From the first contact, Carl has been very helpful, with good communication throughout and were able to arrange a visit quickly. My basic problem was damaged underfloor heating due to building work at my home and finding a specialist underfloor heating specialist proved tricky. Electricians wouldn't touch it...nor plumbers. Massive relief to find DC TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS in Cheshire. Dave and Carl simply couldn't have been more professional and helpful. Dave and Carl of DC Technical Solutions Uk Ltd came to identify why part of our underfloor heating wasn’t working (via Warm Up). We have been putting off getting an engineer out for 10 years because of concerns of damage to many tiles and maybe not being able to find the error (and therefore not getting it repaired). We needn’t have worried! Dave rang me 4 days ago to schedule the appointment as he was going to be in my area. He explained what was going to happen and answered my questions and concerns in advance of the visit. He gave me a short time window of when he hoped to be with me and on the day (today) called ahead to give me an even more accurate time and to say he was en route. Both Dave and his colleague Carl were extremely positive in their attitude, personable and very professional and kept us informed throughout the whole process. They explained what they were going to do, asked approval to lift a single tile, showed us the fault, repaired it, cleaned up any minimal mess and showed us that the whole of the floor was now working perfectly. They also emailed me photographs they had taken to show the error and repair. They just got on with the job in hand and very soon they were on their way. My under floor heating has not been working for some time, but we have had two company’s look at it ( but did not seem to know what to do). However, today two guys arrived from DC technical solutions Ltd at the arranged time and within the first few minutes we felt in safe hands. Both were extremely professional both in attitude and to the job. They communicated to us through the whole job and were professional, skillful and competent throughout. They found the fault, removed tiles, fixed the fault, refitted tiles and tested floor. They cleaned up after finishing . I am sixty eight and it has been a long time since we had such a professional job done by pleasant staff. We both would recommend this company to any one. If you need a good job by lovely guys try them I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Carl & Dave arrived on time, explained what they would be doing, were happy to show me the heating element using their thermal imaging camera and then tested the system. They were polite, efficient and professional throughout and tidied up before leaving. Instilled confidence throughout--thank you

Very efficient service from first contact to completion of job very professional. Underfloor heating element break, identified accessed with minimum mess or disruption, repair completed within minutes. System tested and proved, no need to lift the whole floor to make repair. We have now had DC Technical Solutions repair 2 separate faults in our bathroom floor (due to a poor installation job by the builders 5 years ago) and on both occasions, they have expertly located the fault and, very fortunately for us, been able to repair the connection without destroying any of the tiles. They are efficient, responsive, utterly reliable and very skilled and, as far as I am aware, the only company able to undertake this work in Edinburgh. I cannot recommend them too highly

Did not know underfloor heat mats could be repaired, especially with a tiled floor. However online searches showed that it was not only possible to locate a fault, but also repair with a ‘repair section’ with a minimum of disruption. Further online searches put me in touch with Carl of DC Technical Solutions (UK) Ltd, who provided a fixed price for the repair, which included: Locate fault(s) Lift tile(s) to expose fault Make repair Test repair Reinstatement of tiling is down to householder, but I think that is pretty obvious. I was happy to go ahead with the repair and a date arranged. Just to be clear, DC Technical Solutions cover the U.K, so so you cannot expect them to turn up just like that, so a wait of a few weeks maybe required, to allow them to book several jobs in the same area to make it cost effective, which I believe is very reasonable. Carl turned up with his partner Dave, who, despite just having a long journey after an early start, were keen to get on with the job. I admit to being sceptical about fault location under a tiled flooring, but Carl, using specialised equipment was able to quickly pinpoint fault. Tile was lifted and repair conducted. I was kept fully advised of what was going on and how the job would proceed. After the repair I was shown cause of fault and shown post repair tests and functionality. I have to remark on how clean Carl and Dave worked and left the site. Very pleased with their work and happy with cost.

DC Technical Solutions were referred to me by a close friend who knew we had been having major issues with our electric underfloor heating in our kitchen diner. Other specialist companies had previously inspected it and said that it was “beyond economical repair” so we were faced with deciding whether to rip up our Amtico floor and the heating system and start again or install radiators. Carl from DC Technical Solutions responded to my call straight away and could not have been more helpful or reassuring stating that it’s very rare they can’t find a solution. Within less than one hour of arriving on site they had identified the problem areas which were largely due to the wire connections under the floor being damaged in 3 out of the 6 zones. Amtico flooring was removed as carefully as possible but was always going to need replacement. The affected areas were neatly exposed and the joints repaired very professionally. Carl and Dave were the consummate professionals throughout, with regular communication to me at every stage to explain what they had found and how they proposed to repair it. Within 4 hours we had a system working to 100% capacity in all 6 zones. Carl and Dave tidied up after themselves at every stage and left the kitchen immaculate. I cannot recommend DC Technical Solutions highly enough. This is a specialist discipline and it is very hard to find experts like this who were considerate and friendly throughout.

