I had a new electric heating system installed in my flat. The initial visit went very well, with a clear explanation of what was needed, the total cost and likely timescale for ordering and completion. The new radiators I had ordered arrived more quickly than expected and were installed the following week in less than one day. The workers, who had to transport these heavy items some distance to my flat, were polite, friendly and efficient throughout. The instruction manual is easy to use. Communication with this company is easy and personal - no waiting for a robot-like answer! I am delighted and recommend them.

Wanting to move away from fossil fuels we carried out research into heating and hot water solutions for our house. We obtained brochures from a small number of companies and had visits from Cotswold and others. From the beginning we liked their ethos of being a family company offering premium products with Simon taking time and care to answer numerous questions and provide variations on the original estimate. Once we placed our order we were put in touch with Hilary who was excellent at overseing the whole installation, liasing with us on dates and answering any further questions we had. The installation took three days as they had expected. The team (Finn, Luis, Mark and Toby) arrived on time each day and took care to lay down protective covers. They were excellent at problem solving and carried out the work effectively while answering all of our questions along the way. The team cleared up well and took away our old radiators, water tank, pipes etc. So far, the Sumamp heat battery together with the Fonital bathroom towel rail and the Elkatherm radiators have performed well. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. The products are premium and the customer service is exemplary.

I am lucky to live near Stroud. Needing a replacement storage heater I came across this company, cannot remember how, maybe google.. I was sold as soon as I walked into their offices. Purchased standard white radiators and a towel rack. The process was very smooth and efficient from the start to the end and communication was excellent by the sales rep, Russell and office contact Hilary. The actual installation of the heaters and the towel rack was done by Mark and Toby - efficient, friendly, helpful, clean. They also explained the operation via the App very well. In the first instance I received a personal visit and advice from Simon in choosing the right heaters in the right places for my bungalow. Later, Toby and Finn, Cotswold-Heating-Solutions fitters, did an excellent job installing my new A++ Elkatherm electric heaters in every room and showed me how to use them. These handsome, top notch German-made highly efficient heaters will make my bungalow warm and cosy all winter long as I see savings in my electricity output. Late last year we used Cotswold Heating Solutions to replace the old immersion tank with a SunAmp battery water heater and an electric kitchen radiator. Simon quoted and was friendly and knowledgeable. The quote was competitive and the work undertaken in good time, quickly and efficiently. The fitters were polite and tidy as well. Only minor issue (not the companies fault) was the app for the kitchen heater didn’t run IOS as it was so new. They swapped the controller to a different one that did use IOS and would be in touch with the new one when the app was running. The SunAmp water heater is brilliant. Mains pressure hot water, can be charged by solar or cheap let night rate electric. It feels so much cleaner and not having the boiler on to heat water either is great. A few months on and Cotswold Heating had kept us in mind and remembered we needed the different control panel for the radiator without my prompting. Came out and swapped over with no hassle and again friendly workmen. Great service and would highly recommend.

Toby and Mark who fitted our new radiators were very prompt polite and efficient with this installation. They were very attentive in performing also explaining the instructions of operation. Hopefully the heaters will be as effective as they appear to be.

After considerable research, I chose Cotswold Heating Solutions. Not only did they answer the phone immediately they were always knowledgeable and informative. Initially, I was slightly nervous as it was a considerable outlay for my rental property but I believe in the long term a canny investment as endorsed by my accountant and Estate Agent. It will make my property more saleable, no more outdated old fashioned storage heaters and an inefficient water cylinder with no header pressure putting prospective buyers off. My 2 new ELKATHERM radiators look super smart and my tenant was rewarded after a long day in London with a very hot bath provided by my thermal heat battery SUNAMP. The water pressure is fantastic and it looks so smart in the cupboard and has created much more storage space. The radiators APP is so easy to use. It took about 3 hours in total and Toby, Mark, and Ricky couldn’t have been more professional. The changeover with the electricity supplier OCTOPUS was seamless so all in all myself and tenant are extremely pleased. Also having spoken with people who say the removal of old storage heaters is difficult this was not the case with Cotswold Heating Solutions. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to you.

