The replacement of our old boiler with a new one was not a process that I was looking forward to. I was reassured by my first conversation with First Call Gas. Today the boiler and engineers arrived on time and I am so relieved and delighted with the whole process. I would urge anyone who needs a new boiler to trust these guys.

Had my Heating system installed and the heating system and 4 radiators Top quality Professional Service all very nice polite Lads who have fitted the full system to a High standard and they are very good polite Lads and are a very good quality service and they Cleaned after they had finished the work removed all my unwanted items from my old system I told them I would clean up the mess but they wouldn't Have any of it and have fitted my new system so we'll very Competent workers who have done the work to a very High standard and even removed all the unwanted stuff from my home in a very polite and professional service than you very much I would recommend these Lads To anyone...Excellent job boys thanks for the Competent standard of work very Professional

Had a new boiler fitted in March 2023 by 1st Call Gas Limited. The friendly engineer completed the job in one day, took the old boiler with him and left the job neat and tidy, 1st class workmanship. I'm very pleased with it - 10/10.

We signed up for the First Call Gas Premier Care Plan a couple of years ago because our boiler was getting to the age where we were worried it might suddenly fail us. First Call were brilliant and the Premier Care Plan is a really fair price and gave us the peace of mind that they would sort the boiler or the central heating in any emergency or unexpected incident. Always friendly on the phone and quick to answer or sort anything. In the end we only had to phone them for a leaking radiator, but also used them for a Gas Safe check when selling the property and they were always brilliant.

I had a new gas boiler fitted also four new radiators. The gas engineer arrived as agreed along with an apprentice. They worked all day and most of the work was finished, they had to return the following day to fit the last two radiators. I was very satisfied with a job well done.

With this organisation, I have had a Central Heating Maintenance Contract for many years. I cannot speak more highly of their work ethos; they are everything that one would wish for when considering a choice of C H engineer. They are prompt in their response to one's requirement, demonstrating a very high level of expertise and delivering with a smile. Had a replacement boiler fitted, engineer was here before eight am, straight to work, had it all completed by dinner time, very little mess and he cleaned up everything great in my new kitchen. He was pleasant and helpful setting everything up for us, I would recommend anytime. I have had my old boiler serviced by this company for last few years and have joined their service plan too.

We decided after speaking to our engineer who had just carried out our annual service that we had reached the stage where we would be wasting money to continue with our boiler. We asked for a quote which was very reasonable and we accepted, the boiler was fitted, the engineer who did the work was excellent and clean and helpful showing us how to use the new handset for the boiler also how to read the gas/electric metres we were very satisfied with the work and job well done. Already we have noticed a drop in consumption of gas and are happy that our billls are reduced

Rubbish service cancelled with them as would not fix boiler heat exchanger which is covered they just want to sell you new boiler. Would not recommend so I got new boiler from other trader better service ever and cheaper than this trader. All they talk to you about is have a new boiler when not needed as British Gas replaced 2 over the years

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. However, I am very disappointed to read the information you have supplied. At First Call we pride ourselves in customer service and making sure we fill all of our customers expectations. As you can see from all our other reviews we always try our very best, and in most cases succeed. With regards to issues with heat exchangers, we do in fact cover them. However, if we find they are sludged up or corroded due to lack of maintenance (ie failure to service the boiler or clean the heating system) then we offer advice - such as a quote for replacement and/or also a quotation for a replacement boiler if that makes more financial sense. I am sorry you feel we were unable to help you on this occasion, however I see you still decided to get your boiler replaced so it would appear our advice was correct. We only ever advise customers to replace their boilers as a last resort, and then we offer all of our customers our very best rates including loyalty discounts. Thank you for your past custom and we wish you all the best for the future.

I cannot praise First Call highly enough from start to finish. The costing engineer, Dave (who was a gas engineer, not just a sales-only person) was clear & concise, answered questions to my satisfaction & was able to tailor the job of installing my new Worcester Bosch condensing boiler (not had one before) precisely to my property. I also got the earliest date possible for fitting & knew who & what to expect on the day. The fitter, Dean, more than met my expectations. He went above & beyond to make sure my new boiler fed every one of my old radiators perfectly after power flushing. I had heat on the top storey of my 4 floor, 4 bed Victorian house that I hadn't had properly in years. He mended a faulty valve on 1 radiator, fitted an isolator valve to my boiler & even repaired a detected leak on my gas meter! He was pleasant, polite & informative throughout, & gave of his own time at the end of the day to finish off precisely & clean up the work area as guaranteed. This company made what could have been a trying job into a positive experience at a more economical price than bigger concerns. I recommend them heartily. Make First Call your first call. They are first class.

First Call Gas engineer Dean Harris came to carry out remedial work at my property. Mr Harris was truly a nice person to have work in my house. Mr Harris was polite, courteous good personality and character He was highly professional and took great pride in his work. Talked me through the plan of action and carried it out to the dot. Perfection is an illusion but Dean Harris' workmanship is very close to perfection. I would highly recommend Dean Harris from First Call Gas.

I called 'First Call Gas Ltd' at 9am Monday as there was no hot water, so I was delighted with the telephone response from the office & thrilled to hear the engineer would come. Well by 10.30 arrived & explained I needed a new central heating pump which he ordered promptly, by 3pm another helpful engineer came to fit the new pump. I was overwhelmed by the response & efficiency of 1st Call. A big thanks & recommendation. First class.

We have been with First Call Gas for 10 years and usually had one or two breakdowns each year. I have received a brilliant service, attending either same day or day after. They always repaired it promptly, lovely staff, cheap but reliable. I always recommend them to family and friends. Our new boiler has 2 years warranty, as soon as that runs out we shall be back with them.

Two very polite and professional engineers. They talked me through what was happening as they had to lift the living room carpet to get to the under drawing to change the pipes. Everything was put back exactly where it belonged. They removed their shoes when entering the living room, even though I said there was no need. An extremely satisfying installation of a new boiler.

My father in law is 95 years old and doesn't cope easily with change or upset. Called company this morning. Rob came 2pm. Toilet sometimes didn't flush when handle depressed. Rob quickly analysed the fault as insufficient water entering the cistern and rectified the problem. Very pleasant and unassuming manner.

We were sceptical when we signed up, but then they serviced the boiler in the summer (2017) and we were pleased. But during the recent heavy snow, our boiler switched off, no heating! The roads around where we live were terrible, but Richard the engineer battled through to get us warm again.

Our old boiler is on its last legs, we as pensioners can't afford to replace it, yet "First Call", keep it working safely. They replaced a broken expansion value in a jiffy with a brand new one and service it, for £10 per month.

We were dreading having to change the boiler, but the time had to come. We contacted them and their engineer came on the given date. He had all the tackle and knew how to use it. The boiler was replaced by lunchtime. He explained how the new one worked and left the kitchen immaculate. Excellent service!

Quotes were sought from 4 suppliers - yet only 2 supplied figures. First call pointed out that a power flush insisted on by British Gas would have damaged my system as it was part microbore. First call quoted a price which cost almost 1/2 that of British Gas. So a decision to use first call was easy.
