Couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, capable and friendly team. Packing and move over two days, Groves doing all the incredibly hard work. I brought far too much stuff with me, couldn’t seem to make decisions, but they faithfully and safely brought it all - now I have to make those decisions, but I can do so at my leisure. Move (350 miles and storage) completed most satisfactorily under initially difficult circumstances. Efficient, clean and professional. No complaints and communication excellent.

The move was stress free. Quick. And really professional. The movers knew how to take apart furniture and put it back together. They can on time and finished sooner than I thought.

After considerable research we chose this local removals company for our relocation project that was undertaken over four days. We opted for their 'packing fragiles service' on top of the basic removal offer. Anthony and his team are very experienced and a pleasure to work with, despite our last minute unavoidable schedule changes, challenging access and grim weather conditions on the packing and loading days. Their logistics plan was plainly explained to us in advance and was executed professionally, with any changes accommodated without fuss or cost review. Groves were recommended to us and we used them for a local move. We have made a considerable downsize with some furniture staying in the house, some coming with us and some going to charity. The team took all this in their stride and everything ended up where it was supposed to be. The team were very professional; experts in moving some very heavy pieces and happy to accommodate a change of mind on the placing of some items. The job went extremely well and I felt in very capable hands at a very stressful time. Would not hesitate to recommend.

All those in the office were very helpful polite and very efficient. The guys were great quick helpful and very funny when loading the lorry and more so when unloading. So professional they definitely knew their job. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We used Groves for 2 residential moves. The first move was from our large 15th century Hall House where we had lived for 21 years. A third of our items went to our temporary (2 years) accommodation while two-thirds went into storage. Then, from our temporary accommodation, we moved to our present home which meant adding the items in storage to our ‘new’ home. The Groves ‘system’ was extremely efficient and easy to work with. The management team were very cooperative and helpful. The removal van workers were all extremely friendly, cooperative and caring. Groves Removals and Container Storage are the most 100% excellent team that we have been fortunate enough to use and interact with ever. (Having moved many times in the UK and abroad)

We haven't moved in 23 years and were a bit rusty on what really matters for a removal company. We were recommended to DC Groves & Sons as a reliable local company. We were not disappointed. From the first meeting of the team (also the patience from the office in agreeing a date with the uncertainties of a long chain), especially from Andy the lead, we were guided through the process and they gave us immediate confidence. The move took 4 days with a weekend in between. Access was not easy and all issues that arose were dealt with humour and effectiveness. We could not recommend them more. Thanks.

DC Groves moved our furniture and contents in a local house move. They packed up all the furniture we identified to be moved together with virtually all the contents of the house. Everything was delivered in good condition with considerable care taken to install the furniture in our newly decorated and carpeted new house. DC Groves moved the furniture from my previous house in Berkshire. They packed up the whole house for us and stored everything for well over a year. They moved some to a home in Derbyshire for my parents and then finally for me to our house in Hythe. Everything (including two pianos) was delivered in pristine condition. Their service was always professional, friendly and helpful and carried with a smile. The crews were really and flexible and accommodated a couple of changes of mind about where things should be put! We were moving locally and had been in our previous house for 12 years. The team packed and moved us. It was our first time using a packing service and it was amazing. The team turned up the day before the move and by the end of the day everything, apart from essentials, was packed and gone! We didn't need to prepare anything. Almost fully unpacked now and nothing is broken, so great care taken when packing. The entire team, including the office, were friendly, helpful and efficient. Not planning on moving again for a LONG time, but would use them again if we do. Thank you so much, it removed some of the stress that comes with moving.

I had things all over the place but the men packed it all for me in boxes. They were polite and pleasant. It was pouring with rain with arrived at the destination property but the men cheerfully moved everything in for me and completed everything the same day. They went above and beyond.
