Convert Energy were recommended to me by two sets of neighbours, both of whom had been impressed by the helpfulness and good service offered. One neighbour's original installers had gone bust, yet Convert Energy willingly helped the family, fixing a problem and improving their domestic setup. I chose them in preference to some cheaper firms who offered 'standardised' installations. I wanted large capacity batteries, a programmable Inverter and a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that would continue to provide stored power to all lighting, fridges and freezers and the electrical maintenance of my Gas Central Heating for up to several hours in case of a power cut. Convert Energy's engineers carried out a clean and safe installation with efficiency and speed. I have been impressed by one of their Design Engineers who has solved my after-installation queries and remotely re-programmed my Inverter to take advantage of better tariffs now being offered by my energy provider. Better still, they are close to my address in Canterbury.

We had a solar panel and battery storage system installed. We had a number of different quotes from various providers before we decided to go with Convert Energy. They were price competitive (not the cheapest but service, engagement and quality of components to install best value for money in our opinion) and provided a full survey of the property and advised on potential solutions. There was no pressure to accept their recommendations or quote. Once we accepted the quote the communication remained regular on timelines and deliverables. The installers were excellent and despite an incident when fitting, Convert Energy made all good rapidly. They have continued to correspond occasionally post-instalment to check that everything is okay and aid with software updates. Overall would highly recommend.

I was having a heat pump instant decided that solar panels would be a useful addition to the system. Convert was recommended to me by a friend who knew about the work that they did in Herne Bay. They did a survey and advised that the amount of energy generated from panels on the south east facing roof would not be sufficient to make the investment worthwhile. We then explored having additional panels on my west facing garage roof. They then advised that this could provide a useful amount of electricity to run the heat pump. The work was completed in tandem with Octopus Energy engineers fitting the heat pump which was very practical as the wiring ran through the same routes I the house. The engineers very well informed and efficient and kept me appraised throughout the installation.

I had a total of 17 solar panels fitted on the back and front of my roof, along with bird protection. I had already had for some estimates from other companies online (not local to my area) but Convert Energy asked more questions and were able to give me a more tailored estimate I felt confident to accept. I was pleased to use a local company that I knew would come back if I needed them to. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. They were quick to return when I pointed out a broken tile and they replaced it straight away. I would not hesitate to recommend this company
