We suspected that our drains were not flowing as freely as they should and my husband called Draincall at 10.50 a.m. and they arrived in less than half an hour! We were very impressed as this was not an emergency. They checked the drains with a camera, established that there was a blockage, which they removed, checked the system and flushed it through to ensure all was in order, which it was. We were very impressed with the helpful, knowledgeable service received and would not hesitate to recommend them. We felt the charge was money well spent.

Draincall’s first job was to clear out our complete drainage system caused by a backed-up septic tank following the winter flood. This was done very thoroughly and required their flexibility so I could coordinate with septic tank emptiers. We also got Draincall to pressure clean our patio because we were pleased with their drain work. This took 2-3 hours instead of the many days it takes us, with a better result. All our work was done by Dean who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic within his work. All three of our visits were arranged to our convenience and attended on time. I didn’t price test the work but thought the price was reasonable and I was most interested in getting the job done well and promptly rather than cheaply. We will use them next time.

I was experiencing issues when flushing a toilet in my house and a general bad smell when letting out baths and taking showers. I called Draincall and spoke to David on Friday evening about 17:00 and he came to my property at 09:00 on Saturday morning. Within 2 minutes of arriving and lifting the main man hole cover at the end of my driveway David said we had a blockage and he would be able to get this sorted for me. Less than 5 minutes later after jetting the drain the blockage was cleared and David then spent time to clean the main drainage pipe leading back to my house properly for about another 20 minutes. Once the cleaning was done David wanted me to be 100% happy that all blockages in my whole system had been cleared so he waited while I ran every tap and bath individually in the house so I could see a clear flow of water from the house through the main drain and out into the main sewer in the street. The service provided was spot on, David also took the time to explain the flow of my drainage system to me and genuinely cared that I was comfortable the issue had been fully resolved before he left my property. David is definitely not the sort of person who turns up and wants to get away as quickly as possible, it is clear that a customer having peace of mind and understanding is important to him which is a nice trait to see. Thank you David, I highly recommend you. The service you provide is definitely good value for money.

I have a drainpipe that does (or did not) not cope with heavy rain. Draincall came promptly, gave a quote for making an attempt to clear the blockage without having cut into the drainpipe or to dig up the gulley, and made clear that the attempt might or might not make much difference. I accepted the quote and Draincall did the work straight away. The work took about an hour and Draincall acknowledged that they had been able to make only a partial improvement. They offered two solutions on re-arranging the drainage if the drainpipe did not work properly in heavy rain. They set out the work done and the further options clearly on their invoice. I will only know when we have some really heavy rain whether the work had made much difference, but I am pleased with the attempt that Draincall have done, their honesty on its effectiveness. Before Draincall came, I had been in touch with two other firms. One said that they would need to cut the drainpipe near the ground and were very expensive. The other said that they would need to dig up the gully. This firm offered to send a quote, but kept losing my details and have not sent their quote.

Draincall came to clear a blocked drain they responded quickly and cleared the drain in no time. I would have no hesitation in reusing them again. Good customer service approach too. Thank you.

Dean arrived within 30 minutes of my call, completed the work quickly and very efficiently. Site was very messy due to overflowing fat from kitchen, he left it spotless. I felt the cost was very reasonable as was the quote to carry out a full repair post covid.

I had a problem with a gutter down-pipe that was not draining. Danny arrived within half an hour of my initial phone call and suggested a fix that might or might not work. Explained the costs involved in all options and allowed me to make an informed decision. I made my choice and the gutter is fixed. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend.

Within an hour of calling the company Dean arrived at our home to inspect and advise on our blocked surface water soak-away. He gave us his honest, professional opinion and explained our options. He was able to solve the immediate problem of standing water on the garage roof while we consider a permanent solution and also advised us regarding a problem with an overflowing gutter. We were really impressed with the company and would definitely use them again.

Called Saturday evening with a blocked kitchen drain, phone answered straight away. Came round first thing Sunday morning. Took the time to understand this long running problem that had only partially been solved by larger national drain companies. Unblocked the drain properly for the first time in many years. I had a surface water drainage blockage which during heavy rainfall was causing rain up the condensate pipe to my boiler. Initial visit made by Dean to assess the blockage problem within one hour of me contacting Draincall. He was thorough, very knowledgeable and able to explain the issues and options in detail. I was more than happy to accept his advice about how to resolve the problem. He returned a few days later with CCTV and was able to show me the considerable amount of debris in the pipework which a previous engineer had not even found beneath my lawn. Dean explained the high pressure water jetting operation and was happy for me to witness all of his work. I was able to witness on CCTV water flowing freely in the pipe afterwards. He was careful to clean up afterwards. The cost was very reasonable bearing in mind the time taken and the use of the specialist equipment. I was very impressed with the service provided and will not hesitate to use Draincall again or to recommend them to others.

The moment Dan and Dean arrived we knew we had the right people, extremely knowledgeable and we had complete confidence in them which proved to be correct. They did their own survey despite us having already had one, and found the root cause of the problems we've been having with the blocked sewer pipe. Not just cracks, which the original survey showed, but over 20M of building deposits, probably plaster that filled between 1/3 and 1/4 of the pipe over the 20M length. They removed all of this despite not quoting for it and then performed the highly skilled job of lining the pipe where it had cracked. They were skilled, courteous and left the place exactly as they found it. We can't recommend Dan and Dean or indeed Draincall highly enough.

I have been having drain problems for a while, knew I had to do something but was deterred by the reputation and call out charge of the companies. I found draincall, who were very helpful over the phone. Dean went out of his way to call around the next day. It was a complex problem that he advised I needed to do some structural work first, but Dean was very thorough and clear, stayed at least half an hour - and didn’t charge, even though his advice was clearly valuable and I would have happily paid. As I say, restored my faith!

I called Draincall out yesterday to clear a blocked drain in my garden which has been blocking on & off since we moved in 6 years ago. The lady who answered the phone was really friendly & helpful. Within a couple of hours an engineer was out sorting the problem for me, he cleaned up all the mess where it had overflowed & then popped a camera down to see what had been causing the problem before giving me some options to sort it out long term. I didn't know that they also do driveway cleaning so i have now booked in for them to come back next week to do this. A great local company.

Noticed my outside drain was blocked so couldn't use the kitchen without flooding the garden. Found Draincall on the internet, gave them a call and they arrived within 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Very friendly and professional chap turned up and sorted out the problem for me and left the place clean and tidy. No problems about the service and quality received. But I thought the price quoted was a bit steep (£264) for what was less than 45 minutes work but it included jetting to clear the blockage. I decided to go ahead anyway as they were ready to fix it there and then and a working drain was my priority!
