Over the past 25 years we have used Fentons to provide all the floor coverings in our house. Their work has always been very good. Some of the carpets had been steadily shredded by our cats over the years, so when we decided not to replace the last of our cats, we decided to replace the carpets instead (living room, stairs and landing). Fentons was the obvious place to go for the new carpets. They have done an excellent job, as always. They are helpful and approachable, very knowledgeable about floor coverings, and good at resolving any minor problems quickly on the rare occasions that they occur. Crucially, their fitters are very good.

We ordered carpets for our living room, hall, landing and stairs and vinyl for the bathroom. Mike at Fentons was always helpful and friendly while we were choosing products and provided useful advice when needed. The flooring was to be done on completion of building work however that was interrupted by Covid and then other issues and so was considerably delayed. Mike had already got the carpet and vinyl but uncomplaining stored them for an extended period until the work could be finished and then his fitter did an excellent job of laying the carpet and vinyl. We are very happy with the results and would have no hesitation in using Fentons again and recommending them.

Marcus fitted my laminate flooring and did a magnificent job. Most of the time was spent preparing the floorboard surface. When it came to the laminate application Marcus showed a remarkable skill level. Many would expect a template to be used for the intricate work like architraves but Marcus just uses his eye and judgement. What a skilled workman! Good on you Fentons well done. Can't recommend you highly enough!

We always try to use Which? Trusted Traders whenever possible and Fentons certainly live up to this reputation. Mike was extremely helpful with advice when selecting carpets and vinyl for our tiny rental flat. After we had chosen, we left the flat keys with Mike and within a few days the flat had been expertly fitted out with the ordered floor coverings and the keys were returned to us. Despite us not being present, the fitting was exceptional. All in all Fentons gave us a first class quality job and we would thoroughly recommend this company.

Michael Fenton laid a piece of existing carpet in my parents living room. It was a small job for him and one he might reasonably have turned down, but he fitted it in around other work and my parents were very impressed by the fact that the fitter worked very hard, discussed what they wanted and did an excellent job cutting and piecing in the carpet to produce a neat result. I would certainly use Michael's service again and recommend Fenton Flooring to others.

Used fentons after reading feedback on whichlocal for carpet removal and the laying of an Amtico type flood to our front room. They provided a comprehensive quote with lots of options to choose from and left lots of samples to look at. Marcus the fitter helped use move the furniture in and out of the room.The work was initially quoted to be completed on tuesday but they managed to come in on monday and laid the floor in about 5hours . Very professional service all round and will use again.

I recently contacted Fentons on the basis of prior recommendations on Which Local. I required re-flooring of a kitchen, with the new flooring to be laid over existing terracotta tiling and to extend under existing kitchen units and fitted appliances. Mike and team at Fentons were responsive (by phone and email) and helpful in addressing questions and suggesting flooring options to suit desired style, finish and budget. The written qoutation was clear and provided promptly. They even made available some of their own large sized showroom samples to take home for viewing. Very pleased with the quality and aesthetic of the product fitted (Moduleo) and the care and attention in the fitting. Service was professional and Mike was very conscientious in resolving any issues that came up. Fentons will be first choice for my future flooring requirements

Fentons supplied and fitted an Amtico floor to my bathroom. They Co-ordinated with the bathroom fitters so that the floor prep was done the day before the floor was put down on a Saturday. I would definitely use them again for future floor coverings.
