Just had our 35 year tatty old kitchen completely replaced after putting it off for far too long. We have been aware of D&M Kitchens for many years and have driven past their showroom in Knowl Hill hundreds of times before eventually deciding to call in. Although not as grand as the big names, it was packed full of the latest ideas and inspiration. Met the owners (Michael, Ryan and Lauren) and were very impressed with their knowledge, experience and lack of "pressure selling". After a fairly lengthy process of refining the excellent CAD drawings and visualisations provided by Ryan, we went ahead and ordered, very confident that the agreed specification fitted our requirements exactly. The installation took a little over four weeks, which, considering it included gutting the old kitchen/utility, was quite expected. The two kitchen fitters (Robert and Julian) were superb; their standard of workmanship and attention to detail was exemplary. They were also nice chaps to have around as they were very considerate of our property and privacy whilst minimising the inevitable disruption associated with such a big project. The end result is absolutely stunning and not just met our expectations, but exceeded them by some margin. The final invoice amount was as agreed with the exception of a couple of extras that we requested during the installation. In summary, our experience with D&M Kitchens has been totally positive, and we would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.

From start to finish the D&M team of Ryan, Robert and Julian were professional, friendly and efficient. Their service went beyond our expectations and they took great pride in their work and in delivering a superb finish. We would not hesitate in recommending them.

In 1994 was my first experience of D&M Kitchens. In 2005 I recommended a friend, and after 20 years the kitchen today still looks impressive. In 2016 and now in 2025, D&M kitchens are installed in both my properties, which were straight forward with no problems or hidden costs. It is a family business, with Michael now in the background, with his son Ryan and daughter Lauren your regular contacts until your kitchen is complete. You’re in safe hands with their installer; Julian who is the same person who installed my kitchen back in 1994. Their site surveys are very comprehensive, not only measurements of the room, but the cooker electrical supply and fuses are check to ensure the up-to-date standards are met. You have a complete package with no hidden extras like installation costs unlike some companies. Once you have a quote from D&M, who rely on personal recommendations. I suggest that you compare like for like with quotes from other companies who advertise on the TV channels with their special offers.

We found this local firm through trusted trader. They were always available on the phone and they have an impressive showroom in Knowle Hill on the A4. Their quotation was quick and reasonable. They provided sensible advice on choice of materials. They quoted quickly and started within a few days. Ryan provided overall supervision and the work was carried out by Robert and Julian. Both fitted in well and the carpentry they carried out was very good. Accounts were submitted quickly and accurately and they were so easy around the house. The final product was just what we hoped for. We would use them again and can recommend them warmly. A well organised, small family firm!

D&M Kitchens were great from start to finish. Ryan was very patient in talking me through my options and I didn't feel pressured at all. I decided to have a partial kitchen refurbishment and the work was finished to a very high standard with excellent attention to detail. Julian and Robert worked so hard, were always on time and worked efficiently and tidily. The work was completed on time and I am a very happy customer - thank you so much!

D and M Kitchens provided a really great service right from the start. Ryan provided draft plans which were amended readily several times when we gave feedback and discussed what we needed as ideas evolved. A visit to the showroom was helpful to look at doors and worktops etc. The fitters Robert and Julian can't be praised enough - they were tidy workers and fitted the kitchen working through various issues along the way to come up with the best solution. We are delighted with our new kitchen, which is admired by our visitors. I've been recommending D and M to lots of friends locally who are considering kitchen upgrades.

Now our children are all settled with their own houses we wanted to use the kitchen better, have more storage and worktop area. We knew it would be expensive and set our budget which was never divulged or asked for, but when you're newly retired it was to be our treat as previous kitchens were always done to a minimalist budget. We visited D&Ms showroom and were instantly made to feel at ease to look around. No sales chasing or pushing and when ready we asked questions and Lauren was very helpful and never tried selling things to us. We arranged a visit by Ryan to discuss our ideas and see what thoughts he had. All no pressure and pleasant. We felt part of their family and pressed ahead. Robert & Julian, the fitters, came round for a look to check things out several months before starting and spotted one or two issues that we could think about. Our project was to last 6 to 7 weeks. When R&J started it really was a pleasure to have them with us. They started early and invariably did a solid 8 to 9 hours work per day, 5 days per week, very chatty and always polite. Their attention to detail and thought about placements of cupboards and appliances is excellent and helpful. Lauren does the plans and they constantly review the planning and suggest little tweaks - it really does come down to mm. All done on time and to the agreed cost. A few snags which were sorted quickly. It's a pleasure to sit in the kitchen every day, look at it and enjoy it. A great team, Thank you D&M.

