Came to clear blocked gulley in patio. Alex arrived at the agreed time. Did the job swiftly and was careful not to track mud into the flat. Gave me good advice about getting other tenants to contribute to the bill. Invoice was exactly as quoted. Would definitely use again.

Alex and John came round the day after I contacted them to sort out a blocked drain. They did an excellent job. My drains are over 100 years old and haven't been flushed since I moved here over 30 years ago. The drainpipe coming down from the roof was solid and I was concerned that I would need new pipework, but fortunately Alex and John used jets to free the drain pipe and the drains. They were friendly, honest and did a thorough job in less than an hour - I couldn't recommend them more highly.

The external drain collecting the outflow from my kitchen and that of a neighbour was overflowing. I called Drain Flow Services as we previously had tree roots breaking into the drains and obstructing them. Alex visited the next day and cleared the blockage. A CCTV inspection of the pipes confirmed that they were intact and unaffected by roots. The team were efficient and friendly. The work was explained and the video of the pipes was played back to me. The price was clearly explained as was the cost of the CCTV inspection, which was done at my request. I had a problem with rattling pipes in my bathroom, which Alex looked at free of charge and identified as being due to a u-bend drying out.

I would 100% recommend Alex at Drainflow Services. Yesterday he changed a soakaway from draining into my garden to drain into the main sewer. This is not the first time Alex has put in new sewer pipes and drains for me, he also did sewer works for two new toilets earlier this year. On both occasions I was really pleased with how neat and tidy the jobs were done. He was really precise cutting through the existing concrete, only channelling out the absolute necessary space for the work to be done. The concrete that was laid afterwards when the new pipes were in had been done perfectly. I didn't have to wait long for either the quote or the work to be done. The quote was better than expected on both occasions. The clearing up after the work was excellent. Everything was left neat and tidy, the left over rubble was bagged and stacked aside safely and collected this morning. There was no extra clearing or cleaning for me to do. Alex is a very pleasant cheerful man and just gets on with the job in hand. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone in the future.

Having left a message late in the evening, Alex returned my call and was at the property the following day and successfully cleared the blocked drain. He was very polite, helpful and kindly updated me once he had completed the work. Alex and his colleague were excellent, they turned up as expected to camera my drains and were thorough in their work with a genuine desire to resolve the issue for me. Alex came to look at my blocked gully which I thought needed repair. He cleaned it, then put a camera down and showed me that there was cement at the bottom of the gully, and leaking joints, as well as the broken drain that I could see. He quoted me a price, and did the job over two days, well within the time he said it would take. Everything was finished to a high standard and there was no mess, although he had to dig a trench. Rubble was taken away and I now have peace of mind. Alex is efficient and courteous, helpful without being pushy, and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Had an awful odour coming through our sink and shower drain in one of our bathrooms. Alex attended promptly as arranged, did a diagnostic and gave his honest feedback. Due to some unpleasant smells I contacted Alex and arranged a date for a drain survey. This was carried out when Alex was keen to show me what the camera was highlighting so I could see the problem for myself. Having finished the survey, they then flushed the drain to remove debris. Alex explained what repair work was required for which he provided a quote. This then carried out a couple of weeks later for the agreed price.

I would highly recommend this company. They turned up prepared and carried the work out to a high standard. Every action they took was explained thoroughly in laymen’s terms and the reason for it. Also, they were polite and friendly. After finishing they left the area tidy. Job well done.

Having called at 6pm on Wednesday about getting a drain survey for a property we're looking to purchase - he was able to move some things around and fit us in by 9.30am the following morning to ensure we kept our journey to exchange on track. This is the second time I've used Alex in four years to clear a blocked drain and the first thing to say is that he's a really nice, friendly guy. He knows what he's doing, does it with a smile on his face and is thoroughly professional. Today, he took one look and despite the drain being more severely backed up than we suspected, he just got on with it and stuck to the pre-agreed, very reasonable price. And he didn't just do the bare minimum, he went out of his way to trim some roots that were contributing to the blockage, without any fuss or talk of paying him extra. Other traders might have left those so they could get more work in the near future. He says he's been clearing drains for 20 years and I think that shows.

