I had a system comprising six solar panels and two batteries installed by Electech in September 2023. Following my first enquiry Tom sent a comprehensive report which was followed up with a site visit to answer all my questions. There was very little wait for the job to be done and the work only took a day to complete. Dominic and the team were great to work with- efficient , polite and left everywhere clean and tidy. Dominic was very helpful in downloading the App and explaining all its features. Subsequent paperwork was sent very quickly. I recently had an additional battery fitted to allow for more electricity storage and the team reconnected my App which had disconnected when my router was changed. I am very pleased with the whole system . I would definitely recommend this company for their excellent advice, work and customer care.

Following their initial solar installation in March 23, Electech were requested to add an additional battery. Once again the work was completed at the agreed time and price in an efficient and cheerful manner, all questions were answered and my property left in a tidy fashion. The system continues to work as intended and I am happy to thoroughly endorse Electech.

Had solar panels fitted in Aug 22 and then batteries added in March 25. Overall great service and prompt installation at competitive rates. Also used their telephone support to solve a wireless issue that stopped the app working and they were very helpful

My solar panels have been installed for over 10 years. At that time solar batteries were expensive and not very efficient. When I was researching adding batteries in 2023 Electech was one of the firms I approached for a quote. All questions I had were answered quickly and fully. It gave me confidence in their knowledge of solar so that was why I chose them. The initial three batteries were installed on time and have been working effectively ever since. During the summer months when the solar panels were active, there was enough electricity for my needs. During the winter months, I was not able to store enough electricity at a cheaper overnight rate to last me through the daytime. After consultation with Electech I decided to add two more batteries. Electech installed these batteries quickly and efficiently so now I only need to buy electricity at the cheapest overnight rate when the solar panels do not top-up the battery enough during the day.

I had batteries and EV charger installed to compliment my existing solar panels. All went well with the work completed efficiently and effectively. The team were even quick to help with reconnection with my wifi some months later when I had to change my router. I recommend them.

I had a system installed with Electech for 18 solar panels and batteries in 2023. I received several quotes for other firms but not one made me confident to proceed other than Electech. Starting with the person that came to measure and design the system (actually got up on the roof, rather than working off online photos.) Being so thorough meant they managed to design a system that would fit more panels as this was my priority. We had more roof space but they explained that due to the direction of this roof, this would not be beneficial for us. Tom was knowledgeable and explained what I could expect from the system and this meant we were able to make an informed decision. Dominic that fitted the system was brilliant. Polite, neat workers and sat down after to talk us through the app and how to make the most from the panels moving forward. The benefit and savings we have seen has lead me to recommend the company to several friends who have also had systems fitted and are happy too. Having experienced the benefits, in Feb 2025 we decided to add to the battery capacity and so have just had an extra battery installed from them. Once again we dealt with Tom and the process has been smooth. After care has been great as after fitting the new battery I had a few questions about the app and Tom took the time to talk through this and like the first time he was able to explain how best to use the system we have to maximum benefit. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I’ve just recently had more solar panels and extra battery installed, I’ve found the advice I received very helpful,since using this company there after sales advice and help very good, the lads putting up panels where all friendly, I cannot find fault with this company I would certainly recommend them, They couldn’t fit battery first time round but came back out asap to fit it due to some cables, but all up and running making energy as we speak, I’m very pleased with this company,

I had 16 solar panels, an inverter, a 6.5kw battery installed in May and added another 6.5kw battery at the start of the week. On both occasions Electech did a fantastic job, very professional, tidy, and always checked that I was happy with the work that they have done. I would recommend them to anyone

I first found Electech on Facebook where i was impressed with the 50+ Q&A responses regarding solar panel and battery installation from potential clients responding to their advert. I then subscribed to Which? online where Electech's name popped up as a trusted trader, so i was happy to ask for a quote alongside egg and heatable. Electech were the most competitive and we did the deal. The istallation of my 18 panels, Tesla Powerwall 3 and Zappi charger took just two days, which apparently was a tricky job due to the setup of my house (end of trerrace Victorian house in Southend). The onsite team were knowledgeable and courteous. Nice chaps! They help with the setup of the apps you'll get with the Powerwall and Zappi. I do recommend getting as many panels as possible, as i have now not just eliminated my electricity bill, but I've now started exporting my excess solar to the grid for profit! Why the Powerwall 3? Even on cloudy days I can download all the electricity I need on the cheep overnight tariff from Eon Next in about two hours and this will power my house all day with plenty to spare. I can even download electricity at 6.8p/Kwh between midnight and 7am, then sell it back to them at 17p/Kwh! The Powerwall handles all this so i can collect the money. Even in early March I'm making £3-4/day. Summer should be awesome. That should be a cheeky little cheque coming my way around Christmas time. Many thanks Electech!

