Unlike many of our competitors, Correct Services have not required the need for a great deal of advertising since much of our work is derived from recommendations by existing customers and by providing a 1st class after sales support for several high street retailers.

We had a sudden loss of picture (not sound) on our LG TV (which is about 8years old). We had never used Correct Services before and the whole experience was excellent. The fault was provisionally diagnosed in the initial phone call. Costs were clearly explained. Once the TV was on the workbench we were phoned with a definite cost, (if we wished to proceed with the repair) given an indication of the time it was likely to take (allowing for parts to be ordered). Immediately the repair was completed we had another phone call to arrange delivery and re-connection. Every one we dealt with could not have been more helpful. Throughout the process all timings given were met or exceeded. If we have problems in the future we will certainly go back to Correct Services.

Making a Denon work

I have two Denon M40DAB receivers each of which stopped working successively. I took it to a nearby computer/hi fi dealer, who diagnosed failure of the transformers, but recommended Richer Sounds in Nottingham, who in turn advised me to approach Correct Service. On testing and finding that the receivers worked well for a considerable time, Alan of Correct Service said that he thought the fault was the connection with the loudspeakers, and not the M40s themselves. I realized then that while testing the machines I had connected both of them to loudspeakers via the same switching box, and that this was the only common element in the system. Playing without the switch was fine, and back to normal! Excellent and speedy service, and since the M40s cost about £400 each when I bought them, a very cheap repair! I would certainly bring any other equipment to Correct Service for help.

Myself and family have used this company over the years for very professional repairs and have never had to recall them over any work I phoned today for advice on a faulty Panasonic freeview recorder they were so honest I can’t thank them enough for there advice I hope they carry on this business for years to come has they have gained my trust over the years

Bad service and treatment of elderly customers

Sony TV Repair was carried out in November 2019 and engineer did not change the frequency from euro to Uk on the set when new board was installed. TV stopped receiving HD channels. Spoke to Sony over the next 3 months and carried out various software updates sony then booked it in for a repair with this company. When booking a appointment for a repair they had done wrong they told my 74 year old father that he will need to pay £50.00 before they send any one out as they said the cause would be his TV Antenna which would be the cause. Antenna worked fine before the original repair and works fine on other Sony TV sets in the house. I paid the £50 so a engineer could be sent which felt like my father was being held to ransom. Engineer came today and said the antenna is fine and that the original job was not carried out correctly. He changed the TV’s frequency to the uk setting everything is working fine for now. I asked about the refund for the call out and was advised that someone will call me from the office today this was at 12.30pm. No call received so I called the office at 4.30pm to chase them for my father refund. I would not recommend this repair service ask the manufacturer to refer to a different company unless you want to be held to Ransom. Not very fair for a 74 year old pensioner to be put through when they are worried about the Coronavirus.

Recommended to Correct Service by Richer Sounds when my LG television developed a fault and was out of warranty. Service provided was excellent from initial phone call to enquire if they could investigate / repair problem, arranging for repair and communication during fault finding / repair and collection of repaired TV. All staff who I dealt with were polite and professional, ( and in current climate took correct precautions for Covid 19 protection). All costs involved were explained before any work was carried out and final costs very reasonable, work was completed within 24 hours of TV being dropped off for repair. All in all great service from nice people, I would highly recommend for anyone looking for repair by a respectable company that can be trusted to deliver good work in good time at a reasonable price. Fair in providing information
I have called them today to enquire about a Sony 55 XF9005 repair with a smashed screen. They provided really fast an actually really accurate answer. Sony don't provide in about 90 percent of the situation new LCD screens for their repair centres and basically the customer will be offered the option of a refurbish TV at a lower price, same model or one of the same value. Not believing this info initially I called Sony and the person on the phone was not able to provide the information and suggested me to call another repair centre, called in and same story was provided. Sony do not provide screens and this is been going for at least two years.

I have dealt with 'Correct Service' many times, usually with old machines and successfully. This time they were unsuccessful because the parts required for my B&O music centre were not available anywhere, not even in Sweden. This is the first time Correct Service have failed, but I give them 100 percent for their effort.

I took my 18 month old 55" TV for a damage report after it had been damaged by a different Panasonic ' approved' service centre in Coventry. They were appalled at the service I received and contacted Panasonic on my behalf. After a fortnight I was informed that Panasonic would REPLACE my damaged TV free of charge. Sarah Green in their office chased this relentlessly and I cannot thank her enough. Correct Service personnel really know what they are talking about and provide a fantastic service. 5****++++

DVD was faulty. Discussed problem on phone with a "real" engineerwho diagnosed the problem and promised a next day service if the dianosis was correct. The Sony machine was taken to the premises on wednesday afternoon and I was advised at 09.15 the next morning that it was ready for collection. Brilliant!!
