We selected Energy by Nature (EBN) from a shortlist of providers, preferring a local company to one of the nationals. A site visit quickly followed and we warmed to the staff who were very affable, providing us with comprehensive information and following up with a competitive quote which we accepted. The subsequent installation was significantly delayed which was entirely our fault. During that time EBN were very accommodating. When the time finally came to install, Kev and Jack were excellent. Everything was installed very neatly, labelled comprehensively and we were given a thorough handover. We had a leak 2 days after commissioning but Jack was on site within a couple of hours to fix the problem - we have had no leaks since. I would certainly recommend EBN but there are a couple of things I would mention to prospective customers which prevent me giving a 5 star customer service rating: 1) Be patient with communication. EBN are a family run business and as such you will not always receive an immediate response to every message you send. 2) Make sure you are made aware of everything that is required for the installation. We somehow missed the requirement for a "blow-off" pipe from the hot water tank and a comms lead from the ASHP to the control unit. We could have fitted these items far less obtrusively had it been made clear to us they were needed at the first-fix stage.

Had a new heat pump installed to replace the old one, it’s all in and working fine. I have known Kevin a long time, he fitted the original heat pump in 2009, he’s a friendly guy well experienced and good at the job.

We recently used Energy by Nature to replace our gas boiler with a heat pump using the boiler upgrade scheme. We cannot fault the company from start to finish. The work was carried out to a high standard and everything looks neat and tidy. We did have quite a wait for our installation as there was a delay in supplying our unit, but this was due to issues outside of the company's control. Overall we are really happy with the finished product and would highly recommend Energy by Nature to anyone thinking of replacing their existing gas boiler with a heat pump. Also, if you have been told that you can't have a heat pump because you have microbore pipework, give these guys a call, as this simply isn't true.

We were given this company's details by my mom in law's neighbour and we were not disappointed. Staff were really friendly and understood the urgent nature of the job to be done - mom in law has dementia and being left without hot water and heating could not be easily explained to her. Within a week all parts were supplied, fitted and working. Fitters were excellent and backed up by helpful staff in the office. Would certainly recommend and use again if needed in the future.

Used Kevin 2 years ago to fit our air source heat pump from scratch. Fantastic and friendly service then. Today Kevin came out to do our annual service as he did last year. Nothing too much trouble. He even went through my thermostat which confuses me and set it to my requirements. Nothing too much for this Co. So pleased we found them and will stick with them. Would recommend to anyone. I have been working with EBN to service and repair an existing Danfoss heat pump system which was installed in 2011 by a different installer, which we were having continuing issues with. We decided to replace existing system with 2 new 14kw Mitsubishi Eco Dan Air Source heat pumps and new water tank. The advice I have had on all the alternative systems available was professional and unbiased. The work has been carried out on time and to budget. Installation is very professional and tidy, with the plumbing being immaculate and the system is working well. Old Danfoss system was removed, and all rubbish taken away.

EBN had been servicing our previous Danfoss pump each year, and were quick to advise us on a suitable replacement when the Danfoss let us down (only 8 years after installation). Although promptly ordered for us by EBN, we unfortunately had to wait many months for our new NIBE pump to arrive due to supply chain issues beyond EBN's control. The pump was eventually delivered to us a few weeks ago and at that point EBN worked hard to schedule the installation for us at the earliest opportunity. Kevin came last week to do the work (on his own on day 2 but with one other on day 1 to help with the heavy-lifting) and the whole process was seamless. EBN were slick, smooth and efficient and we felt very safe in their hands. We have had no problems at all with the new system since installation and I am not anticipating any. We look forward to continuing to rely on EBN's expertise in the years ahead.

We have used Energy By Nature to carry out service and maintenance work on our heat pump for several years and have always been happy with their work. Our heat pump recently developed a fault and we made the decision to replace it. We engaged Energy By Nature to carry out the replacement and the replacement installation work was carried out successfully and to the agreed schedule by Kevin. We have always found him to be very helpful in terms of advice and recommendations. He is reliable and has always carried out the work to the agreed timescales unless factors are outside of his control in which case new timescales have been mutually agreed.

I have an seventeen year old Danfoss found source Heat pump which I was struggling to find spare parts for. I contacted EBN and although unable to supply the parts, put me in contact with a company in Ireland who they use. They had the parts but would not send to private individuals. EBN then agreed to obtain the parts for me and forwarded them. Kayleigh and Lisa were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and I am a completely satisfied customer. I was in dire straits having been without heating or hot water for two weeks. These guys saved the day.

Kev might do a good job, but we will never find out due to the appalling customer service, communication and professionalism of his support staff. Sent from someone who had signed on the dotted line with them. We should have taken heed of a previous post!