We had a survey done with Cotswold Heating Solutions after moving into an all-electric flat in November 2022, and soon discovering that the hot water tank and wet central heating system was terrible. The cost to run it, in comparison with what we got from it, was awful. Even on an Economy 7 tariff with cheap electric overnight. Russell attended and conducted a survey, measuring up each room in order to recommend radiator sizes, and also checking that we could accommodate a Sunamp. He is a credit to the company - really friendly and helpful in answering all our questions, as well as some follow ups after he had left. We decided to opt for a Sunamp first of all (radiators most likely later in the year due to our financial reasons). As part of the price, the team also removed our hot water tank and radiators. The team were very efficient and friendly people - who also gave us a thorough demonstration of how the Sunamp works before they left. It's only been about three weeks so far, but we are already seeing savings on our daily electric use, and it's so good to get hot water on demand as opposed to relying on it staying hot all day in the cylinder. Added to that, the Sunamp uses half the kWh input that the cylinder did. It's been a no brainer for us in terms of solving the hot water problem we had. I would recommend Cotswold Heating Solutions to anyone. Everyone I dealt with was great.

I found this company via a Google search after looking at other firms. They provided a quick efficient quote which was very competitive. The person who attended to prepare the quote was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Once I decided to go ahead they provided the heater quickly and efficiently. The work was carried out to a high standard and I am delighted with the result.

We recently replaced our old night storage radiators and hot and cold water tanks with up to date electric radiators and a new Sunamp heater. Cotswold heating carried out the work with a minimum of mess and within 5 hours all the work was completed. We were always kept informed of our orders progress until installation and any questions we had were answered quickly. We had two storage heaters downstairs which were life expired and one failed between Christmas and New Year. We contacted the company and Simon came to assess, explain everything and quote for our requirements. We were told that there was an eight week lead time and this was honored. On installation day the two installers were prompt, courteous, clean and sociable. They installed our equipment with minimal inconvenience and once done explained fully the operational settings. We have had them installed now for two weeks and are very happy with the operation.

I received very good service and attention from both office and installation team staff when replacing an old night storage heater. I required extra information and helpful advice in familiarising myself with new equipment and this was well supplied.

Cotswold heating supplies replaced my old electric storage heaters downstairs ( 3 in number ) . They arrived on time and took the old heaters out with a minimum of disruption ! Great team and also very tidy , more than pleased with this team and from initial enquiry to finish cannot fault this company ! Very quick from enquiry to site inspection visit. Very impressed with installers determination to get around problems like a heavy unit and stairs, and supplying dedicated electric feed to unit. The electrican and the plumber worked well together. Very tidy job. The clever bit of the setup are the electronic devices Harvi and Eddi. Harvi sees if there is any spare PV and Eddi sorts out the charging. The installer set up a booster charge between 4am and 6am so the SunAmp is charged, if it needs it, ready for the morning. In my set up, it usually means it drains the general storage battery, ready for the new day, which is ideal, and tops up with grid if needed. It will really come into its own from March when I get excess PV production.

From first contact and survey the surveyor was very professional, discussed my needs and explained the best and most economical system that would benefit my needs. Order was placed and Cotswold Heating, kept me informed of the progress of my order, once my order was in stock they called and made appointment for installation and this was completed within one week of that call. Cotswold are professional - helpful - the Elkatherm is a high quality product - great service - tidy installation. The control App would be my only gripe - it is not intuitive at all (and I'm quite good with technical stuff!)...it works fine once you get to understand it though. Expect the App will be improved over time, so not a real issue.

Cotswold Heating Solutions Ltd. provided and installed a Sunamp Thermino 300e to give us an electric alternative for hot water supply, allowing us to remove our gas boiler. Cotswold Heating Solutions were very good throughout my dealings with them from first call and discussion of the solution I was looking for, to organising specialist delivery (it's heavy!) and the trades needed to complete the installation. The solution is working a treat.

