As a new landlord and following a periodic visit to my rented property, I was devastated to find the mould conditions that had accumulated in the 6 months since it had been rented, it was severe. Being an engineer, I spent around 3 days researching typical causes and potential solutions, many of which I found relied on the habits and integrity of the tenant, which is almost impossible to control. It was at this point that my online research led me to the solutions and services offered by Grant at Envirovent. What I really liked was the flexibility of being able to buy the kit, so that with a little planning I could install it myself, and therefore save some money. For my house the results were almost instant (over the weekend); the house had a nice fresh smell and the condensate around the windows and down the walls had completely disappeared. For me as a landlord not currently living in the country, I now have complete piece of mind that I no longer have to worry about the mould coming back, and would therefore highly recommend the products of environvent, and as well the friendly competent services of Grant for anyone else facing a similar predicament. I contacted Grant from Envirovent and he visited the house to check the issues we were having. He very clearly explained why our mould issue was happening and suggested the loft eco-vent system and an extractor fan for the bathroom. Since being fitted our mould problem has vanished. An amazing system and great value for money.

We tried everything to stop the streaming windows over the cold winter months, this also created mould around the windows and on the ceiling above. We had new double glazing but that didn't help, we tried a dehumidifier but that didn't solve it. We were actually considering moving house as it was causing us such misery, I then stumbled across Envirovent and its whole house ventilation system - I was initially apprehensive due to the cost but it was worth every penny. Within 48 hrs of installation the problem was solved. We do still get a minimal amount of condensation on the chilliest of mornings but it's nothing compared with the dripping wet towel that I used to ring out in the bath after wiping our windows in the morning, no sign of any mould since either. If you are at your wits end with condensation/mould then I highly recommend the whole house ventilation system from Envirovent.

We were having black mound problems in the children's bedrooms upstairs, We were constantly redecorating, tried mould paint, washing the walls etc etc, tried everything but the mound still kept coming back. We contacted Grant at EnviroVent Guildford who discussed the problems in clear English so we understood and also discussed the potential solution to the problems. We had the 'Mr Venty ECO2 Loft' along side a extractor fan in the upstairs toilet (which had zero ventilation). Since the installation we have had zero mould on the walls and zero condensation on all windows. Highly recommended solutions !

We got in touch with Envirovent after paying for an independent survey to look at the damp problems we were having. Grant Amos provided us with an excellent, no pressure service and as a result we had a Mr Venty installed and two cyclone extractors in the bathrooms. The condensation disappeared overnight and the damp patches have receded over time. We are thrilled with the result. The extractors in the bathrooms mean that the mirrors are clear even after a shower. Unfortunately we have had to have one of the cyclones replaced twice, a result, I understand of a faulty batch. I was a little disappointed with the slow response from head office, particularly as the first fault happened so quickly after the fan was installed, but Grant very quickly stepped in to help resolve the problem. In spite of this I would (and have) recommended Envirovent.
