Responsive, reliable quality work. I use Coulson for a variety of small electrical, plumbing and building work on a regular basis in my own home and in a number of rental properties. They provide estimates they stick to. They arrive when arranged and are polite to deal with. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Electricians : three , on six days ; removal & disposal of three old night storage heaters ; replacement of two distribution boards ; quotation , supply and fixing of two new night storage heaters , two wall-fixed convector panel heaters , four down flow heaters , new door bell ; repair of bathroom heated towel rail ; providing some related wiring , socket outlets , fused spurs , etc. . Carpenter/multitrades : one , on about 6 days/half-days : freeing/easing doors and windows , fixing new hanging rail in large fitted wardrobe , fixing new letterplate on front door , hanging two dozen pictures ; etc. . All concerned were very pleasant to have

Unexpectedly our central heating boiler needed renewal. The work was done promptly and satisfactorily. We had a clear explanation of the work to be done and the choices we could make. The system was checked thoroughly on completion and is running well to date.

An old gas boiler was replaced. The work was done cheerfully and competently and took the time allowed, two days. One small unpredictable fault, a leak in an old pipe which had not been replaced during the work, developed later. But Coulson's came and fixed it promptly without any shilly shallying.

3 bathrooms fitted in two houses Separate underfloor leak repaired and concrete floor made good. Radiators changed in different rooms. Guttering cleaned and repaired. New boiler fitted. Utility room refitted. Various plumbing works - new valves, pump, expansion vessel. Brickwork repairs. All the works were carried out in line with the written quote and timescale. All Coulson staff arrive promptly, work to a high standarad and leave the premises clean and tidy.

They modernised my en-suite bathroom in 2014 removing a Jacuzzi, laying a sloping floor to provide a wet room for a walk-in shower, building an airing cupboard plus a cupboard for the washing machine. Also installed a sensowash ( W.C. cum Bidet). In 2015 in the cloakroom they replaced the bath with a walk-in shower. They arrived at agreed times and tidied up very well at the end of each day. I was kept informed of progress and any problems.
