quote. The plastic cladding materials arrived the Friday before installation on the Tuesday. A word of warning - you need a lengthy area to store them in as they come in 5 meter lengths (outside is fine) as Julian had advised me by text earlier in the week. Chris and Stewart arrived at 8:00 am (half an hour early) and were finished by midday, with another job to go to. They worked non-stop and have the process down to a tee. The sheets of insulation material are fixed between 2 sets of wooden batons attached to the rectangular and triangular roof panels. Then the plastic cladding is meticulously measured and attached. It looks fabulous, so much better than the dingy old polycarbonate, and has already made such a difference to both the conservatory and the sitting room beyond! I’m not looking forward to winter, as I hate the cold, but hope it’ll retain the heat and be a usable room. Watch this space for an update!

Previously, we had old blinds that cost significantly more and still didn’t solve the problems of glare and intense heat. The new insulated roof has addressed these issues completely. My conservatory faces due south (not purchased by me....previous owners). Although hard to believe, Yorkshire does get hot. Today for example, 12/05/2025 we reached 27 degrees. My insulation was fitted in March 2025, and it was cold outside! My conservatory after the insulation was so warm I turned my radiator down to the lowest setting above "Off". I've waited until hot weather to review this product and service. South facing conservatory in March with cold weather, was brilliant! Hot weather.... I had not been able to use my conservatory previously during the Winter or Summer. The summer boiled the inside of my bungalow! 27 degrees today outdoors! The insulation kept the massive heat out and I was able to use my conservatory. I was concerned initially, that the space would be too dark. It isn't. Light comes in via the side glass and is more than adequate. The white ceilings reflect light back into the room without adding heat. The Fitters were brilliant. So polite and friendly...worked their socks off, never seemed to stop for a break. They didn't need tea or coffee or the lavatory. Everything they needed was in their van. Highly recommended. Blinds would have cost me three times as much....and the strings and fittings with blinds, become brittle in the sun and stop functioning. Brilliant product. Much less expensive than having roof blinds and fitters are exceptional.

Communication was good. So I knew what and who was arriving when. And they did! The guys arrived on time and got straight to work. They explained what they were going to do and why, at each stage. And other than supplying plenty of mugs of tea to them - it was dusty work! - , they were at work pretty well non stop. They got the job done completed within the day and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the job done, and are already taking full advantage of the improvement that it's made (i.e. warmer - it was before this recent hot spell began, and less glare so I can use my laptop in there whenever I want). I was very pleased with the whole experience, Beverley was most helpful ,explaining everything, without being pushy ,they give you time to think about it. The price was spot on , and the work carried out was excellent, I would highly recommend this company.

Some items/ product delivered the day before. The two men arrived on time the next day and worked almost non stop. When they finished, they cleaned everything away. I am delighted with the end result. I highly recommend this company. Not forgetting that it comes with a 10 year guarantee.

Having read several of these reviews I decided to contact CRI to obtain details and a quote......... and I'm delighted that I did so. Julian provided all the necessary details and was very informative without being in the slightest pushy...... I immediately felt at ease in dealing with the company. A very reasonable quote was provided and accepted the same day and the work was scheduled for a little over two weeks ahead. In the interim, we were kept informed by Bev of all arrangements as and when they were made. On the appointed day Chris and Stewart arrived on time and immediately got on with the job. They were friendly, polite, extremely efficient and also very tidy in the way in which they carried out the work ........ absolutely no mess whatsoever. The workmanship was of a very high standard and I cannot fault it in any way. The following morning was cold and frosty and it is fair to say that the temperature in our North facing conservatory was massively improved as a result of the work carried out by CRI ....... conservatory is no longer the early morning ice-box that it used to be and we also don't have to look at a grubby poly-carb roof either!! (It's also very much quieter in the conservatory during periods of rainfall). From beginning to end the whole process was totally hassle-free and the outcome has exceeded our expectations. Needless to say, we are delighted with the work and cannot praise this company highly enough ....... I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I wrote a review at the time of installation. I was extremely pleased with the service I had received and the work done. Now that I have experience the conservatory through both the summer and the winter, I wanted to add to my original review. I can say the conservatory insulation is everything I hoped it would be. It has provided us with another room and with a little heating, it has kept warm and cosy throughout the day and evening, during the winter months. It is also much cooler in the summer, so again can be used even on very hot days. I am extremely happy with the work we had done and can highly recommend this company. They are honest, with no pressure selling and they answered all our questions. Also the price was extremely competitive. Thank you very much.

We used Conservatory Roof Insulation Ltd to fit new pvc panels to the inside of our conservatory to provide better insulation and to make the room more usable all year round. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. From the initial conversation where the services the company could provide were clearly explained, and a very competitive quote offered, to the finished installation everything was excellent. In between booking the work and the work taking place we had a few questions which Beverly - the Director and our contact at the company - was always happy to answer in a friendly manner. On the day the two workmen (sorry I cannot recall their names) turned up on time and did a fabulous job. They were at all times polite, considerate, hardworking, and kept any disruption to a minimum. When they had finished they cleaned up fully and we were really pleased with the end result - it was just what we wanted and all the work was of a really high standard. I am so glad that we found this company and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others or in giving them a 5 star rating.

After some research we choose Conservatory Roof Insulation Ltd to install an installation system to the inside of our conservatory ceiling. So far we see a positive difference keeping the conservatory cooler when the sun is beating down, the almost blinding light and excessive heat can be very uncomfortable. With the ceiling now installed its much more comfortable. Winter and the colder temperatures have not yet been tested however having had the system carefully explained we expect the room to retain more heat thus making it a room to be enjoyed all year round. The fitters worked hard with communication every step of the way and the whole construction completed in one day. Good company to work with in comparison to one other local company who were much less informative and a little pushy. Happy to recommend.

Conservatory Roof Insulation Ltd was recommended by a neighbour who had had the same problem as us, the conservatory was too hot in summer and too cold in winter. Everything went so smoothly from the initial visit where we were given a clear explanation of the options available and exactly how it would work. Measurements were taken and an exact price given at that point. They were not pushy and we didn’t feel pressured at all to decide if we wanted to go ahead. We contacted them a few days later to say we wanted to have the job done and a date was arranged. ‘Chris and Stuart’ turned up on the morning we had agreed and did a fabulous job! They were very professional and worked nonstop to transform the conservatory. When they had finished you couldn’t even tell anyone had been in, it was spotless. We were over the moon with everything from start to finish. The service, definitely the price, but most of all we now have a ‘new room’ we can use any season. We have not long moved into a new build and then had a conservatory built. Not having had one before we opted for a glass roof. We soon realised that we found it much too hot in summer and too cold in winter. We were advised by a friend who had this system fitted as to how good it was and decided to have it fitted. Julien and Beverley were very helpful, and all went exactly as they described. We are very pleased with the outcome, and are looking forward to using it through the winter months.
