Ian done a create job installing a replacement bathroom ceiling light, gave advice regarding IP Zones, so I bought the right light for replacement. Will use again.

Ian did a great job in the kitchen replacing 12 older spot lights with LED, plus under cabinet lights. He also replaced a broken dimmer switch. He is friendly, reliable, and very tidy. Highly recommended.

I hired Ian Foreman to change my fuse board. His quote wasn’t the cheapest but he was the only electrician that listened to my request. He did an excellent job and I highly recommend him. Going forward I will hire him to do all of my electrical work.

Ian was excellent, courteous and the price was very reasonable. He sorted squirrel damage to wires in the loft, diagnosed and fixed issues with two lights and replaced a bathroom fan. I would definitely use him again.

Ian came to so an EICR and was a likeable, efficient and very competent electrician, who I would definitely recommend. He noticed several other things that needed doing, communicated well about them and went out of his way to make sure everything was in order.

I first contacted Ian to ask for a quote on a few jobs around the house (repairing sockets, adding new sockets, rewiring lights, removing an electric heater) - he was extremely helpful, giving me lots of honest advice which meant that he actually talked me out of doing several jobs (and therefore himself out of some of the work!) since it made more sense to do these at the same time as we would plan to redecorate. He then came round soon after to carry out the work, and throughout he was both efficient and very helpful with advice on other issues. When he uncovered some particularly unusual wiring issues, he also did a brilliant job of working out what was causing problems each time and solving this, explaining as he went, and making everything safe and to high quality standards. All the time he was very friendly and personable, and I will certainly be in touch with him next time I need any electrical work done. On top of all of that, he was very reasonably priced and was always keen to work out the most cost-efficient way that he could cover all of the work I wanted done. I have already been recommending him to friends nearby, and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in the Ruislip area!

I contacted Foreman electrical and Ian came at 9am the next day. He identified the issue ( a burnt out plug) and resolved the issue speedily. Ian was kind, understanding and explained everything he was doing. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you Ian.

I had several jobs for replacing the fuse board, fixing a couple of plugs, new smoke alarms and checking some other items. Ian was more than thorough, clean and tidy, providing certified documentation and videos of what he had done and how it works. He is very trustworthy and good value for money for a job well done

Ian was polite and efficient. I had a pull switch that had jammed and a 3 way switch which caused the circuit to fizz. He changed the pull switch and the switch after popping to the electrical wholesaler to pick up a new switch.

I contacted Ian because his reviews were excellent and I was considering an electrical report on a house we are buying. He talked me through the process and gave me lots of useful tips and information to help us think about the issue. He then offered to look at some paperwork we had on the house’s electrics. Ian’s advice and comments on the property were very helpful indeed, and made us think we probably didn’t need a report at this stage, so he has talked himself out of a job! I offered to pay for the advice but he said he was happy to help. His communication was clear and informative and interesting and we will definitely use him for our electrics in the future.

I asked Ian to come and provide a quote for replacing some ceiling lighting at my flat, which I have just moved into. He gave helpful advice and suggestions for each job I was considering doing and shared his rates and possible costs. I was recommended to use Ian as a qualified electrician from an estate agent. Ian not only was able to sort out all issues with the electrics onsite but also provided valuable insights on other electrical works carried out by other parties. This allowed me to follow up and rectify the unsafe practises caused by said parties. Ian provided an EICR electrical certificate and Aico Alarm Status Report required for rental properties allowing me to adhere to rental standards. Like many houses in our area, we had a rodent issue, chewing the electrical wires of our bathroom lights. I saw Ian's details on the Which website and since he was local, decided to call to see if he could quote for some new lights in my bathroom. The previous ones were not high quality and water damaged. He came around within a few days, convenient to us both and gave me a reasonable quote to provide and replace new lights and bulbs. We agreed a time to undertake the job and Ian arrived promptly as agreed. All work carried out and he also made safe some of the wiring which unfortunately had not been done to the required standard by the builders who had previously replaced my bathroom. All finished in good time.

I presented Ian with a tricky problem. An intermittent fault that was tripping a fuse. A previous electrician had failed to find the cause but Ian eventually tracked it down to some wires in a conduit. He then came up with an innovative solution that avoided any damage to the walls. Everything was done quickly and cleanly and at a sensible price.

This was the second piece of work Ian completed for us having installed a new fuse box earlier this year. Ian is professional, very knowledgeable, clean and tidy and competitively priced. We would not hesitate to recommend Ian to local friends.

I called Ian to ask if he would look at an outside with a view to replacing it. He called later to say he was in the area and asked if it was convenient to drop by and take a look. He was able to advise me and very quickly got the light fitting I wanted and fixed it. His work was efficient and clean, and he was polite and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Called Ian with a socket problem he called back within two hours I explained the problem and he went through a few scenarios and it was decided that I could sort the problem myself which I did so he sorted the problem over the phone so he did not charge a call-out fee and left me a happy customer so I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone who needs a electrician very honest and professional great service

Ian installed internal and external lighting for us in a new garden cabin and did a fantastic job. At his initial visit he reviewed the electrics in the house and the power requirements, made recommendations and had suggestions regarding the style and positioning of the lights which we agreed with. We are so happy with the outcome, the external lights are lovely and the WIFI switching means we can turn them on and off from the house too which is really helpful when walking to and from the cabin at night! Ian even adapted the lighting, reducing the internal fittings when he saw that 3 would provide plenty of light for our needs. We were able to use the extra light in the garage, the single bulb we had barely provided any light so we always had to open the garage door but now its a well lit space too! We need to get more work done inside the house next year and will definitely be asking Ian to do the job for us! A pleasure to have in the house, tidy and reliable, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
