A leak had developed in the mains water supply to the house. Luckily, this was on the house side of the house's stopcock, and the leak was a pinhole one, so I could manage the water coming out. I contacted DPF the next morning ( Monday the 25th). Darren assessed the damage as soon as he could (late afternoon that day) and fixed the leak in the early evening of the 26th. Everything is now fine (plus I have a new, and freely operating, stopcock). Very pleased with both the result and the price.

Darren fitted my integrated dishwasher and changed a tricky toilet seat! Both jobs completed to a really high standard. Darren is reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend.

Called out DPF to quote on replacing some glass in the back bedroom, the team came in, measured up, and got back quickly with the quote. We then worked on a date that worked best for everyone. The team arrived on time and did all the work, and left the area as they found it. Can't fault them and even asked to quote for some more work, which they did with no issues.

The work was carried out to a very high standard by Sean. His manner was very professional and clean and tidy. The work was completed within the scheduled time and budget. Being elderly, I needed a bath to be removed and a walk-in shower to be installed. Everyone at DPF Property Services was helpful and efficient from the word go and couldn’t have been more concise in their planning and quotation. Darren and Sean were both totally professional, reliable, and diligent throughout the whole process ( sometimes under difficult conditions), and their aftercare was very reassuring. Darren and his team did various pieces of work for us following a flood, including the re-decoration of the kitchen, fixing and plumbing pipe work, installing a new shower pump and replacing some skirting boards. All the team were brilliant, worked very professionally and left the home immaculately at the end of each day. We have used DPF on a couple of occasions and have always found Darren’s knowledge and work of a high quality and really took the time to ensure that everything was perfect.

Ours is a thirty year old kitchen and utility. We had leaking taps in both rooms and a white composite double kitchen sink that was discoloured and with cracked waste. After a visit from Darren to assess the problems, we received a very detailed estimate by email and provisional date for work to be carried out. Subsequently Darren fitted two new taps, a ceramic double sink (all of which we chose from his brochures) as well as new waste fittings inside and out. I cannot praise highly enough the quality of his work; we were afraid that, as modern sinks are slightly larger than old ones, there might be trouble re-cutting worktop. Not so ! The finished results were a work of art. If you want perfection -- these are the people to use.

Darren installed a new floor in our bathroom. The job was complicated by the fact that the old flooring was not entirely even. It was necessary completely to take out all the old tiles, temporarily remove the toilet, and then lay a flat new base. Darren then installed a new wood-effect floor with appropriate trim. His approach to the work was meticulous and his workmanship was outstanding. I would unhesitatingly recommend Darren and his company for any home improvement job.

Darren was brilliant and went above and beyond with his service and time commitment. He refreshed the bathroom boxing, flooring and replaced broken tiles. I have previously used Darren for broken guttering and would definitely recommend for any homework needed.

Late one afternoon we were cleaning our conservatory and discovered a large gap alongside one of the polycarbonate roof panels. We contacted DPF Property Services and Darren was able to attend at short notice and out of hours to repair our conservatory roof. It transpired that one of the panels had slipped down out of position creating the gap and with rain expected imminently, we were so grateful for this being fixed urgently. We had a leak at the waste outlet of our shower. We phoned DPF Property Services early in the morning and were delighted when Darren said he could call and look at the problem that very morning! He found the cause of the leak very quickly and was able to re-seal it there and then. Impressive service and at a reasonable cost. Apparently DPF can deal with all aspects of Home Maintenance, so a useful phone number to have handy! Definitely 5-star service.

Having successfully resolved our blocked kitchen drain from the sink a few months ago, we followed Darren's recommendation for an upgrade to the sink waste trap and immediate drainage from the kitchen sink, so for a very reasonable price we now have a nice simple layout making any future issues much easier to deal with. A few days ago we noticed a slow leak from a toilet but were unable to find its origin. We have recently moved to this locality and didn’t know of a reliable plumber. We had found plumbers problematic where we lived before as most were not interested in small maintenance jobs. We found Darren”s firm on the “Which list”, rang and left a message. He rang back almost immediately and arranged to call that afternoon to diagnose and quote. He found that the washer between the cistern and toilet was failing and said that he could do the job the next afternoon. He arrived, did the job and left the bathroom clean and tidy. He is a pleasant comfortable person to have in the house.

Excellent, fast and professional work carried out to repair my leaking sink. Darren was quick to respond and has done an excellent job in repairing my leak. After explaining I have no water in the house due to the size of the leak Darren was quick to arrange his diary so he could come quickly to me. Clean and tidy work, I would 100% recommend, also for future jobs more than happy to have him completing future fixes or home improvements.

Darren had done an out of hours visit (without charging extra) to identify the source of a leak from the bathroom. A return visit to repair the damaged tiling and surfaces, and replace the bathtap, was organised promptly. The work was carried out with great care and a full explanation of everything done was provided. Darren is fastidious about his work and we couldn't fault any aspect of the job. I haven't found a plumber this good to date and we wouldn't consider using anyone else in the future. Darren is also a personable intelligent guy running a good business and he is clearly going to do very well with it!

Darren had gutted and replaced our main bathroom last year. We were very happy with the result and asked him to refit our separate shower room. This developed into a major undertaking involving replacing structural joists, levelling the floor, re-plastering the walls and ceiling as well as removing tiles and fitting the furniture. We have had many builders and plumbers in our property over the years. Darren is simply the very best. He has high standards and the experience and skills to tackle an enormous range of building works. These include plumbing, carpentry, bricklaying and decorating. He is very bright and an excellent problem solver. He is able to manage a project effectively and is an excellent administrator and communicator. The quality of his work is such that potential customers sometimes need to book him well in advance. But if you want a job doing properly then it is more that worth the wait.

We'd been experiencing worsening drainage of our kitchen sink and were unable to resolve this so turned to DPF Property Services who responded quickly and completely resolved our problem. Darren was able to establish the cause of the blockage through thorough investigation and keep us fully informed as this progressed. It required the sink trap to be taken apart and washed through followed by rodding to remove the blockage.