Alex was recommended to me because of a pest issue and a broken foul drain. He was so helpful and reassuring and came out quickly to do a CCTV drain survey for me, explaining in layman's terms what we were seeing on the screen, installed two steel rat flaps to the front and back of my property and also cleared out a rainwater drain to a soakaway that was blocked. I wanted to check my drains for any root incursion and also any further cracks - happily they were all intact! He came back a second time to replace my broken clay waste pipe with a plastic one which involved digging up my concrete path, and then re-concreting it afterwards, which he did extremely neatly. Work was more involved than was first thought due to very shoddy previous drive company. All work explained and carried out to an exemplary standard.

I called Alex on the 23rd September 2020 to arrange an appointment to clear the blocked sewer at the front of my house. Alex and his team were prompt in arriving at the appointed time on Thursday 24th September, and not only checked all of the manholes (5) but promptly cleared the the blocked sewer. The cause of blockage was from some cement that had fallen into the sewer from when I had a new driveway installed last year. The charge for this work was very reasonable. I always try my best to use Which Trusted Trader to recommend an honest and trustworthy trader. As all the ones I have used so far I woukld recommend. I had severe blocked drains, bathrooms, appliances, kitchen sinks, showers etc. I chose Drain Flow service because of the good reviews and business was in same area as where we lived. Alex corresponded efficiently at all times and arrived on scheduled date and assessed the situation. I must say he was very professional and honest in his services and recommended the best options without having to do a full CCTV survey. He carried out the job, cleared the block drainage with water jet blaster and other plumbing tools. He also cleared three of the showers and bathrooms, which had poor draining over the last few months. Now we can have longer showers without worrying water overflowing from the shower tray. Alex was always friendly, helpful and polite and always recommended best approach in maintaining his job. The service charges were very good for the amount of work Alex carried out. I contacted Drain Flow Services as it was recommended on this site because I thought I had a collapsed drain. Alex responded quickly, quoted the price of a CCTV survey and arrived on time. He examined the piece of material which looked like a black broken pipe which had blocked the drain and said it was calcified scale. He then carried out a full CCTV survey of the house drainage and the drain down to the road. He showed me the screen (being careful to observe social distancing) to show that it was clear and that there were no other potential scale blockages. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional service.

We had a problem with the office drainage system involving a build up over years of waste in the various drains on the premises with the added difficulty of vermin accessing the drains. From the get go Alex was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional, knowledgeable in his field, kept me up to speed at each stage of the process and carried out each element of the work as planned, on time and on budget. He provided CCTV of the extent of the problem before the flushing and then CCTV images of the final result. Everything went according to plan and we've been trouble free since his work was completed. I have no hesitation at all in using him again at any of our other premises nor recommending him to anyone else either for commercial or domestic use.

I called Alex for a blockage under a rainwater down pipe. He carefully looked into it and while we were ready for it to be an extensive job, he established that it was debris that he could clear with a jet of water. The problem was solved quickly, the bill was very reasonable and Alex and his mate left everything very tidy. Recommended

After having on going issues with blockages at my property I decided to contact a different company for a second opinion, Alex from drain flow services arrived at my property within 24hrs of me phoning and found the issue straight away, he said the old chamber was damaged and did not have the right fall to allow the drainage to run away, he replaced the foul chamber the next Day and replaced my block paving on my driveway perfectly. I had previously used another well known company who was clearly just happy with me calling them up to clear the blockage 3 times a year. I don’t leave reviews often but in this case I thought I would because they know what they are doing and they do it well.

Trusted Traders and having read previous reviews, plus seeing the nearby Council endorsement, I made contact, arranged the appointment and Alex was on time as planned. HE completed his work, explained the issues and the resolutions for my blocked gullies and took away all of the debris he'd removed. This took about and hour or so and he stuck to the price he had quoted and it was good value. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Alex came to pressure flush all the drains and gulleys in the block of flats. Furthermore a CCTV survey was carried out to inspect a collapsed drain. Alex turned up at the arranged time and proceeded immediately with the work in a professional and friendly manner.
