I have know and used the services of this company for around fourteen years, I have a rental property in Didcot and each year they carry out the boiler service and landlords certificate. On the rare occasion I have an issue at the property I know I can pick up the phone and speak with Richard direct to either sort the problem or provide invaluable advice and contacts. Over the first May Bank Holiday my tenant reported water dripping into the hall from the bathroom above, one quick call to Richard and the matter was dealt with. However, to eradicate the issue of leaking pipes, the hall ceiling had to come down so access could be gained to the bathroom pipes. A return visit was a greed with my tenant and the work carried out to her satisfaction plus the recommendation of a plasterer to carry out the remedial work. I now live in Cornwall so have to rely on traders I can trust and can contact in an emergency, this is never in doubt with E & W Plumbing. We are all going through challenging times financially, but E & W's prices are fair and competitive and I'm pleased to say Richard adopts a common sense approach to call-out charges over a Bank Holiday, for which, I am very grateful

A heating engineer who professed to be unfamiliar with our type of underfloor heating fitted the wrong part as the system was not heating to required temperature. It seems that this was a basic error. It was not possible to realise that something was amiss until now, with warmer weather upon us. It is possible that this has cost us more in gas supply than should have been the case and possibly long term damage to the system. The issue has been resolved (I hope) but we have not received a formal apology.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and we are very sorry to hear you have not had been happy with the service provided to you. We take customer service very seriously and it is extremely rare that we find any of our clients are not fully satisfied with the service we provide. We are aware of the issue you experienced and I understand the issue was rectified free of charge very soon after it was raised with our office. We have discussed the problem with the engineer who visited you and it is our understanding that the engineer correctly diagnosed the fault with your system but unfortunately fitted the wrong type of component as he picked up the wrong (but very similar) part from his van. It is a shame that human error has come into play but it is just that & we are glad that the issue has now been resolved. We have done everything we can to rectify the issue for you as quickly and professionally as possible and trust everything is working as it should be. Rest assured there will be no damage to your under floor heating system as the temperature is controlled by a blending valve on the manifold itself which is completely separate to the part that was replaced. Once again please accept my apologies for the unfortunate turn of events and be assured that we have taken action to avoid this type of situation occurring again in future.

Very happy with work by Dan from E & W plumbing who came to fix a leaking overflow pipe in the loft and replace a broken shower hose. He also freed up the mains stopcock for us. He was very amiable and carried out the work efficiently.

Contacted this company about an annual gas boiler and fire service. Their response was both prompt and efficient with a quote for the work and date agreed. Their customer communications by phone and email, before and after the service, we're also very good. Bradley, the engineer who came to service our gas boiler and fire was very pleasant, courteous, professionally efficient and helpful. I'll certainly be using E&W Plumbing and Heating again and would definitely recommend them.

This was a complex job involving work on 6 roof level water tanks which provided water to 3 blocks of flats. A total of 40 flats were affected. The work involved draining each rooftank, installing new stoptaps then labelling each stoptap to show which flats it turned off. So access was needed into each of the 40 flats to identify which stoptap turned off water to which cluster of flats. I was on site through the 3 days when E and W completed the work. The work was completed in an efficient, systematic and rigorous manner. Communication with me was excellent. And all three E and E staff conducted themselves in a very professional manner with occupants of the flats. I would certainly firmly recommend E and W for any small or large piece of work.
