Been a customer of DHS for over 30 years and currently relying on them to service my boiler (supplied by them 15 years ago) and the boiler of a rental property we own, and to provide the safety certificates. They have been utterly reliable, quick to deal with the occasional urgent problem, always able to get the system in order in quick time. Over recent years they always send out the same engineer Ian who is cheerful, gets on with the job and leaves everything tidy and in good order, and obviously knows the system. Thoroughly recommend DHS for installation and service - and prices are good.

This involved the installation of three new radiators, one of which was somewhat tricky - not necessarily possible as it was into a formerly lean-to worshop now a utility room off the kitchen. The job was quickly booked, the men carried out the work in the time allotted, they made very little mess - consequently the cleaning up afterwards was a doddle! The price was reasonable. I have also used this company for some years for boiler services. Full marks.

On Boxing Day 2024, my mum's heating system failed. She is under warranty with Vaillant and was trying to contact them but instead initially mistakenly called a number she had saved on her phone for DHS as they do her annual service. Realising her mistake she hung up before it was answered and then called Vaillant who arranged a next-day visit. However, after she had finished her call with Vaillant she received a call back from a DHS engineer called Darren. As she is poor of hearing I spoke to him and despite it being Boxing Day and him clearly being unwell with a heavy cold he talked me through a process for resetting the water pressure which meant that my 74 year old mum had running hot water again. Absolutely fantastic service from Darren and shows what a great ethos this company has when it comes to customer service, top marks and I hope Darren is feeling better now!

I e-mailed DHS yesterday evening when our central heating stopped working. Darren left a message to help out early morning next day. Advised how to fix the problem without a call out being necessary due to knowledgeable diagnosis and clear instructions for resolution. I've been a DHS customer for many years and their service and aftercare has always been excellent.

Gas check Hi, I found Josh to be personable and on time. It was his last service of the day and he finished by 4pm. He forgot to check that the gas was turned back on in the metre box. I did not want to tamper with and was not 100% sure of the reason that I could get no heating including hot water obviously. Good that Darren? phoned back Saturday morning when I discovered issues and arranged for Matt to come out the same day to rectify, which he did. I will use again as have before without problem. I will also check that I can get heating before the engineer goes! My trust has gone.

We chose DHS to install our gas boiler system some 14 years ago and have used the same company to provide an annual service. Why? Because it is always straightforward in making an appointment, the technician arrives at the appointed time and he always does a thorough job. In addition, we always have a cordial greeting, he goes about his work in an unobtrusive manner, is very clean and explains all he has done. As an added extra, he is jovial and respectful. Very often we are able to have the same person call. Well done DHS

We had our central heating fitted by DHS 30 years ago and used them for various other jobs over the years. We have had out annual boiler service done by then most years and I have just looked back at some of the previous bills and the price is still very reasonable. The engineer always explains what they have done and they provide a written report which reassures me our heating system is working as it should.

Punctual, pleasant and knowledgeable! Had problems with underfloor heating and leaking toilet. All sorted and the toilet was a real pain to repair! Would deffo recommend, shame I never got the guys name as he was spot on... Also price was more than reasonable, I've spent nearly as much before on a call out charge!!!!

I have used this company on several occasions and have found their work to be excellent and very cost effective, the employees are always well presented and friendly, you also don’t have to wait ages for an appointment, I can also say that they are dementia friendly as I have used them for work on my mothers house and left them with her and they have been exemplary. Good plumbers are hard to find and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Once again, I have received 'over and above' service from Darren and the DHS team. I am a returning and fairly regular customer of DHS. Who have installed a new boiler, and completed a new shower refurb. Plus undertaken multiple smaller plumbing projects. Darren always works with me on each project. Providing expert advice, guidance and recommendations and different quote options. Nothing is too much trouble and the work is completed to an excellent standard. Recently, DHS went the extra mile and sorted out a loo seat replacement as a favour. Altogether, professional, friendly and caring service. I cannot recommend DHS highly enough.

I can recommend DHS for gas boiler and fire servicing. DHS installed my boiler and fire over 10years ago and they have carried out a service every year sice then. The engineer who came was friendly and explained what he was doing. I was especially pleased with the safety checks on the boiler and fire. I am pleased to recommend DHS.
