My 10+ year Glowworm boiler had it's annual maintenance and all clear in October undertaken by my regular plumber, but as it continued to make occasional noises which sounded like a helicopter, I contacted Dan, the recommended local heating engineer on Glowworm's website. It turns out my old boiler had been leaking for some time and had other issues. Dan installed my new Glowworm boiler as well as undertaking the necessary remedial work to comply with regulations in one day. While installing the new boiler, Dan had noticed damp patches round the cold water tank in the loft. As it wasn't clear at first where the water was coming from, a couple of adjustments were made and over the next days the situation was monitored. By Sunday late afternoon, the water had started to discolour and lift the ceiling paper in the bedroom below. Dan came round without hesitation, was able to identify the issue and over the next hour, stopped the leak. I highly recommend Dan, he is friendly and approachable, keeps you informed and explains what is going on. Dan is methodical and very professional and the fact that he is prepared to deal with issues on a Sunday evening makes him exceptional.

I called Dan to sort a problem with my boiler which had decided to take several days off. Dan traced the problem replaced some parts including the central heating pump coaxed the boiler into working again after it's short vacation and hey presto we have hot water and heating. Dan was quick, conscientious and took the time to check the rest of the system. All in all a pleasure to deal with. Top Marks from me.

Dan is a very efficient plumber. Installed radiators and a new boiler system. Always got back to me on any questions. Would not hesitate to recommend him, as he thinks about the work and makes suggestions so really ensures the job is done properly.Rare these days! Dan was recommended by the Glowworm webservice as a local engineer and provided a boiler repair, boiler service and some additional plumbing work, all to an excellent standard. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, good value and everything was left clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Dan was super friendly throughout the whole process of removing our previous very old boiler and installing a new one in a brand new location. He carefully considered the best way to get the work done, and gave advice on what was worth doing and what wasn't. Dan did a great job in getting my boiler up and running again. I had received 3 different diagnosis but Dan was the one who got it right and sorted it without any fuss, quickly and efficiently. I have used Dan for nearly 10 years now, he replaced a previous boiler and carried out the work quickly and professionally without a hitch. On previous occasions, he has responded quickly to any call out for help. On one Bank Holiday, I called him regarding a leak and he cancelled his trip out with friends to come and stop the leak within half an hour of my call. We have used them for a number of years and he has been a brilliant plumber and gas engineer. He is so good when it comes to dealing with tenants at short notice. He all ways gets to them as quick as he can. We have had new boilers fitted. servicing .dripping taps you name it when it comes to plumbing they have dealt with it for us.

Dan helped out and replaced a boiler in my new house despite him having a heavy work load of his own. His work was of the highest standard and despite him having short notice he completed the job in a professional and efficient manner. Daniel was recommended by a family member. I was struggling to find a suitable plumber to fix a leaky tap. Not only did Daniel respond swiftly to my initial request but managed to accommodate my issue swiftly. The work was carried out with very little fuss, no inconvenience to me and to a high standard. In advance of carrying out the work I really appreciated his advice on the taps to purchase and our options for the toiler cistern. His work is top quality and I was very impressed with his no fuss approach, which has not been my recent experience using other tradespeople recommended by other sites. My hot water stopped working and therefore was keen on servicing my boiler to see if this would resolve the issue. Dan kindly accommodated me although he had a full week of jobs and came round the next day. He was courteous, respectful and efficient and the hot water issue was rectified. He also gave us free advice about another issue! Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Dan Clark fitted a new Vaillant boiler for me on 15.09.2015 in my ground-floor flat, replacing a 20-year-old Potterton. He completed the work in one day, and left the site immaculate. This was the second big job that Dan did for me, having fitted a new WC the previous month. He is an expert at plumbing and installation work. He kept strictly to his schedule, despite the delays and restrictions caused by Covid. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

A really efficient service. Quickly assessed the problem with my leaking sink and went to get a new part there and then. Couldn’t ask for more really!

Arrived on time, quickly diagnosed and fixed the fault (a failed motor in a value).

Our boiler developed a leak at a particularly inconvenient time. We hadn’t used Dan before and could not have been happier with the service he provided. He made time to identify the problem and to return the same day with the spare part. He is pleasant and polite and charged a fair price for the job.

Daniel Clark agreed to come and replace the cracked WC in my bathroom at short notice, despite the fact he was very busy at the time. I had a so-called "Total Plus" Plumbing Policy with Sutton Water (SES), and I waited 6 weeks for them to come and replace the WC (which I accepted was chargeable), but they totally ignored me. The problem is that most Plumbers/Installers are only interested in replacing a whole bathroom, NOT just a WC. Dan did an excellent job, and the new WC is working perfectly. He stuck to his quote, came precisely at the time specified, and left the bathroom immaculate. He was friendly and courteous. I am so pleased with his work that I have asked him to replace my Boiler for me! I could not recommend him more highly.

I have used Dan for a boiler replacement and other works but this was my first major refurb. I cannot praise Dan and apprentice Harry enough. The whole job including supplying the “Trades” for flooring, tiling etc., was done without a hitch and apart from running over on time slightly due to supplies and the dreaded COVID the whole job was finished with the least possible disruption. After each day the place was left clean and tidy which was really impressive. I cannot recommend Dan highly enough.

Dan is the best plumber I have ever used. He is very knowledgeable. He always shows up and gets the job done. He works clean and tidy and nothing is ever a problem. He may not be the cheapest but he is the best!!! Wouldn’t dream of using anyone else as I’ve used him for several years. He’s plumbed new bathrooms, kitchens, underfloor heating but he’s also happy to take on smaller jobs like replace rads, boiler service, change taps etc. Quality work worth every penny.

Daniel carried out the work at short notice which was carried out in a workmanlike way. It was not straightforward because of the existing plumbing and the restricted access to the only place the pump could be located. The new pump is much quieter than the original one had ever been and which it replaced, this indicates the choice of pump was also an excellent decision. I would recommend Daniel to anybody who has complicated work similar to mine and I will seriously consider using him for any future plumber/ heating engineer related work that I need done.

Dan fixed our kitchen underfloor heating very quickly by identifying the problem and fortunately having the spare part. Very efficient, very pleasant and would definitely recommend him.

The job was replacing the unusual design outlet pipe on a bathroom basin. It was not a large job but it was very well done, efficiently and swiftly carried out, and not expensive.

We are absolutely delighted with the work recently completed by Dan and Harry. Apart from the inevitable noise and inconvenience, they were no trouble at all while carrying out their work, and just got on with things quickly and efficiently. They worked very hard to remove the existing bath, shower, basin & lavatory unit, replacing them with a larger shower and new stylish vanity unit & matching loo. Dan was very patient and helpful accommodating my wishes. We decided not to replace the bath as it was pretty much a redundant feature. Dan & Harry always left our home completely spotless at the end of each visit, which was a big plus. Dan organised for all necessary plastering, skirting & decorating, we found all of the tradesmen involved to be equally professional and as committed as Dan. We are so happy with Dan's service that we have invited him back to install a new boiler later in the year.

Had a smart meter fitted last week and they found there was a hole in the flue which is very dangerous. Dan and his team were excellent and fitted new one. They were reliable polite informative and did a great job. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Contacted Dan to do a boiler service, after contacting him had a problem with a Ball Valve not working and causing the tank to overflow. Contacted Dan and he bought forward the boiler service and came and solved the overflow problem and did the boiler service plus detected a gas leak and repaired that!!! Could not have been more helpful and a really pleasant chap. We are so pleased to have found an excellent local plumber and cannot recommend him highly enough.
