House extension. Demolishing a conservatory and constructing a new single story larger room on to the rear of our 1860's built bungalow. This involved under pinning and very deep footings all within a world heritage site. Also removing the old and relaying a new patio. Davydd was always reliable throughout the project, turning up everyday on time and working in all weathers. He was extremely reassuring when unexpected issues arose and completed the work on time and on budget. His calm manner and his in depth knowledge and skills minimised the stress of having this work done on our house. He dealt directly with the architect and civil engineer when issues arose after the build had started and also communicated with building inspectors so we didn't have to. The new extension matches and blends in with the original house and looks like it's always been there. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending D.O Construction for similar projects.

We undertook a major extension and modernisation of a 1730s listed thatched cottage. The project included completely new plumbing, electrics, kitchen extension, converting a car port into useable space including a ground floor wet room and utility room, and moving the main entrance back to the original location and building a porch. DO managed to project with our other tradesmen. This was a complex project taking around 6 months to complete and required a mix of new materials and reclaimed materials to comply with listed building requirements. DO Construction managed the full programme and completed the project to a very high end finish. Dav also built a bespoke kitchen seating area using his joiner skills and creative thinking to build something quite special. Above all he and his team were respectful and empathetic of us still living in the house. I have another project on an office conversion coming up next year and have asked DO to do this for me.

Over the course of 1 year I have used this company on three occasions, a total gut of bathroom and refit , a total gut of Kitchen and refit and finally a wrap around new build extension. All were given accurate quotes and start dates which were met on time . The quality of each job is top notch and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is as you want . They were punctual each morning at 8am and put in a full day's work each and every day until completion of job. Finally each member of the company are very polite, professional and respect your home whilst the work is carried out . I cannot recommend this company anymore highly first class.
