Been looking at installing solar and battery at our bungalow on the east coast for 2 years. Joined many Facebook groups dealing with the subject and came across Eco cute in alot of discussions and all were very positive. Looked at you tube videos and read reviews online, studied pricing and equipment offered etc. Now there might be cheaper and there are definitely more expensive company's but Eco cutes reputation and quality of work swung it for us. From the start of order all was explained, was given an installation date and true to word they were here before 9am. They worked in very poor weather to complete the first part of the instal, returned the next day and completed and commissioned the system. I had actually recommended a neighbour to Eco cute who had a solar instal the same day. The only negative was they did not eat enough of our surplus Xmas biscuits to save our waistline. I would 100% Recommend this company on our experience.

Amazing from start to finish! We have wanted solar panels installing for quite some time but never took the final leap into getting them fitted. Once we had decided to do it we approached a few companies including big national installers and local providers who came back with a variety of prices and packages. Connor at Ecocute was great, he spent a long time on the phone talking me through the different options and how it all works, he then went and built up a few different packages to work from at different price points to maximise my budget. There was no hard or pushy selling, just good old-fashioned honesty and support. We settled on a 20 panel system with a battery and zappi charger as this gave the best overall return as well as would make the most use of the roof space available. The job was planned for the first day back following the Christmas break and the weather was very cold and icy, but that didn't put off the team, they turned up and cracked on with the work, keeping me informed and double checking everything throughout the two days they were here installing it. The process was so smooth and the workmanship is excellent. The wiring is extremely tidy and large parts of it have been hidden either in the cavity or behind other things which means that it is very unobtrusive. Following the installation the team took their time to talk me through the different apps and how they work, and then the office staff gave further backup and support to make sure that it

Back in August 2025, I sought quotes for a 12 panel solar and battery system. I was aware - as an area I knew little about at the time - this was something of a minefield, and once you make an enquiry with many installers, you'll be pestered to death by them until you sign up. Not so with Ecocute. One of 14 quotes I received from 10 different firms. Connor, their guy in the office, dealt with my initial enquiry and subsequent - and sometimes relentless - barrage of questions, concerns and posers after I received their quote with enthusiasm, patience, and concise and clear technical explanations where necessary - and zero pressure! Ecocute quoted me £7890 at that time for a 12-bifacial panel system with an 8kWh AlphaESS battery/hybrid inverter. While they were not aiming to be the cheapest supplier, they nonetheless were, and in some cases by more than £2000 (when compared to a similar system from Octopus, for example). The AlphaESS brand was not one that I had heard of before, but Connor provided me with information about the product/brand and showed photos of recent installs and comparisons with rival kit. It was clear that this was a quality, highly integrated, neat system. The system was installed on the 21st November. I can't fault the installation or system at all, and their fitters (Corey, Scott and Reece) did the work in one day, and were friendly and explained everything well. Excellent prices. Having done quite a bit of research and getting a few quotes I decided on Ecocute, they weren’t the cheapest but had good reviews and were local and are Tesla approved. Connor was great, he answered all my questions and when the G99 approval was slow in coming through he willingly postponed the install till everything was sorted. Robyn kept in contact by email even forwarding her emails she had sent to the DNO so I knew they were chasing. DNO approval came through for the full export and Ecocute scheduled my install promptly. On the day they arrived on time and after confirming specific locations for the Powerwall 3 and Gateway, Corey & Reece quickly got on with the install. Scott started on the roof and as the panels went up it became clear there was room for an extra panel, a quick phone call to Connor and that was sorted. Overall I am very happy with Ecocute, the installation is neat and tidy and the system was explained to me along with setting me up on the Tesla app and an explanation of how to use it. It was a first class job from start to finish and I would happily recommend them to anyone for their solar and battery install.

The lads turned up on time, started work immediately and completed the battery installation in just over 2 hours. The system was explained any questions answered and working area cleaned and tidied. Contact with the office is always a pleasure. Conor and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and polite. Having now used them on 2 separate occasions would give the company the highest recommendation.