Cotswold Heating installed Elkatherm Radiators, and a Sunamp Water Heater. This was to replace an ageing gas central heating system. They allowed two days for the installation, and it was completed in one. Five 'installers' arrived first thing, and the job was done by 'close of play'. All trades (plumbers, electricians, etc.) worked well together, and with good humour - and no blaring radio! All waste materials were removed from site and our house left in good order - just the decorating to do! We are particularly pleased with the Sunamp. This works in conjunction with our solar panels, and it makes a change to have hot water on tap - our combi boiler took an age to deliver, with considerable waste of water. From initial consultation to installation, we have been really pleased with Cotswold heating and the products they supply. We are happy customers and would whole heartedly recommend them.

A fantastic service provided from the initial consultation to the installation. We were kept fully updated with regard to delivery and notified promptly of any delay regarding delivery due to the product being manufactured outside of the UK. Elkatherm radiators installed throughout the whole of the house bringing the heating system up-to-date. The fitting crew were prompt, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. Everything was set up for us and a full demonstration provided as well as the info pack and how to seek help if required. I would certainly recommend Cotswold Heating Services. I had 3 Elkatherm radiators installed to replace old storage heaters. Simon visited initially to check the property, gave comprehensive advice and options, and provided the quote. The heating engineers, Ricky and Charlie, were a great team. They were careful about checking everything before they started the work. They installed and checked everything, and they left the place tidy. The set up of the app to control the radiators was straightforward too. I'll see how the heating is longer term when I've moved in completely but so far so good. It's a transformation! And not forgetting Jo in the office, always quick to respond, it was a pleasure to work with this family business. Thank you!

The work was split into two phases. 1st was strip out (gas CH, radiators, visible pipework), installation of sunamp (hot water) plus a requested variation to replace the WHB taps to the bathroom with better quality taps that I'd acquired. This occurred 5 November 2021. The 2nd phase occurred on 19 November 2021 (requested 1-2 weeks between visits, enabling some re-decoration, particularly to bathroom). During the second, we had three elkatherm heater/radiators installed, plus heated towel rail and a further requested variation - a new extractor fan. A truly excellent team of three (M, R and C), highly competent, friendly, tidy and trustworthy, were involved in the installations (including fitting interior and exterior ventilation grilles where the gas flue went through the masonry walls). We LOVE the sunamp and the elkatherm (bespoke colour) radiators. My views are that the sunamp provides water at better pressure to the shower/bath and at more immediate, consistent temperature. The heaters are versatile in the degree of control (4 mode settings) and a surprise for me was the integrated control display (no separate thermostats on walls). Gas CH cannot continue (my view) if we are to meet our environmental targets and we are glad that we have done this NOW. CHS are, in my view, well ahead of the 'field', were more competitive than the competition we invited to price, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them to others considering making a similar eco-friendly move.

When we first bought our apartment the only heating was night storage running on eco 7. We knew very early on that this will not do and it g=had to be replaced with a more modern, convenient and maybe even a lower running cost. The problem for us that due to the property being Grade 11 listed Gas would be very difficult to install so electric had to be the way. I looked at various options and quotations and arriving at Cotswold Heating Solutions ticked all the boxes. We had a very good and clean installation with an Elkatherm system that worked a treat. But I made a mistake... I failed to have a radiator in our spare room which I use either as a study and a second bedroom. Over a year later I called Simon, the MD and requested this to be done. Maybe a week or two later and it was fitted - perfect. It was fitted superbly well, no panic and now our apartment is so ready for winter. Fitting these radiators may not be the cheapest solution but for us its about our comfort and thats where CHS come into their own. The programing took me a while to get my head around but now we're there. And to use an old expression 'we should have done it ages ago' - with Cotswold Heating Solutions. If this reads like a solid piece of promotional advertising copy, then its only because the service and the product deserves it. Brilliant, cant say better than that.

Cotswold Heating Solutions had been recommended to me by an experienced sustainability consultant and colleague, who provides an advisory service to Parochial Church Councils in the Diocese of Gloucester. My own domestic scheme involved C.H.S. advising on the product, the sizing and installation of three Elkatherm rads. in a reasonably large house extension. The whole process, including deferring the installation for the build to catch up with the wiring second fixings, was handled with care and attention to detail; with a very efficient installation team that happened to be led by a member of the C.H.S. family business. It has been good to support a local business, and we wish it well for the future.