Researched and had several quotes after attending exhibition at O2. Competitive quote accepted and an agreed start date agreed. Lee arrived on time for a survey and to answer my questions, that i had asked other company reps, he was able to put my mind at risk and was prepared to move all my equipment to another room once my extension and building work was completed. Installation of panels and batteries was completed and left tidy within the proposed time. Paperwork and advice on best energy supplier was given. I am very pleased with all the results. I have phoned a few times and the support from Tom has been excellent. I had an inspection from the NICEIC. He commented....... excellent work I would keep this electrician, don't lose him!!!! Thank you Jack, and your team. Finally, I have recommended Electech to my neighbors' and at least 2 have had work done by them.

Just to say to the team - Dom and the two lads thank you for their courtesy, politeness and care doing a good job which when the sun eventually deems to shine we can see the value and effectiveness of the system.

I selected Electech after receiving 4 quotes. They provided detailed responses and met my criteria for the combined Solar/Tesla Powerwall system. I received detailed answers to all my questions. Installation was very smooth, all the trades did a fantastic job, there was a tiny over-run of a day or two which was reasonable. I would suggest earmarking around 4 days from start to finish to a Solar/Battery system. All went well. I had a learning curve as the Tesla Powerwall is "intelligent" and it took me three days to work around its AI to ensure it worked as I wished. After support has been great, no issues encountered. I would recommend Electech to anyone.

After making the decision to install solar panels and a battery system for our bungalow with a south-facing slate roof, it seemed that every company with a social media presence was after our business. Electech stood out as they were reasonably priced and fairly local. A few days of research and promptly returned emails and calls and I asked them to quote. A couple of days later, Lee and Jack visited and asked what I wanted, advised me on the options and we agreed a plan. They follow up with a proposal and quote with a potential installation date under two weeks away which I accepted. I must say I was impressed with the progress, scaffolders turned up a day early but no problem. Two Roofers turned up and started the install in the morning, by lunchtime there were five of them up ensuring it was finished before the light went. Next day Jack and Mitch came and fitted the electrical items and I can’t fault their work. Neat and tidy even went round picking up the wild cable ties. Jack talked me through the Tesla App and showed me the different modes. Two days later, the G99 and MCS documents arrived which they had been sorting in parallel to the install. We were already with Octopus so just uploaded the documents and requested the tariff switch to Flux on Monday evening and by Tuesday afternoon, we were exporting from the battery to the grid. From start to finish I’ve been impressed with Electech, both for their efficiency and the attitude of the various trades we had on site.

We used Electech Installations to install a home solar panel system on a pitched and flat-roof above a dormer loft extension. They were great at answering all the questions I had in advance and when I was shortlisting suppliers, they were never pushy or chasing me for an answer. When we did decide to proceed, they were able to install the system within a few weeks. The work was carried out without any interruption to us, they cleared everything away and were great at showing us how to operate the app. I would definitely recommend their service.

I had the great pleasure of placing an order for the above system. The installation was quite complex as panels had to be split across three roofs and one roof is partially shaded. I asked a number of quite detailed questions which were answered in full. The installation went ahead exactly as planned and the work was done proficiently and to our complete satisfaction and all the men were very courteous throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Overall we are very satisfied and we would highly recommend the company. We are already saving about £180 per month and in the summer we expect savings to be at least £220pm and this includes running an electric car. Thanks, guys for a job well done.

