Derwent Sash Windows Ltd t/a Derwent Windows and Doors

In my experience Derwent Windows appear to be a well managed company whose service is of a high quality at all levels through the whole workforce. From assessment to completion of the work they give attention to detail and always put the customer first. Yes they are more expensive than other companies offering window replacement but my belief is that it is well worth the extra expense to deal with a company that operate with integrity and employ a skilled and trained workforce. I recommend them without hesitancy.

After a couple of our neighbours had used Derwent Windows we decided to contact them and enquire what they could do for us. What an excellent experience from start to finish. Not just the range of window options, but the attention to detail, the communication process and of course the fitting of the windows. One particular point to note was the quality of the window fitters. They were an excellent bunch of guys. If anyone asks about our windows we have no hesitation in recommending Derwent Windows.

We had several windows replaced by Derwent Windows in 2020 and have just had another window replaced. Excellent service as before, with good communication. Work was carried out on agreed date, very efficient and careful installers. Very happy with the result. Would definitely recommend.

A first class product supplied and fitted by a first class company. Having used Derwent Windows previously we decided to approach the company to supply and fit the remaining windows in our property. Expert advice during the survey was given on the most appropriate type of windows. In this instance traditional casement rather than sash windows, two of which we had previously fitted by the company. Work was completed to the agreed schedule and budget despite some inclement weather conditions at times. The fitters were always considerate when in our home protecting fixtures and fittings at all times. Having used the company before we have found the aftercare excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Derwent Windows and will be using the company for future work.

New front door installed This company was efficient but friendly right from the beginning when looking at doors in their showroom. Once I had made my decision their representative came and took all the necessary measurements. I was then contacted when payments necessary and made aware of the length of time it could possibly be before door would be ready and could be installed . On e adapter arose it was all very smoothly done. Very conscientious about sheeting everything down and then cleaning up afterwards, workmanship was great, thoroughly pleased with my new door and rate this company very highly. Nice when folk are good at their job, efficient but friendly too, makes it the best.

Having used Derwent Windows for a number of projects last year we had no hesitation in using them to replace our old windows with new UPVC sash windows. From the initial surveying, quotation and planning stage through to the fitting of the windows we found the staff to be very professional. We were especially with the care and attention to detail of the wooden architrave finishing to the windows, not straight forward in an older house. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to you.

Found this company after lots of research for a replacement front door for our cottage, from our first visit to the showroom to completion of the fitting have nothing but praise for this company. Really good and knowledgeable advice, very prompt visit to measure and a surprisingly good quote , had expected higher. Really good at communicating re dates and fitting. The door was fitted by such friendly, polite,careful and skilful workers . A fabulous new door and we are 100% satisfied ! Can highly recommend this company.

Once again Rob, Alistair and their excellent workmen have come up trumps! We cannot praise them enough. This time we had twenty two sash windows replaced, the first time it was twenty. The installation was completed with the absolute minimum of fuss and disruption. From our first contact to book the work to the last squirt of sealant everything was done to perfection. The lads on site were cheerful, polite and expert at what they did. By the end they felt like part of our family! Many thanks to all concerned. Never mind recommending this company to friends we would insist they use you!! Since completing the window replacement, Derwent have replaced our old porch, and are about to replace all our external gates and doors. We are certain that they will do a tremendous job, as they always have.

We have used Derwent Sash Windows to replace all our original Sash windows, and their quality of work, product and service was excellent. The windows themselves look amazing and feel really substantial. The fitters not only did a great job putting the windows in, but they also left everything really tidy, the mess was cleaned up - unlike other tradesman we have had in - we cannot fault them on any level. These windows have been worth every penny, we highly recommend them.

Everything about having our new doors and sash windows fitted has been perfect. Right from the first visit to the showroom everyone has been really friendly and knowledgeable. The final fitted products look amazing and have been put in without any mess leftover (I've never known such tidy tradesmen). The guys have done a really good job and we couldn't be more pleased with how it all looks. Totally recommended from start to finish.