I already have solar and have been contemplating a battery install for some time for excess solar and also use of off peak tariffs. I contacted many potential installers many with the hard see. Connor was very knowledgeable no hard sell. The prices was competitive and available on eco cute website. The install very quick 2 hrs worked first time early days but all good at the moment

I recently had solar panels installed from Ecocute and couldn’t be happier with the service. From start to finish; the electricians Jack, Billy and the panel installer – Scott were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They explained the whole process clearly, kept me updated at every stage, and completed the installation on time with great attention to detail. The installers were polite, tidy, and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. They also took the time to answer all my questions about how to get the best from the system. Since having the panels fitted, I have already noticed the difference in energy use and I am looking forward to the long-term savings. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering solar panels, outstanding service and a great investment!

I was unsure of the solution I needed when I first enquired about having an inverter and battery storage installed but Connor and Robyn talked me through the best steps to take with my available budget. We opted for the 5kw Alpha inverter with 2x 4.8kw batteries so we can make use of the energy from overnight tariffs during the daytime ,we have the intention of adding solar panels at a later date once we have saved up a little more. The installers arrived on time, were friendly and worked to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend this company and the Alpha Ess products they supplied.

Connor at Ecocute was an incredible support helping me understand the world of solar batteries and was always willing to answer my myriad of questions. Having decided on the battery and inverter that would suite our current and future needs the Ecocute team helped bring it to a reality at the agreed date and on budget. Incredible! ... these guys are so polite and efficient its hard to believe in todays society I've found a company that I would have no hesitation to HIGHLY recommend. Right from the initial contact nothing was too much trouble for them. I knew very little about solar but Connor in the office guided me through each stage of how it works and what was involved in the installation. Even after paying the money he cant stop offering advice :-) The installers were so quick and efficient as well as tidying up after themselves. All in all a fantastic job from start to finish. During our investigations we looked at numerous suppliers. Whilst price was a main consideration, more than anything we did not want to be constantly harassed with pressure selling techniques. Whilst a large amount of the information in some quotes was simply ‘filling’ and lacking in detail we found the quote from ‘Ecocute’ very comprehensive and well balanced, their projected figures appeared logical and believable. Whilst not the cheapest quote their price was very comparative. What I really appreciated was that the numerous questions I had regarding the quote and subsequent installation were addressed quickly and efficiently with explanations given in easy-to-understand language. The installation and commissioning of the solar panels went brilliantly. The engineers described exactly what they needed to do to, why they needed to do it and how long it would take. Well within the time slot they had given the installation and commissioning was completed with all packaging, offcuts of wire etc cleared and the area left spotlessly clean. I would have no hesitancy in recommending ‘Ecocute’ who provided a first-class customer orientated service from the initial contact all the way through to completion. They were prepared to answer all questions and give full explanations to clarify the numerous points and queries that we had. There was no pressure selling techniques, they give a competitive price from the start and acted totally professionally throughout.

Excellent service from Ecocute. From the initial quotation to the installation day, everything was handled exceptionally well. Connor kept us well informed at all times, emails were replied to quickly, and all our questions were answered. The installation team was hardworking, clean, and tidy workers who explained everything well. Within 24 hours, we were running on solar power; 10 days later, we've not imported any electricity from the grid.

Overall, absolutely thrilled with the install and have recommended to my friends and neighbours. Having quoted for 15 panels and 8kw battery storage from multiple companies, Ecocute were ahead on price, ahead on service, local to the area and well reviewed, so I selected them. Best decision I ever made! The installation was done within a day, assisted by the roofer fitting the clips on the roof for the panels the night before...benefits of using a local company. The three lads who came out on the day were superb and clearly had aesthetics in mind taking time to ensure cable runs and installation were tidy and inoffensive, they did a brilliant job. My electric bills have been non-existent since and I'm looking forward to getting money back for the feed in which has taken a little longer than planned though this is no fault of ecocute who have done their best to speed this through. A couple of minor issues through the install, the scaffolders broke some tiles, however these were swiftly replaced with brand new ones of the same design by the roofer and the pigeon proofing had been missed off the order. This was swiftly resolved the following day. Massive thanks to Ecocute, Conor for the support before the install, Cory, Scott and Rees on the day for a job well done and finally to Robyn for chasing through the red tape of DNOs. It looks and works great and I know I can depend on you should any future issues arise.