I was directed to Cotswold Heating Solutions by another company in the Elkatherm group who suddenly realised they didn't actually cover my area. My enquiry was dealt with very efficiently, including an apology for the situation, which was not their fault. The radiators were installed in the estimated half a day and I was shown how to operate them. It's still early days but initial calculations seem to indicate that costs will be comparable with the previous gas central heating, and the property is at the temperature I need.

Needed to replace 2 old night storage heaters and had several companies out to quote. Simon (the managing director) was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative during the survey. I felt very assured that the Elkatherm radiators were the perfect choice for me. One of the things I love about them is their A++ energy performance rating. Think very carefully before using this company. No consideration was given to the lack of sockets by the salesman. This necessitated additional costs to provide spurs to radiators. After having paid £10k and losing programming during a recent power cut, I am now told it is not their problem. The call out to reprogram will be £80 plus VAT - shameful.

I am so pleased with both my new heating system and the friendly professional assistance from Simon and all the staff I engaged with from my first phone call until the installation of my 4 Elkatherm radiators. I was seeking to remove my ancient storage heaters and couldn't be happier with my choice. The old radiators were removed and the new ones installed in optimal new locations in my flat. I engaged this company to install an electric heating and hot water system in my Victorian terraced house. The managing director, who is a qualified electrician, came to carry out a survey. He did not look to see if the existing electrical system was suitable to support the new installation. It wasn’t. An hour after the installation team left I had no electricity on the ground floor. They came later to provide a temporary remedy. The MD, Simon Rhys-Davies states “your electrical installation and associated condition is not our responsibility “. I would agree. However, I would suggest that the installation of a new system should not be sold to a customer without checking that the existing electrics can support the new installation safely.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Very helpful in every way, always fast to respond to phone calls and e-mails a family run business that take pride in there work. 6 radiators a bathroom towel rail and sunamp water heater fitted in just a day by a team of three,clean tidy work as well. After a survey and quote provided by Cotswold Heating, they were engaged to decommission and remove a gas central heating and water heating system to be replaced by Elkatherm storage radiators and Sunamp water heater. It also included the replacement of a bathroom shower. All information provided was comprehensive and accurate and any queries or questions that arose during the contract were speedily dealt with. We had two electric radiators fitted by Cotswold Heating Solutions. It was a very quick response to our initial enquiry with a survey visit scheduled within the week. Simon arrived exactly as agreed and is very friendly and helpful, we particularly liked the fact that he gave great advice but at no point tried to sell us more than we were looking for (unlike some other companies). Installation was quicker than expected (bonus) and we were kept informed as to arrival time with Finn and the boys turning up exactly as promised. Our 200 year old cottage which had a solid fuel heating and hot water system featuring a Rayburn cooker needed an update. We already had solar panels fitted by a LOCAL company and wanted a LOCAL company to replace the heating and hot water system. Friendly, no hard sell, knowledgeable, keeping me informed of progress and 'no such thing as a daft question' approach. Installation went so smoothly, an easy to understand run through of operating the system and no mess left at all. Product wise, a little early to tell as rads not needed ATM, but look great and hot water's much quicker than the previous GCH. A 'ptoper' family business based on good service.

We first contact Simon to discuss replacing our ageing gas central heating. After he had pointed out all the pro’s and con’s, we finally agreed to have installed Elkatherm radiators and an unvented Joules cylinder for hot water. The fitting team took pride in all aspects of their work and left our home clean and tidy. From first contact to final completion we had an excellent service. We contacted Cotswold Heating Solutions to advise us on replacing our oil-fired system with Elkatherm electric radiators. From the first meeting, we were impressed by the expertise of the company, as well as the product. This is a real family business. Not only does Simon, the head of the firm, come to do the survey himself, but he is a qualified electrician, so he can really explain the product and what he is looking at in the house. This was not the case with any of the other three companies we consulted. He was totally honest, advising us to check with our electricity distributor to see whether our supply was sufficient for the proposed system. As a result of this, we decided not to go ahead, but this had nothing whatever to do with the quality of the company. Indeed, it was Simon's advice that led us to this decision! Employed Cotswold Heating Solutions to install new Elkatherm heating system in our holiday flat in Pembrokeshire. Cotswold's team set out at the crack of dawn to reach us and worked solidly to install the system in one day. They were well organised, courteous and accommodating throughout the day even giving us time to paint behind the old radiators before hanging the new ones. The system is neat and efficient and easily programmed. Only slightly annoying factor was that the app cannot be downloaded to iOS. Communication has been excellent throughout.

