Had an awful odour coming through our sink and shower drain in one of our bathrooms. Alex attended promptly as arranged, did a diagnostic and gave his honest feedback. Suggested options and I felt fully informed. There was no undue pressure at any stage. After Alex attended on another day, jet-washed our drains and the odour has vanished! Very thankful to Alex; we’ve probably saved a small fortune trying to find the odour source from inside the bathroom. Highly recommend Drain Flow Services!

Due to some unpleasant smells I contacted Alex and arranged a date for a drain survey. This was carried out when Alex was keen to show me what the camera was highlighting so I could see the problem for myself. Having finished the survey, they then flushed the drain to remove debris. Alex explained what repair work was required for which he provided a quote. This then carried out a couple of weeks later for the agreed price.

I would highly recommend this company. They turned up prepared and carried the work out to a high standard. Every action they took was explained thoroughly in laymen’s terms and the reason for it. Also, they were polite and friendly. After finishing they left the area tidy. Job well done.

Alex was an absolute dream! Having called at 6pm on Wednesday about getting a drain survey for a property we're looking to purchase - he was able to move some things around and fit us in by 9.30am the following morning to ensure we kept our journey to exchange on track. I phoned 1st thing this morning and got a call back very soon after. He arranged to visit between 2/3pm today and quoted a price. He arrived as planned. We had a blocked drain which he efficiently dealt with and was very helpful. He even checked with a neighbour to make sure her toilet/taps were working ok before he left. Alex was the third person I had to call out for drainage problems and bad smells. He carried out camera work and jetting . This is the second time I've used Alex in four years to clear a blocked drain and the first thing to say is that he's a really nice, friendly guy. He knows what he's doing, does it with a smile on his face and is thoroughly professional. Today, he took one look and despite the drain being more severely backed up than we suspected, he just got on with it and stuck to the pre-agreed, very reasonable price. And he didn't just do the bare minimum, he went out of his way to trim some roots that were contributing to the blockage, without any fuss or talk of paying him extra. Other traders might have left those so they could get more work in the near future. He says he's been clearing drains for 20 years and I think that shows.

Alex was recommended to me because of a pest issue and a broken foul drain. He was so helpful and reassuring and came out quickly to do a CCTV drain survey for me, explaining in layman's terms what we were seeing on the screen, installed two steel rat flaps to the front and back of my property and also cleared out a rainwater drain to a soakaway that was blocked. I wanted to check my drains for any root incursion and also any further cracks - happily they were all intact! He came back a second time to replace my broken clay waste pipe with a plastic one which involved digging up my concrete path, and then re-concreting it afterwards, which he did extremely neatly. He took photos of his work underground as he went along so he could show me what he had done. It was such a relief to finally find a reliable, trustworthy, helpful and knowledgeable tradesman after previous disastrous encounters with a large plumbing company. Work was more involved than was first thought due to very shoddy previous drive company. All work explained and carried out to an exemplary standard.

I called Alex on the 23rd September 2020 to arrange an appointment to clear the blocked sewer at the front of my house. Alex and his team were prompt in arriving at the appointed time on Thursday 24th September, and not only checked all of the manholes (5) but promptly cleared the the blocked sewer. The cause of blockage was from some cement that had fallen into the sewer from when I had a new driveway installed last year. The charge for this work was very reasonable. I can thoroughly recommend Drain Flow Services.

Called Alex because our kitchen drain had blocked up, causing the drain to spill out over our front garden. He was very courteous and arrived at the time arranged. He was friendly, very efficient and explained fully the works that was required and the cost. He carried out the work efficiently, safely and removed all debris, leaving the area clean. We called Alex as we were experiencing problems with the water levels in our toilets after they were flushed. Alex was easily contactable and arrived quickly within a couple of hours of us phoning. He was extremely polite and considerate. Having inspected our drains and finding that there was a problem at the boundary of our private and shared drains, he suggested we contact Thames Water. Alex wanted to ensure that we could have our problem fixed free of charge by our water supplier if possible and did not suggest carrying out work himself which may not have solved the problem and which we would have had to pay for. Alex was correct with his advice as Thames Water found a blockage in the main drain which they removed free of charge. I always try my best to use Which Trusted Trader to recommend an honest and trustworthy trader. As all the ones I have used so far I woukld recommend. I had severe blocked drains, bathrooms, appliances, kitchen sinks, showers etc. I chose Drain Flow service because of the good reviews and business was in same area as where we lived. Alex corresponded efficiently at all times and arrived on scheduled date and assessed the situation. I must say he was very professional and honest in his services and recommended the best options without having to do a full CCTV survey. He carried out the job, cleared the block drainage with water jet blaster and other plumbing tools. He also cleared three of the showers and bathrooms, which had poor draining over the last few months. Now we can have longer showers without worrying water overflowing from the shower tray. Alex was always friendly, helpful and polite and always recommended best approach in maintaining his job. The service charges were very good for the amount of work Alex carried out. He also maintained social distance at all times due to Covid-19. Thank you Alex.

I contacted Drain Flow Services as it was recommended on this site because I thought I had a collapsed drain. Alex responded quickly, quoted the price of a CCTV survey and arrived on time. He examined the piece of material which looked like a black broken pipe which had blocked the drain and said it was calcified scale. He then carried out a full CCTV survey of the house drainage and the drain down to the road. He showed me the screen (being careful to observe social distancing) to show that it was clear and that there were no other potential scale blockages. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional service.
