F Smith and Sons moved me for the third time - my biggest move and used their packing service this time. As ever, they were excellent - arriving on time, and packing everything so quickly and efficiently. Move day itself, which can be so stressful, was handled calmly - even when the house I moved into had narrow stairs and tight corners. Felt very looked after, and really felt the team took care - and were brilliant as well at making sure furniture and boxes went to the right room. Would highly recommend.

Rhys and his team did a fantastic job job moving us from south London to Cambridgeshire. They quickly and safely packed our house, disassembled furniture and got us set up in our new home the following day quickly. They reassembled furniture better than it was already built, helped clear boxes and all round provided a great service with clear communication throughout. Rhys in particular was a fantastic foreman who made the whole process as easy as it could be. Would highly recommend F Smith & Son.

We recently moved within Surrey and used the packing and removal service. The whole team was fantastic from start to finish. They were polite, friendly, quick and incredibly flexible, which made what could have been a stressful move feel very straightforward. We had 3 guys and vans to move us from Croydon to West Sussex. We also had a partial packing service. All members of the team worked hard but took care of our stuff. They made what could have been very stressful fun and they were polite and good-humoured throughout. Can’t praise them enough.

The packer khan turned up on time and was polite and courteous at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. The uplift team again were efficient friendly and nothing was too much trouble and always asking if unsure. The communication from the office was efficient and clear at all times. They were very understanding when moving and packing days kept moving ( not their fault ). Delivery team were a really friendly helpful pair. They made my elderly parents feel at ease and only to happy to move items if they changed their mind on location in the new house. Overall the best experience I have had with a removal company. Would happily recommend them to anyone else and use them again if needed.

The whole experience from start to finish was very professional and easy. Couldn’t fault anything. Made the move so much easier and nothing was too much to ask. I called F. Smith & Son as I needed a ‘proper’ removal firm to move a much loved wardrobe from my mums house in Manchester, that we were needing to sell, to my home in South London. It is a mid-century wardrobe that didn’t appear to come apart so I needed a good removal firm to move it with care. And I found that firm in F Smith &Son. The wardrobe was found to be too big to get down the stairs in one piece but the removal men went out of the way to work out how to take it apart - no instructions were to hand!! I had to have the wardrobe stored as I was away working abroad for three months. But every step of the way was organised and dealt with carefully by this firm with emails and phone calls. My wardrobe was delivered by two very happy chaps who went out of their way to get my wardrobe up two flights of stairs, but once again it was found to be too big to get up the stairs easily. So they took it apart and then rebuilt it once in my home. This company are worth every penny for the care, organisation and help they provide. I highly recommend this family run removal company for any moving job you have.

I relocated from Croydon to Southwell in Nottingham. Rhys, Charlie and John loaded the removal van in a couple of hours. I was very impressed with how quick they were while at the same time being considerate of my possessions. All 3 of them were friendly, courteous and it felt like I was talking to one of my family. I was very comfortable with them. Rhys and Charlie did the journey, unloaded most and returned promptly before 8am the next morning to finish the job. They were very considerate where they were putting things, correct rooms etc which made it easy for me to start unpacking. I cannot praise Rhys and Charlie enough, in my opinion they went above and beyond my expectations. Well done boys, you were amazing and certainly deserve this review! I would have no hesitation in recommending F Smith removals.

I did not exchange contracts until the day before i moved but F Smith & son kept my slot free without a deposit, which they did not have to do and I am extremely grateful. Lee, Jack and 2 other men loaded sll of our belongings very efficiently and politely. The next day they drove to Poole and Lee and Jack unpacked. They were incredibly helpful and professional and provided excellent service throughout. No breakages. I would definately reccomend.

We used F Smith & Sons to pack and move our home. From the very start, they were brilliant in the booking process, very clear and helpful. On the day, the packers and movers did a brilliant job, taking good care of our things, but also working fast which meant we were in and could settle quickly. Very impressed by it all!
