Welcome to Essex Roofing, we are tradesmen specialising in all areas of roofing such as pitched and flat roofing and Velux. We cover all of Essex, as well as Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire.

We take on anything from a small roof repair to full roof replacements including new build and roof over-hauling. Essex roofing is run by a team with over 40 years combined experience and continue to grow.

I first contacted Lewis, if this is his name, few months back about gutters I wanted to change. Always saying he is interested and keeping me in suspend without actually doing anything such as visiting. I just had 2 velux put into my loft but, unfortunately, I am getting smaller as I am getting older been in my 70s so it is very difficult for me to reach the mechanism, so looking for somebody to make those automatic I posted the requirements onto velux. Essex Roofing replied straight away and give me a quote, without visiting, I accepted. Then nothing, carry on calling me, emailing me sometimes even saying he will giving me a quote, totally ignoring what was arranged. Where all those positive reviews come from, I wonder. Totally irresponsive, both his phone lines saying the messages boxes are full so no other messages can be left. Where is he? Is he real or just a website created for fun?

Very happy with the work and Lewis, turned up on time and discussed what the best options are. Lewis fixed the issue from the old roofing work, Lewis was very professional and straight forward and simple.

Both my wife and I are professionals in the construction industry with over 40 years experience. We employed Essex roofing to carry out roofing and repair works to our main dormer window. This is the first time we have used them.Their tradesmen were very experience and explained the works in detail as the works progressed. We were both very please with the over all excellent standard of workmanship. We have now asked them to look at other works for our neighbours.

The main contractor that we use for all our work, response very quick to do any type of work except heating and electrical work. The finish is always perfect. I would highly recommend Lewis. On hand when ever I need and very polite.
