I have known and used Cure Double Glazing Repairs over a number of years for a variety of different jobs. Without exception this is what has always happened: You call them or write for a discussion on the problems. They always reply or call back promptly and are happy to "guesstimate" rough prices based on worst cases about what you tell them. They arrange and keep appointments, prompt arrival. They clearly explain the "could be" causes of problems and, perhaps more important, advise on potential costs depending on the actions they will take. Once work is underway they seem to be very efficient. Dust sheets and vacuum cleaning ensure they leave the site clean and tidy. Today's tasks included fitting a new front door handle set and aligning the lock mechanism and re-jigging a pair of french window style doors which now operate more smoothly than when first installed around 8 years ago. I won't give actual costs for these jobs because each job Cure undertakes is likely to be a bit different and so different prices would apply. But what cannot be disputed is that their bill seemed to be very reasonable considering their travel costs, materials, time on-site and, of course, their undeniable expertise. And, naturally, Dave is a real gent and a pleasure to deal with. Brilliant. Thanks - I shall call again if other jobs arise.

Our conservatory was built by a firm which is no longer trading. We are pleased with it but after more than ten years it needed some attention. He turned up on the appointed day with a colleague, and carried out all the repairs for the quoted price. The service and advice he provides is efficient, polite, and practical. They came today to look at a window which would not close. They told me there is no adjustment in the hinges and it has bowed slightly, but if I went outside and pushed slightly up as well as it in might shut. That was it. they left. I tried it and it worked. Thanks

I've used this company twice now, having bought a house and then discovered most of the windows didn't open due to various faults that had occurred over the 20+ years since they were installed. Cure came out quickly, explained what was wrong with each one and then returned to do the work at a later date, having provided me with a quote. They were very polite and professional in their work and left no mess behind - now all windows work like new. When I later discovered another window was misting up inside I had no hesitation in calling Cure again and they changed the glass unit and matched up the leadwork pattern inside so you'd never know it'd been replaced. Dave even fixed my stiff door handle on the way out at no extra cost as it was annoying him! Very highly recommended!
