Had a replacement boiler fitted, engineer was here before eight am, straight to work, had it all completed by dinner time, very little mess and he cleaned up everything great in my new kitchen. He was pleasant and helpful setting everything up for us, I would recommend anytime. I have had my old boiler serviced by this company for last few years and have joined their service plan too.

We decided after speaking to our engineer who had just carried out our annual service that we had reached the stage where we would be wasting money to continue with our boiler. We asked for a quote which was very reasonable and we accepted, the boiler was fitted, the engineer who did the work was excellent and clean and helpful showing us how to use the new handset for the boiler also how to read the gas/electric metres we were very satisfied with the work and job well done. Already we have noticed a drop in consumption of gas and are happy that our billls are reduced

Rubbish service cancelled with them as would not fix boiler heat exchanger which is covered they just want to sell you new boiler. Would not recommend so I got new boiler from other trader better service ever and cheaper than this trader. All they talk to you about is have a new boiler when not needed as British Gas replaced 2 over the years

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. However, I am very disappointed to read the information you have supplied. At First Call we pride ourselves in customer service and making sure we fill all of our customers expectations. As you can see from all our other reviews we always try our very best, and in most cases succeed. With regards to issues with heat exchangers, we do in fact cover them. However, if we find they are sludged up or corroded due to lack of maintenance (ie failure to service the boiler or clean the heating system) then we offer advice - such as a quote for replacement and/or also a quotation for a replacement boiler if that makes more financial sense. I am sorry you feel we were unable to help you on this occasion, however I see you still decided to get your boiler replaced so it would appear our advice was correct. We only ever advise customers to replace their boilers as a last resort, and then we offer all of our customers our very best rates including loyalty discounts. Thank you for your past custom and we wish you all the best for the future.

I just wanted to take the time to leave a review for this company. The gas engineer that came out to look at my boiler was polite and helpful. As a person suffering from Parkinson's he made every effort to make sure I understood him and was very patient.

I cannot praise First Call highly enough from start to finish. The costing engineer, Dave (who was a gas engineer, not just a sales-only person) was clear & concise, answered questions to my satisfaction & was able to tailor the job of installing my new Worcester Bosch condensing boiler (not had one before) precisely to my property. I also got the earliest date possible for fitting & knew who & what to expect on the day. The fitter, Dean, more than met my expectations. He went above & beyond to make sure my new boiler fed every one of my old radiators perfectly after power flushing. I had heat on the top storey of my 4 floor, 4 bed Victorian house that I hadn't had properly in years. He mended a faulty valve on 1 radiator, fitted an isolator valve to my boiler & even repaired a detected leak on my gas meter! He was pleasant, polite & informative throughout, & gave of his own time at the end of the day to finish off precisely & clean up the work area as guaranteed. This company made what could have been a trying job into a positive experience at a more economical price than bigger concerns. I recommend them heartily. Make First Call your first call. They are first class.
