Derwent Sash Windows Ltd t/a Derwent Windows and Doors

We recently had 2 new windows fitted by Derwent, previously they have fitted a new bay window and a door. Bespoke quality products fitted with care and attention to detail.

Everything went very smoothly from the search for what we wanted, deciding upon a design, ordering and paying for two sash windows. They were installed with the minimum of disruption, on the day appointed and within the timescale suggested. The installers were all very helpful, covered all surfaces on the stairs and in the rooms where the windows were to go, worked tidily , left things clean and were even prepared for the rain that fell. good follow up and attention throughout the whole process.

We had a new door and window fitted to a porch. The window and door were real quality products, a noticeable improvement over cheaper alternatives (you get what you pay for). Although the original installation date was missed (due to a problem at the manufacturers end), Derwent Windows pushed to get the door fitted before Christmas, which we were very pleased with. Thank you once again!

We have recently had a wooden stable door fitted in a stone cottage, by Derwent windows . This is a very good product from timber windows. Dougie the installer arrived promptly as arranged, the installation was first class in very poor conditions. Not the cheapest door available but the total service make this worthwhile. Highly recommend and would use this company again.

I cannot recommend Derwent Windows highly enough, the service is excellent from start to finish. I had a beautiful cottage door fitted by Dougie, who was extremely polite & helpful. The door was made exactly how I requested & nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Project went to plan. We chose our preferred door. Surveyor came out to measure and following his visit felt reassured that we’d made the right choice. Proof of the pudding though is installation. The installation team were first class and we are thrilled with the door. All round first class service and product.

We have recently had a brand new front door and stained glass top light fitted at our new house and we are delighted with the quality and look of the product and fitting. The communication after visiting the showroom was good and whenever I needed to call for an update and I could get straight through and speak to the person handling our order. We had a little hiccup along the way with some of the glass being damaged during removal however I cannot fault the service provided in response to this to get it resolved and we have ended up with an even better toplight as a result. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly the fitters workmanship is top quality. Overall, we are delighted with the door and service provided. I would 100% recommend.

We live in a conservation area, so planning permission was needed. Derwent Windows we’re helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process. From our first showroom visit to installation we found all staff professional. All deadlines were met, the installation went smoothly with care taken working around garden plants and tidying after. We are very pleased with the finished job, the sash windows look fabulous and no painting! We will use Derwent Windows again and would not hesitate to recommend the company.

The team from Derwent were on-site as planned, they completed the work on schedule and to a high standard both inside and out. Where some restoration work was required they completed this to a high standard and dealt with any unexpected issues that cropped up.
