Our independent plumbing, heating and gas company serves Chesterfield, Matlock, Bakewell, Dronfield and South Yorkshire. We strive to maintain our excellent reputation by exceeding customer expectations.

We undertake the installation, maintenance, service and repair of all makes/models of gas boilers and appliances, including LPG. From simple repairs to complete central heating installations, or a tap washer to complete bathroom renovations, from Homeowners Reports to Landlords Gas Safety Inspections, we provide a friendly, efficient and diligent service.

The Direct Gas company logo, the Which? Trusted Trader, Derbyshire Trusted Trader and Worcester accredited installer symbols are proudly emblazoned on our vans and our permanent highly skilled and experienced workforce are all Gas Safe Registered.

We contacted Direct Gas early in the morning when we realised that we had no hot water. We automatically reached out to them as they have previously carried out work for us, including both a new boiler and a bathroom conversion some years ago and we knew they would be reliable. We were not disappointed, later that day both Tim and Adrian arrived. They immediately diagnosed the issue and set about resolving it. It was such a relief when they said they had the correct part on the van and within a short space of time the hot water was working again. However, they then spent some minutes double checking all the hot water outlets to ensure they all worked correctly. As they cheerily waved goodbye, they reminded us to call them if any further issues arise. I would never recommend any other Gas and Plumbing Engineers. Their cheerful friendly and efficient service is second to none. A shout out to Marion in the office too, for her friendly reassurance she would organise an Engineer visit on the day.

Just had new bathroom sink fitted. Direct gas sourced the sink for me, which I was very grateful for. Their workmanship was excellent, so professional, neat and tidy. I sincerely recommend this company and I shall definitely use them again. Thank you Direct Gas.

Direct Gas Chesterfield were the best tradesmen I’ve worked with in a very long time! Advice, price and workmanship was excellent. They went above and beyond what was asked of them. Professional and personable. They arrived on the day , on time and finished a full gas central heating system in record time. Nothing too much, over came obstacles without a fuss and did a fantastic job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Direct Gas did an annual service for my gas boiler. They were on time, thorough and fairly priced. They helpfully responded very quickly after a different company attempted to service the boiler the previous day, and wrongly issued a safety notice and disconnected to try to get me to buy a new boiler. I had total confidence in Direct Gas, who carefully explained to me why all that was required was a regular service, which they carried out successfully and to my satisfaction. I will definitely be using Direct Gas in the future for my annual service.