Ecocute fitted my solar panels in 2022, and when I wanted to add a battery, I had no hesitation in contacting them again and getting them to fit it. I was shopping around to get a quote for battery storage and possibly solar. After a good discussion with Ecocute, I decided to go for just battery storage. I was sent a few options to think about and called back in my own time to go ahead with the installation. Fast forward 2 months, and the installation was carried out quickly, safely, and I was updated with progress on a regular basis during the process. The work was carried out perfectly and both inside and outside were returned to being neat and tidy once the work was complete. I highly recommend, and will go back to them if I decide to go for a Solar installation.

Ecocute have installed for me 17 solar panels to go with my existing Powerwall 3 and have been patient and the service from the team was exemplary from start to finish. Special mention to Connor and Robyn for keeping me informed all through the process and on install day Corey and Reece for their great work electrically and Scott for installing the panels. All I can say was they were all dedicated to getting a good result and went above and beyond to help me! I have no hesitation in recommending Ecocute for any solar work, in fact they are now pricing to fit a Zappi for me as well.

We had Ecocute install our solar and battery system over 3 yrs ago, the workmanship, communication and service was superb. We were and still are delighted with our choice to use Ecocute. We had them back a while ago to provide and fit a very handy isolation switch, once again an excellent service. Today we had them back once again to upgrade our battery and storage system to the Tesla Powerwall 3. They arrived early and got straight down to work. We now have even greater independence from the grid for much of the time. Have seamless back up in case of power cuts and a great upgrade. We have no doubts about the service that Ecocute provides, so much so we might have extra panels fitted in future to maximise our energy use "in house". Having had Ecocute for all previous work, we simply could not recommend anyone else.

I'm not one for writing reviews, but on this occasion I found that it is right in doing so, for the service I've received. First I will start by saying that I found Ecocute whilst doing a search for solar panel installers. Upon finding Ecocute as well as many others, of which I've spoken to, something extra stood out about Conner. He didn't try to hard sell with a limited price phone call guaranteed price on the panels. At first I will be honest and I did think that it could be another Scam Company, but I was totally wrong. During my call with Conner he explained everything from the delivery of the panels to the full installation, with the remaining balance upon completion. The entire team have been nothing but kind and professional in their job, my wife is so happy ( Happy wife happy life )with the work undertaken. I've now passed on Ecocute's details to family and friends, as we are now planning on having our Battery and EV Charger from Ecocute, The workers where on time as stated, very professional and kept disruption down to a bare minimal, and unlike most contractors, they kept their work space clean and tidy, and even cleaned up after themselves. I was informed of every aspect of the work they where doing, and what was going to happen next throughout their work. 10/10 for Ecocute for everything you have done,

The whole experience of using Ecocute was easy from start to finish. They were always on hand to answer any questions when I was deciding which solar panels and battery to buy, whilst waiting for the installation, and after the installation was complete. The whole experience of getting the SEG information for Eon was not simple but Ecocute were there to tell me what to do. On the day of installation the installers were here promptly and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day. They finished earlier than I had expected them to as they clearly are experts in doing these installations and had done lots before. They left the house clean and tidy and the system up and running after explaining everything I needed to know. The men were polite and could answer any questions I had. We have now had the system for just over a month and the SEG payments from Eon are now being built up. This takes a while and is out of Ecocute's and Eon's control. The system is working far more efficiently than we anticipated and we are definitely benefitting from this glorious spring sunshine. I would highly recommend Ecocute as their product is great and their service excellent.