Robert and Julian and other specialists replaced our existing laminate kitchen worktops with granite and carried out a number of other improvements. Throughout the works they were punctual, courteous, friendly, and extremely skilled and hard working. We were very pleased indeed with the result. We should also mention that Ryan and his colleagues in D & M Kitchens showroom at Knowl Hill were very helpful (and patient!) during the lengthy process of choosing the granite which was finally installed.

Our 16 year old kitchen was starting to look tired, so we asked D&M to quote for various elements to be replaced or refurbished. Ryan listened to what we were asking for and made sensible suggestions, and when quoting, gave us prices for the various options exactly as we had requested. In the end, he clearly did a good selling job, as we went for a full refurbishment, consisting of replacing all the original doors and drawer fronts with new painted veneered doors, removing an ugly cooker hood and squeezing in a modern built-in extractor in a two-door cupboard, replacing the gas hob and microwave, and also finding a suitable replacement sink that fitted the hole in the worktop. The carcasses, tiling and worktops were left unchanged. Julian and Robert, the fitters were prompt, hard-working, polite and tidy, and did an amazing amount of work in the two and a half days the job took. Any questions were dealt with quickly, the price quoted was the price charged and the work was done as per the original schedule. We are really delighted with the look and finish, and really can't fault D&M as a business.

I cannot praise D & M Kitchens enough. From my very first contact at their showrooms I was impressed with the help they gave me in sorting out exactly what I wanted. There was no "Hard Sell" which I really appreciated. Robert and Julian the fitters arrived promptly every day and worked hard throughout the day doing the work I had asked plus solving any problems that arose. They cleared up thoroughly every evening before they left and on the day they finished I thought they were going to vacuum the whole house!!. Their workmanship was excellent and i would definitely recommend them to all my friends (something I have already done). First class, 10/10 - Excellent job. I am really enjoying my new kitchen.

D&M Kitchens are an independent family run business and as such offer a very personnel service. From the start Ryan was helpful on choosing the right units and appliances. Julian and Robert the fitters have a fantastic work ethic they are multi-skilled and take great pride in their work, always on time very helpful at sorting out any problems that cropped up along the way. The quartz worktop installers were also extremely skilled and made a perfect fit on our uneven walls. The project went like clockwork due to Ryan’s schedule and they were even finished a day earlier than expected. The kitchen turned out better than we could ever have hoped for and would highly recommend D&M Kitchens and the team.

Ryan and team from D&M Kitchens carried out a five week fit of our 40m2 kitchen/dining area, including stripping back to brick/bare floor and replastering. This was a big change with large impact for any family home. The team were great from beginning to end, managing us in the right ways to get the right outcome, and the result is fabulous. The fitters were especially appreciated, not least because they were the hardest working most multi-skilled tradesmen, but because their attitude, helpfulness and friendliness was superb. It is worth mentioning that I worked from home throughout (with the help of some noise cancelling headphones that were only really necessary for week one). This actually helped a great deal as I was able to make timely response to necessary decisions. The downside was the house felt truly empty when they left. The couple of issues experienced (with subcontractor supplied flooring and a poorly built microwave) were dealt with quickly and professionally by all parties and we are satisfied with the result. All in all, the service from this family run local business was superb. Ryan and the fitters guided us to the right choices. Project planning and execution was spot on; every delivery milestone was hit. In summary, we would thoroughly recommend this team for your kitchen refit.

From the first moment of walking into the showroom, through to the completion of the job the service provided by D&M Kitchens has been professional, friendly, and to an excellent standard. There was no pressure of sale, just helpful advice. No rush for decisions, just plenty of support. The job was booked in and ran on time. The fitter(s) were extremely hard working, tidy and thoughtful and nothing was too much effort. And the aftercare was second to none, no problem was too small to fix. Very happy with my kitchen & would absolutely recommend.