I had a problem with the underfloor heating in my new flat. I couldn't find anyone in Bristol to look at it and so got in touch with DC Technical Solutions, after a recommendation from another tenant. Although there was a long wait for them to come, they kept in touch and turned up on time. They were thorough, knowledgeable and efficient. They explained the system to me clearly and went through every room with me, checking each sensor etc was working. Although the bill was considerable, I knew what to expect as they had let me know in advance. They had to travel a considerable distance and stay overnight. They checked everything and fixed the initial problem, as well as fixing a thermostat which would have failed in the near future. I now know much more about the system and it is working perfectly.

From initial contact to the engineer visit DC Technical Solns got the balance exactly right. Swift response to my original requests and desire to see if my they could repair my underfloor heating - and essential element to heating our bathroom. They were clear on their technical approach and costs - transparent, helpful and responsive. They coordinated with me to find the right date and time and kept me up to date with their expected arrival time (to match my own availability) including contacting me ahead of arrival to check. The engineer found the fault quickly and efficiently - looking to minimise any disruption and damage to existing installations - explaining everything along the way and even talking me through some of the technical aspects (I like that sort of thing). The fault was repaired - and then the engineer went above and beyond, covering with tile adhesive to add protection (this is not part of the agreed work) including where the original installers had cut corners and left element exposed. I was shown the working floor visually on the FLIR (heat scanner) and all the electrics were checked even back to the RCD on the consumer unit (again above and beyond expectations) Friendly, helpful, responsive and most of all - highly effective and value for money. My underfloor heating failed and I thought I might have to excavate the floor and re-do the whole thing. Dave and his colleague found the fault straight away, removed the tile and repaired it. They tested the heating and let me see the coils heating up - all back to normal. A very efficient, fuss free and professional service. They really know their stuff and I would definitely recommend them.

I rang Karl for experienced and independent advice re-installation of electric underfloor heating. He spent time to carefully answering all questions regarding the wattage per square meter and what sort of thermostat - having also taken time to ask about room size, age of property and insulation, and was very thorough and knowledgeable. Two excellent guys, arrived on time traced the fault and carried out the repair. They explained everything they were doing and how their equipment worked and took pictures of the damage and repairs forwarding the photos to me. I would definitely recommend them. It was a fixed price so I knew the cost prior to the job.

Very professional 2 faults located under the tiles within 5 mins. They removed the tiles repaired the heating wires, tested, the whole process took about 1 hour I had the spare tiles to replace them and the price was nearly half of other quotes I had. Very happy with the job.

Originally had an arranged date of 26/11/21 to look at our underfloor heating issue. Was very surprised when Dave called to say they could come earlier if convenient and a new date of 08/11 was arranged. I was contacted by Dave in the morning to confirm we were still okay for him to call and he gave an ETA which was really good. Dave was very polite and explained everything he would be doing to find the fault and repair. The overall cost is a bit expensive but this is a specialised market with not much competition. If only they could replace the tile they had to remove it would have saved me 3 weeks of trying to find a tiller. Ended up replacing it myself. Overall service was excellent and I can highly recommend them.

We had a bathroom underfloor heating failure. I had no expectations that it was fixable! This excellent duo set up their diagnostic equipment, rather like a physics lab! The fault was located with precision and was expertly fixed without any residual mess at a later appointment. It is no surprise that they are in demand for this niche work. Not only are they competent and very pleasant but they are also able to explain the technicalities clearly.

This floor was installed a year ago, and even after calling in a 2nd fitter, I had not been able to operate it. Desperate now with a second winter starting, I called ProDigital the floor supplier, who recommended DC Technical. They were not local, but I had to take a chance, and did I get it right! They arrived as promised, to the minute, tested the installation, and there were no problems with the installation. But they did find a wiring issue with the control panel, soon rectified, then set about programming it to my requirements. They then demonstrated to me the numerous options available, with a final few words, "Just call us if you have any problems!" Just what I wanted to hear, as it might not be until Spring that I have to make changes, when I would have to rely on memory. UNBEATABLE SERVICE
