Coulson's gutted my old ensuite and replaced it in full / retiled the walls and floor. I was so impressed with the whole team. They worked hard, efficiently and with regard to the rest of the house so the turmoil was kept to a minimum. I would wholeheartedly recommend the service to anyone in the future ( in fact I have already!)

Coulson's refurbished our family bathroom and downstairs loo. They provided excellent service throughout with high quality work. We appreciated the care they showed for the house, and the way they minimised disruption throughout the process. They were very responsive from early bid stages right to the end, responding quickly to emails and always taking the time to answer questions and keep us posted on how the works were going. The onsite manager worked very hard to keep to the schedule and made sure that everything was left tidy at the end of each day. Given the age of the house, we knew there could be unexpected problems - and Coulsons let us know whenever issues arose and worked with us to resolve them. We are very pleased with the result and confident in the quality of the work and appreciate the attention they paid to getting all the final details just right. We would definitely use them again.

Coulson's electrician replaced our RCD board with RCBO and fixed a faulty lightswitch in our kitchen. Their team were quick and polite with communications and were able to arrange a time for the job shortly after initial contact. On the day the electrician was friendly and professional and did a good job of completing the works promptly, making sure to recap his work when he had finished to outline exactly what had been done. Overall, impressive and efficient service!

We employed Coulsons after reading WHICH Trusted Traders review - and we are very glad we relied yet again on WHICH. The work was to supply and install a commercial-size gas boiler in our private property and supply and install new pumps, heat exchanger, controls, motorised valves, wireless room thermostats, pipework, system filter, condensate and waste pipes, a new horizontal flue, and to supply and install a new water softener. The system was power flushed, and high chimneys were capped. An unrelated niggling pipe leak was repaired, and good advice given about a jammed stopcock. The engineers were here for 6 days, and they cleared up completely in our boiler house every night. They kept us informed at every stage. The whole exercise was beautifully planned and executed on time and to budget. Coulson's engineers were a pleasure to have around. I would recommend Coulsons without hesitation.

Replacement consumer unit

I contacted Coulson Group Ltd to give me a quote for a new consumer unit as I had already received two other quotes but these took some time to get. My first contact with Coulson’s resulted in a site visit arranged. I was informed of all the steps that would be needed and time scales for these as well as any additional works that may be needed depending on the suitability of my existing wiring. A quote was sent to me within a couple of days as well as a choice of dates should I wish to go ahead. I chose the best date for me and the electrician arrived as expected and was extremely informative, polite and skilled. When the unit was tested I was shown all the work that was done and advised of future testing etc. I received an email with the relevant certificates attached. I also requested hard copies of these documents which I received within a few days. I found Coulson’s to be a very good and professional company to deal with and I would happily recommend them in the future.

My toilet suddenly failed to work. The young plumber thought the problem was the cistern diaphragm and had to go and buy a replacement. This did not solve the problem. He worked on it for a while then left without any explanation. I received a bill for three hundred and sixteen pounds, seventy two pence but still had a non functioning toilet. No explanation or apology.

I'm sorry to hear your experience of us has not been as we would expect. I've read through the job notes and the engineer has noted the toilet was working upon completion. I sincerely apologise if this was not the case but this does explain why no further contact was made - we were under the impression the works were resolved and complete. I will be making contact with you shortly to arrange for an alternative engineer to return and rectify the issue. It goes without saying there will be no additional charge. Replacement of old Boiler

Coulsons came out to advise us on a replacement boiler. My impressions formed from this initial visit were good. He listened to what I had to say. I wanted the new boiler in the same site as the old one but the piping altered for ease of access. With the removal of the existing boiler, I wanted some old apertures in the wall sealed up. He was extremely knowledgeable and recommended a particular boiler and filter and quoted a total cost for all of the work. There was a change of personnel and David came out to reassess the agreed plan. I thought I would have to go through all the details again. However, he had all the details with him. The initial start date was some months away. However, David was as good as his word. He promised an earlier start if a date became available which it did. Dale was our gas engineer. He gave us a staged timetable for the work. Everything went to plan. The work was completed on time and on budget. It was a professional and also an extremely neat job. Remeha came our to access the work and granted an extended warranty. I am very pleased with the work. From our experience here with this company and particularly with David and Dale I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any prospective customer.

Refurbishment of water tank and central heating plumbing

Arrived on time. Helpful and friendly and Covid secure. Explained what they were doing and why. Gave us options and advice. Always cleared up at end of day. Finished work on time. Solved the unforeseen problems, advised, and fitted two automatic basement pumps. Also repaired niggling household plumbing problems as extras. Outstanding job. Good prices.
