We cannot recommend Derwent highly enough. Every aspect of the work carried out renovating a number of large stained glass windows in our late Victorian house was excellent: quality of the product, craftsmanship, efficiency and cleanliness of the installation, and customer service throughout the project. Advice and guidance, and communication from the Derwent team were also outstanding from initial discussions to completion.

We recently used Derwent Sash windows to install Origin bi fold doors and windows. Their professionalism and customer care are excellent. All the staff that we dealt with have been very helpful and efficient. The doors and windows look outstanding and have completely exceeded our expectations. Particular thanks must go to Alister, Andy and Jan who are a huge asset to the company and have stayed in touch constantly throughout the ordering and installation process. Also the professionalism of the installation team and cleanliness in their work was equally as impressive. We also had between the glass blinds fitted by Derwent Sash windows and these really show the quality of the doors and windows. We are extremely impressed with this company and wouldn't use anyone else.

We first used Derwent nearly 3 years ago to replace the door and windows at the front and then just recently to replace the rear windows. Both times they have been spot on and I would definitely recommend them without hesitation. As others have said, they came in slightly more expensive than other firms but their attention to detail on the fitting and finishing touches is outstanding. The first time, we had two windows knocked into one and they plastered, trimmed stonework etc and now you wouldn't know there was once two windows there. Second time they had a high window to replace on a stairwell but handled the challenge with ease. They are very friendly and super tidy, minimal touching up of paintwork needed. Thank you.

After Derwent replaced our front windows about 10 years ago - a job we were very pleased with - we decided to use them again to replace our ageing rear windows with wood-effect uPVC (in our opinion, it looks just as good as painted wood, and there is a lot less maintenance). We made 2 or 3 visits to the showroom, where there are comprehensive displays of all the ranges they sell. They deal only in high-quality frames, so this is not the firm to use if you are looking for cheap double glazing. Service throughout was helpful and courteous, with good and frequent communication by e-mail and phone. One window required stained glass, and they directed us to a local expert company to choose the glass colours. The installers work long days and just get on carefully and expertly with the job, including moving and protecting furniture etc., and cleaning up at the end of each day. We are very pleased with the appearance and quality of the finished installation. A courtesy call from Andy today to ensure we were happy was a nice touch.

We had a 'Timber Windows' front door with side panels and top light, a back door and an Evolution casement bathroom window fitted. The quality of the windows and doors was second to none. I had obtained quotes from other companies and although Derwent windows were more expensive than most, you definitely get what you pay for and I am so glad that I decided to use this company. Customer service was friendly and efficient and Jan was extremely helpful in answering my questions and making changes to my order along the way as I kept changing my mind! The fitters were friendly and professional and worked hard to get the job done. They created very little mess and tidied up after themselves. They removed our old doors and window very carefully avoiding any damage to external render and internal decoration. All in all we are delighted with the finished result.

Derwent supplied and fitted a new front door and surround for our 1920’s house. Very pleased with the appearance and quality of the product, the quality of the work done and the work ethic/conduct of the team who did the work.

So glad I made the journey to Ripley to see Derwent Windows. Had planned to used an installer locally but none of them return my call after quote stage. Derwent were brilliant from the moment I rang them. Arrange a time to visit their showroom and even what bus to catch to their showroom. A survey was done within a week of the visit. Their knowledge and customer care was so good, I put an order in straight away. The actually installation went smoothly. The fitter was great - explain everything that was going to happen and was so meticulous in the installation and tidied up afterwards. I am thrilled with my door. Wish I chosen them from the beginning. Thank you to all the team for their help!!!

Well, what a joy, what an experience, what a result. 'Period Orangery' built in 3 months to a high specification with large sash cord windows and lantern with tumbled facing bricks from north cot brick with fabulous Aluco doors linking to the main lounge. Derwent during the build period never missed a beat and their quiet focus on the quality of work and detail was ever-present. Beyond being built to architectural with this level of focus I was very proud to be part of the team. Anticipating a Jaguar, we have built a Bentley.