From start to finish Electech's service was exemplary. After the initial enquiry we were not hassled by the sales team. Once we were given a full and detailed quote they stuck to agreed timescales to follow up with us. Dan was very helpful during this period answering our many queries. The installation team were prompt, professional and polite. They worked very hard and with good humour despite the fact it rained non stop all day. The costs were very reasonable and less than we thought they would be. Very impressed with aftercare too - as questions arose they were happy to answer them, no matter how daft we thought they were. Since installation our neighbour has also used Electech to instal solar panels.

After arranging a date for installation the workforce arrived on time and proceeded to carry out the necessary preparation work, they were very professional and knowledgeable about their trade. They finished on schedule and left my property clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend this company for value for money, their products, and forward thinking towards energy efficiency

I was fearful that the installation would leave a mess of wires in the house as I had also ordered an iboost with the solar panels. But the work was incredibly neat and took about five hours in all. There was just one niggle: I purchased pigeon protection on the day. It's wire reinforced plastic netting of very good quality. But at £300 extra, I thought that was a bit steep

From start to finish Electech's service was exemplary. The installation team were prompt, professional and polite. The support staff were great, especially Georgia who answered my innumerable questions promptly and with unfailing good humour. The costs were reasonable and my request for payment in instalments over 2 weeks was willingly accommodated. Very impressed.

I was very impressed with Electech right from the start. The initial meeting was very informative and no 'hard sell'. On the agreed day, scaffolding was erected, the next day the panels and equipment were installed and on the third day the scaffolding was taken down. Jack, from Electech, was very patient explaining the app to me and installing it on my phone. Everything was left very tidy and all the people were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

I can highly recommend Electech who installed the solar panel & battery storage system in a professional way from ordering through to installation. They were all friendly & polite. The system was installed within three weeks of ordering on time & as quoted. I cannot believe it only took half a day to install, I was expecting at least a whole day, everything went smoothly.

A really good company, fantastic knowledge of current market equipment and understand what works. Installation was very quick and professionally done, no mess during or after work, and a very polite team. During the whole process from design to certification you are kept up to date. We are more than happy with the system that has been fitted and would use this company without doubt for any of our renewable energy projects in the future.

After a recommendation from a self-confessed detail-obsessed customer of theirs', who was adamant that these were the people to use after they'd done extensive work on his property I got them over for a quote and then engaged them to do the work, which they completed in a day and within a couple of weeks from agreeing the contract. From start to finish they were utterly professional, polite, tidy, helpful and keen to answer all and any questions I had in full. With so many cowboy operations out there I am so pleased to have found a company who seem to be genuinely intent on providing a great end-to-end service and who will thrive off the word-of-mouth recommendations they will no-doubt be receiving.

Having shopped around with quite a few companies for solar panel before choosing Electech installations, I was surprised the difference in the service. From start to finish they were by far the most professional and we would not hesitate to recommend and are doing so to all our friends that are asking! No hard sell at all. Sent Lee round to check our roof before giving us a quote. Checked suitability of roof and took measurements. We wanted as many panels as could have in good position. Managed to get 18 where as all other companies quoted 12/13 (As none of them wanted to come and actually look) Tom at the office was brilliant explaining everything to us and all the information and literature provided made it simple to understand. Dominic and fitting team were professional, tidy and made sure we understood everything. Gave options where to position the battery/inverter to keep as neat as possible. Helped us set up the app and explained what it all meant. Had the first 14 panels in for a week and so far battery has been full every day . Had the other 4 fitted today and finished. I know this will make a huge difference to our electricity bills! They even arranged the DNO paperwork so as soon as that's back, will be supplying energy back to the grid too at this rate! Don't get paid a lot for this but better than nothing!

The installation team arrived on time and worked quickly and tidily, completing the job within one working day. The customer's requirements for cable routing and concealment were fully met and the final finish was to a high standard.

Using local recommendation, we obtained a quote for solar panels and battery system from Electech. The survey visit was very efficient, lots of ideas proposed but no pushy selling, they even advised to reduce the specification I suggested, with clear explanations. Futureproofing was discussed to ensure that options remain open. Once this was accepted, the panels were installed within a week! The installation team were superb, we were kept informed of progress during the two days the job took, as scheduled, and they were very thoughtful about the impact of their work upon us. As always happens, small issues arose due to unexpected snags but a solution was always found and we were included in the discussions. Communication with the company has been very good and responses received within 24 hours. Would I use this company again, absolutely.