We decided to move away from oil and explored air source heat pumps but that proved unworkable in an old Cotswold cottage with micro bore pipes. We invited Simon to suggest a future proof and green alternative to our old system and the solution he suggested seemed right for us. We liked the extra space that smaller radiators and the removal of an oil boiler would create, the ease of control of the new system via an App. and the negligible future maintenance needed. The installation team were excellent and the whole experience was first class, on time and on budget.

We wanted to replace a whole house old and creaky oil-fired heating system, knowing this would need at least 10 new heaters, so a pretty serious decision. We found Cotswold Heating Solutions, and Simon came along and made no hard sell, just an honest evaluation. We were attracted by a more reasonably priced proposal than the opposition, with very similar technology and perhaps superior controllability, a great guarantee on the heaters (I don't think British manufacturing can provide this yet, sadly), plus the amazing ability to specify a deep green radiator to match a permanently richly coloured room. We have been through two types of heat pumps in previous houses, but our current property doesn't lend itself to that, and as we can now buy fully renewably powered electricity, we don't really need to. The future can be electric, plus it takes less room. When they came, not only did Finn and Ben strip out the old, oil-fired system, boiler and all, but they worked neatly to remove as much pipework as possible and place the new heaters in more convenient places. Result; not only do we have a clean, quiet, heating system from renewable energy, we have a complete new cupboard and two rooms which have a precious 4" more useable space. Ben and Finn worked neatly, consulting us whenever necessary, but getting on with it, and Finn is still on the phone to help with programming tips. Very pleased, we would definitely recommend the firm.

We needed to change our, antiquated, heating system to a modern, greener solution. We did our research and asked Cotswold solutions for help. This is a family business and Simon came out to see us in July 2020. He fully explained the workings of the Elkatherm radiators and also the Sunamp, which is an electrical water heater (doing away with water cylinder) and having instant hot water. We were very impressed and went ahead with, radiators and the Sunamp. These were delivered in October 2020, the heating was installed in one day, with no trouble and each stage was fully explained to us. Our house was left immaculate by the guys. They also explained how to use the heaters to get the greener and economic benefits of the system. Due to no fault of theirs, the Sunamp delivered, was the incorrect one, but after a phone call from Simon, the correct one was delivered at the end of the day and was installed the following day. Having used this product for over a month, we could not be happier with the product and service. Having recently moved into an old house in the countryside with just an oil fire and some panel heaters for heating we urgently needed a new solution. We're not on mains gas and the property isn't suitable for ground source or air source heating and we didn't fancy paying £25K to install an LPG system which feels like very old technology. This led us to look at electric systems that could be installed quickly with the minimum of disturbance to the property and we found Cotswold on-line. Simon came out to demo the Elkatherm system and advise us and was very professional with no sales pressure. The system looked great and the choice of colours, sizes etc. for the radiators was exactly what we were looking for. They're quite expensive for what they are but we were reassured by the 25-year warranty, simple install and promised low running costs so went for an initial 7 radiator install with another 5 to follow once we've completed the renovation work. COVID then got in the way so we had to wait a few extra weeks for the install but it was worth the wait. Simon's boys installed the whole system in under a day and were extremely tidy & quick. They left the property in a better state than they found it which is what we tell our own engineers to do. The rads are fitted perfectly and look great and they gave us comprehensive training on the system although it's a doddle anyway. We were very happy with the quality of the work and the engineers are a credit to Cotswold.