We selected D&M Kitchens as they were "Which recommended" and local. Ryan was helpful in providing advice on kitchen planning, and on materials, kitchen units and appliances. The kitchen was installed on time, and the two fitters - Robert and Julian were extremely hardworking and professional in all that they did. They also provided advice as well. After 37 years our old kitchen is no more, and we are very happy with our new one.

We have almost completed a major project - knocking a utility, kitchen and dining room into one big kitchen diner. D&MKitchens helped us with the design, including our bespoke larder which Julian fitted beautifully. Throughout the project we have been impressed with communication and courtesy from Ryan and also the design aspect from Lauren. Looking at our overall spend against what we have ended up with, I am more than happy that we decided to go with D&M Kitchens for our new kitchen. The transformation from our old run down kitchen is far better than I could ever have imagined. The entire D&M team has done a great job right from design and planning through to installation and we are very happy with our new kitchen and we can't wait to start using it and showing it off to our friends and family! D&M Kitchens are a family-run business, with down to earth, friendly and hard working people. There is a good selection of products available and Ryan worked with us to find a refurb solution to meet our budget. Rob and his team were outstanding in the refit. No obstacle was too large, they found some great solutions and made really good additions to the kitchen. Absolutely delighted with the quality and fitting. The kitchen looks brilliant, thank you!

We had new Corian worktops and associated work. Ryan was helpful throughout, accurate in the estimate and in good communication. The fitters were also very good with a can do attitude e.g. resolving problem with hanging of existing kitchen cupboard doors and fridge door. Recommended.

We first used D & M Kitchens 23 years ago. They did a brilliant job of totally gutting the kitchen and installing new kitchen units, floor and wall tiling. 23 years later we definitely needed a kitchen upgrade. We found D & M as professional as ever. They installed new kitchen units in some areas, as we wanted to slightly change the layout and replacement cupboard doors on existing carcasses in the rest of the kitchen. Floor and wall tiling was changed. They are a friendly team and very trustworthy. They completed the installation within the agreed timeframe and the final invoice was as agreed upfront. We would definitely recommend them.

We had a new kitchen fitted by D & M Kitchens and have no hesitation in recommending this highly experienced local company and would be happy to use their services in the future. The scope of the project involved recourse to D & M’s particular trusted outside traders, but successful project management ensured that both these and their own services were coordinated so that there was no overrun on the original quoted timescale. This at a time when external supplies could not be relied upon. The kitchen was stripped from floor to ceiling and from start to finish everything was completed with the utmost professionalism, attention to detail, faultless craftsmanship and respect for the rest of the property. Expert fitters, taking great pride in their work, arrived promptly every day. We were updated on their personal daily targets and what would be happening the next day and beyond. We were consulted and advised on any issues arising with due consideration given to our needs for access to power and water facilities. Telephone and email enquiries were handled quickly and efficiently. Service in both the showroom and on the job was friendly and responsive and also accepting of changing requirements as the job progressed. From planning, design and fitting the work was carried out to a professional standard and all time scales were met. From our first visit to the showroom we felt we could trust the team, as they were able to answer all our questions and give us guidance and were very knowledgeable when we asked about the appliances, worktops and cabinets. All the team were very helpful and communication was good. Our fitter Robert was exceptional in his work, explaining everything as he worked, always cheerful, on time and worked very hard. He gave us all the information we needed when everything was fitted and the how to use and look after kitchen and appliances. We are very pleased with the kitchen and the whole experience was faultless. Would definitely recommend this Company to friends and family.

D&M Kitchens did a partial refurbishment of our kitchen, including installing a new double oven, cooker hood and fridge, moving the hob and altering and renewing associated cupboards, drawers and units. Ryan was very helpful with his advice when planning the job, listened to what we wanted and didn’t try to talk us into a bigger job. They were able to come sooner than originally estimated, finished on time and charged us exactly the estimated price. Julian’s workmanship was impeccable and he went to great trouble to see that everything was finished off perfectly. We couldn’t be more satisfied.

We purchased extra units after a 12 year gap from initial installation. D&M gave us the same service regardless of the order size. They provided colour options that would blend in and suggested different options to enhance the space. The installation was meticulous. A blemish in cupboard door was identified and replacements ordered. No question of paying final instalment until the job was fully completed. They do have a busy schedule and the office, showroom and installers all work in unison. They are essentially all related and work to the same exacting standards. Highly recommended