We had a large kitchen refurbishment and garden room extension nearly 4 years ago which included electric underfloor heating. however, during really cold days in the winter, we don't feel that the underfloor heating is warm enough. We did some research and arranged for Simon, from Cotswold Heating Solutions to visit us in February 2020 and recommend a solution for us. He arrived promptly and after surveying and listening to our concerns, he recommended for us to have two Elkatherm German electric radiators. He was very knowledgeable about his products and very personable too, I was impressed with his eye for detail, such as ensuring the fused connection units were in brushed steel to match our existing sockets. Although we placed our order in February this year, due to the Pandemic, there was some delays in receiving the radiators from Germany however, Simon kept us updated and we received an installation date for the 4th August. Ryan and Finn, from Cotswold Heating Solutions, arrived once again, on time and began the installation of our 2 radiators, they were extremely professional and carried out their work with a minimum of disruption to ourselves. after completing the installation they made sure we fully understood the technology and all the operating instructions. I Used Simon at Cotswold Heating to replace a similar system in our ground floor that was damaged due to a Flood’s in October 2019. First contact: I called Simon for a chat amongst other people from similar companies. I found Simon at Cotswold asked the right questions to understand our needs with no applied pressure. As a consequence, Cotswold Heating was the only company I offered to attend a home visit. Home Visit: I was not disappointed with the home visit/survey. Simon made us feel at ease and ensured we completely understood how the system would work to meet our needs in a cost effective manor. This was done with no pressure applied and no hard sell. Purchase: we decided to purchase 4 recommended heaters. we paid a 50% deposit with the remainder to be paid on the day of installation. Due to COVID 19 the lead time was understandably somewhat slower that normal however we were kept fully informed of progress until a delivery date away organised and met as promised. Fitting: both engineers arrived on time and completed the work to a high standard. They took social distancing extremely seriously and didn’t leave until we were completely confident with all aspects of the system and it’s associated Control’s. Future intent: I am yet to use this system to its full potential due to the time of the year. I have no doubt during Winter 2020/21 it will live up to our expectations. It is our intent to slowly replace the system upstairs when the time is right.

For years we’ve constantly moaned about our conservatory being cold throughout the winter and have no way of heating it without great expense as there is nowhere to have a gas boiler radiator as we don’t have a lot of wall space. We contacted Simon to come up with a solution for us and he had a perfect little radiator that would fit yet pump out a lot of heat when we needed it! On the day of the install one of Simon’s team turned up well presented and set to work and had the system up and running in no time. He showed us how to program the system to keep a constant economic temperature in the room and showed us how to override it to get more heat. When we build our extension and loft conversion we are definitely going to be ordering more and ditching the gas boiler!

Fantastic service throughout. Simon came over and spent an hour explaining the heaters and how they work ect. A Lovely gentleman. We had just brought a property which was electric only with night storage heaters which we wanted replacing. The quote we received was brilliant price for 5 radiators (after seeing quotes from over companies) plus everything was done in time. The 2 lads who came to fit them had it all done within 4 hours and showed me how to download the app and use everything, plus stayed for a chat about weddings and puppies. They said if any problems we live down the road so give them a bell. Was lovely service throughout. Already have friends interested and are going to ask for quotes!

We had old fashioned storage heaters at our 17th century period house which warmed the house well however they were not user friendly and were expensive to run. It is a holiday let and we had no control over the usage by the guests - some of whom had the heaters set to maximum during the record hot summer of 2018 and since! We desperately needed to regain some control. We contacted Simon at Cotswold Heating Solutions and through him a challenge and from the initial enquiry he was very responsive. He has continued to be as responsive right through the whole process from start to finish as has the installation team. We eventually agreed to replace the old storage heaters with new Elkatherm Storage heaters which can be controlled from an app on our mobile phones. The installation went very well but we had an 'apparent' problem with the app which turned out to be a temporary problem with the internet connection. Simon and the installation team, led by Ryan, monitored the problem and it was resolved quickly. We have been using the system since it was installed and controlling it through the app and are very satisfied so far. It is too early to compare the costs yet, we have not had a bill. but hopefully the controlability will yield good savings.
